Lin Xuan Qi was glad that Lee He Song had come back safe and sound.

"Master Lee, welcome back." He welcomed Lee He Song back with open arms.

Lee He Song chuckled and waved his hands at him.

Lin Xuan Qi joined in with a chuckle. He still remembered how they'd met.

Lee He Song was peeping at his goddess Xun Er in his red tiled house beside the Hou Gong Temple.

He shrugged his shoulders and said, "I can't afford to get Xun Er here if that's what you want."

Lee He Song shook his head and chuckled.

He sat down and poured himself a cup of tea.

"Liu Ju Zheng is safe. I will take care of him for now."

"Yue Jie and Yue Xin are in the kitchen. I've tasked them to get busy to take their minds off what had happened."

Lee He Song nodded and glanced at Lin Xuan Qi.

He was more than impressed with Lin Xuan Qi so far.

From a mansion with nothing much, Lin Xuan Qi was able to get it to what it was now, with a thriving business.

The idea of getting Yue Jie or Yue Xin married to Lin Xuan Qi became stronger for Lee He Song.

Unknown to Lee He Song, Lin Xuan Qi had the same idea.

Lin Xuan Qi stood up and said, "Come, let's grab something to eat, in celebration that Master Lee returned safely and everyone in the Lin Clan is safe."

They headed to the dining hall for the meal while the other servants brought the dishes out to the guards from the Sima Family.

"They fought valiantly but weren't much of a use against the cultivators from Qing Feng Sect and Six Pulse Sword Sect.

"I had to retreat so that I could report back to you.

"Yuan Kai didn't appear as planned and it had caused Zhan Lao to be defeated by Lee Zhen Ren."

The Dark Lord's hand stopped and hovered above the book.

He lifted his head and glanced at Eunuch Xin.

Eunuch Xin immediately felt chills running down his spine.

Having been through the questioning technique of Yuan Kai, he knew what torture it was and he didn't want to go through something like it again.

The Dark Lord began to speak with his low and authoritative voice, "I need you to figure out what happened to Yuan Kai.

"And hand this over to the Governor of Hong Feng City."

A silk pouch flew out from the Dark Lord's sleeve and dropped in front of Eunuch Xin.
