Infinite Dimension Physique: Rise of The Lustful Devil

Chapter 133: Trials (Part 6)

"For now, we will kill the Rudhras and the Nocthen, and then we will move on to the Yakshas." Rahu shrugged; in reality, aside from the three of them, he hadn't planned to keep anyone alive from here, so either way, her clansmen, too, had to go.

"Mhm, let's go."

The two quickly arrived in front of a fight. The Nocthen and Rudhra were going at each other's throats.

Rahu and Miranthu quietly observed them, and Rahu had to say. These Nocthens were a bunch of insidious bastards.

They all fought in the dirtiest way possible; of course, he didn't blame them. If he were the weaker one in a fight, he too would definitely use some questionable, underhanded tactics.

Rahu watched this for a few seconds more, then clicked his tongue. "They are taking too long," he muttered.

Without warning, he moved, slipping into the battlefields like a shadow. The first Nocthen didn't see him, Rahu grabbed the back of his head and slammed it forward, straight into a Rudhra's charging knee.

Krchhh!!

Bones shattered, before the Nocthen's body could hit the ground, Rahu twisted and snapped his neck before shoving the corpse straight into the Rudhra's arms.

The Rudhra glanced at the scene in confusion, wondering why this man had intervened.

"Boy, you dare intervene in our fight?" The other Nocthen beside him shouted.

Miranthu didn't waste this opening; she darted with her body low and her movement sharp. With a spin, her palm struck upward beneath the Rudhra's ribcage.

The man stiffened, and his eyes bulged. He quickly raised his hand to defend himself, but instead, a sharp, brutal elbow landed on his throat. In an instant, he collapsed dead.

Rahu moved a step back as a Nocthen tried to slip behind him: Rahu caught the hand before it could reach him, with a smirk, he twisted his hand and crushed his fingers, and before the Nocthen could even scream. Rahu held his neck and twisted it at a brutal angle, ending his miserable existence.

The remaining Rudhras roared and charged towards Miranthu all at once, but with their mortal bodies, they were already exhausted. One of them charged towards and threw a punch. Miranthu smirked and met the attack head-on, blocking his fists with her force. Her punch was so strong that the impact of the force instantly dislocated and cracked Rudhra's shoulder.

Her knee followed immediately, landing on his chin.

Within a few minutes, the last Rudhra too fell. And finally, there were just the Ravana's who had remained, but when they saw Rahu's gaze, they froze.

But Rahu was too lazy to care about them, so he swept his gaze across the desolate battlefield and landed on Eryx. He was battered and bruised, with one arm bloodied.

In front of him, only one Nocthen stood. But he was at the end of his rope, evident by his heavy breathing, and finally, for a split second, his vision wavered. That was all Eryx needed; he spun and punched his throat, breaking it brutally.

Silence fell.

Only five figures remained standing.

Rahu.

Miranthu.

Eryx.

And the two Ravanas.

Rahu exhaled slowly. A faint, satisfied smile tugged at his lips. He looked up at the void.

And indeed, in the next. The void trembled and hallowed.

"Trial of Equalization: Completed

Candidates Remaining: 5

Commencing the Next and Final Trial

The Final Trial: The Trial of Death

Candidates have the permission to withdraw from the trial before it starts."

Rahu frowned. The trial of death? It sounded way too ominous. It even gave the choice to back off.

"Heh, Rahu, you'd better get that inheritance. I will be waiting for you in the outside realm," From the side, Miranthu spoke. It wasn't that she didn't want the Inheritance, it's somewhat felt that it was not compatible with her.

She shuddered when she saw the name itself, and she wasn't going to risk it foolishly. Also, Rahu was her man now. It was her duty to prioritize his needs first, so she couldn't help but speak her thoughts.

"Mhm, you won't be disappointed. That…I assure you," Rahu nodded when he heard those words. This was probably the best choice she could make.

"Also, there's one thing you must do," Rahu suddenly spoke. Miranthu looked at him curiously.

"With these three, hold all the cultivators there and lock them. Don't let a single one of them escape," He grinned. That was the reason he let the two Ravanas live. If he obtains the Inheritance, the sheep will be ready at his feet.

"Alright," Miranthu nodded after thinking a bit. It was a bit problematic, but doable. Saying that, she glanced up at him. "You…be careful."

"Mhm, Elyrx, give her a hand if needed," Rahu spoke to Elyrx, who sighed and nodded. And finally, he stared at the two Ravanas, who broke out in a cold sweat. Without wasting a single second, they dropped to their knees.

"S-Sir! We will follow you and young miss orders!!" They spoke in unison, even being from one of the strongest Houses, they couldn't help admit that they were terrified of the man in front of them.

"Mhm, good. Also, Miranthu. Look after my woman till I get there." Saying that, Rahu grabbed her waist and kissed Miranthu on her lips. She stiffened slightly before responding to his kiss.

After a good few minutes, they parted. Miranthu nodded and closed her eyes. Raising her hand, she spoke in a soft voice, "I withdraw."

Whoosh!

She disappeared in an instant.

"Heh, take care, brother. I'm sure you'll get the inheritance," Eryx spoke with a smile on his face, which earned him a kick on his ass before he disappeared.

Quickly, the two Ravanas exchanged a few messages of good luck and disappeared.

Rahu sighed and glanced at the void. And as if guessing the message, the void instantly trembled. Rahu blinked, and in the next second. He found himself in a chamber.

He curiously looked around the chamber; it was vast, but not empty. There were black stones lying beside his feet, smooth and uneven. Above him, there was no sky. Just a ceiling of darkness.

"What am I supposed to do here? Sightseeing?" he muttered in an amused tone and took a step forward.

The world ruptured around him, and pain filled his entire existence as a crushing force slammed into his chest, collapsing his internal organs and bones!

His vision fractured, for a brief second, the world went still. Then he understood.

He was dying…
