Undead Mage: I Have a Skeleton Clone

Chapter 314: Divine Artifact of Battlefield Meditation Endurance Warfare Technique!

Before confronting this large group of centaurs, Fang Zhou had just slaughtered a group of demons, and his Spiritual Power was greatly depleted. The unexpected appearance of numerous centaurs meant he had not yet fully recovered.

Looking at the centaur elder's vigorous state, Fang Zhou understood that he couldn't defeat this powerful opponent in a short amount of time. An idea sparked in his mind. Seizing the moment before the elder could summon its Totem Pillar, he switched targets and began to unleash a furious barrage of Skeleton Flying Spears and Death Ripples on the Centaur Warriors in the front row.

He decided to clear out these ordinary demons first and gain some points in the process.

After using Skeleton Flying Spear to quickly finish off several low-health melee units, he immediately released Death Ripple from the Undead Magic Ball. The blast sent a group of centaurs screaming in agony as they collapsed and died.

When the centaur elder saw the Undead Mage suddenly change his direction of attack, it thought Fang Zhou planned to kill all its kinsmen before ganging up on it. With a cold snort, it began launching a volley of Poison Arrows and Ice Arrows at the skeletons surrounding Fang Zhou.

Fang Zhou gripped the Undead Magic Ball tightly. With each repeated strike, the swirling Spiritual Power around him nearly converged into a dark vortex. Every release of Death Ripple was accompanied by a piercing shriek that caught the Centaur Warriors completely off guard, their anguished cries rising and falling in waves.

The centaur elder was unwilling to show weakness. Green energy surged from its short staff without pause.

Volleys of Ice Arrows, Poison Arrows, and the Blizzard Skill were unleashed; Skeleton Flying Spears, Death Ripples, and the Horror Aura rumbled in response.

Within the dense forest, large swaths of trees were destroyed, and the vines and thorns on the ground were burned to a crisp. The Centaur Warriors were collectively corroded by death energy, while the skeletons were successively frozen by the chilling air. The Power of Death and Spiritual Power intertwined in mid-air as a Magic Storm suddenly erupted, creating a majestic scene.

Various magical energies continuously exploded in the air as both Fang Zhou and the centaur elder cast spells with all their might. The BOOM! BOOM! of relentless impacts sounded like a tragic and heroic sonata. To Fang Zhou's ears, however, these sounds were a death requiem for the centaurs. Every clash of spells was accompanied by their pained shrieks.

Meanwhile, Fang Zhou searched for opportunities amidst the chaos, constantly adjusting his tactics to maintain his advantage. As the battle raged on, he noticed that while the centaur elder's spells were powerful, its casting speed was not as fast as his. He began to rapidly reduce their numbers with Skeleton Flying Spear, create chaos with Death Ripple, and use Horror Aura to weaken the Centaur Warriors' will to fight.

With this combination of tactics, Fang Zhou gradually gained the upper hand on the battlefield, and the centaurs began to show signs of routing.

Seeing this, the centaur elder grew exceedingly anxious and increased its spell output, attempting to turn the tide. However, Fang Zhou's calm judgment and rich combat experience allowed him to maintain his dominant position.

In the dense forest, two powerful forces collided relentlessly, each clash drastically altering the surroundings. Trees collapsed, the ground trembled, and the air grew thick with the aura of magic. Flesh and bone flew through the air amidst explosions as the Power of Death spread in all directions.

Under the intense barrage of damage, swarms of weakened Centaur Warriors fell continuously. At the same time, however, Fang Zhou's summoned skeletons also suffered heavy losses from the Centaur Warriors' siege and the elder's spell bombardment. Before he knew it, thirty percent of his skeletons had been destroyed.

Fang Zhou tipped his head back and gulped down a Spiritual Recovery Potion, swinging the Undead Magic Ball in his hand. Another fifty skeletons answered his call, surging toward the meat-grinder battlefield ahead.

The centaur elder frowned, its heart filled with doubt.

Have I been tricked? The Undead can be summoned again after death, but my brave kin, once dead, can never rise again!

Muttering a few syllables, it enveloped itself in a thick, transparent shield. It had learned its lesson. To avoid having its spell interrupted again, it first cast a Magic Shield for protection before beginning the long incantation.

As the syllables of the spell spread through the air on a tide of Spiritual Power, Fang Zhou, who had been watching it intently, felt the corners of his mouth curl upward.

Caught you again…

"Skeleton Flying Spear!"

On Fang Zhou's command, a Skeleton Flying Spear shot through the air, powerfully striking the centaur elder's Shield. Although the centaur elder was on high alert and barely dodged the residual force of the spear, it had no counter for the Skeleton Shackles that followed.

An invisible surge of Spiritual Power flashed past. The centaur elder's spell was interrupted once again, leaving it momentarily stunned.

??? The centaur elder was utterly befuddled.

This was the first time it had fought Fang Zhou. It had assumed the previous interruption was a coincidence.

Seeing the centaur elder's spell fail, Fang Zhou seized the opportunity. He unleashed several more spells on the wounded Centaur Warriors, assisting his tireless and fearless Skeleton Army in reaping the lives of the demons.

The battle continued. Fang Zhou repeatedly used the combination of Skeleton Flying Spear and Skeleton Shackles to interrupt the centaur elder's casting. Whenever a Skeleton Flying Spear pierced its shield, Skeleton Shackles followed closely behind, leaving the elder stunned. Fang Zhou seized these brief openings to swiftly cast Death Ripple and Horror Aura, further weakening the Centaur Warriors' combat effectiveness.
