Infinite Dimension Physique: Rise of The Lustful Devil

Chapter 151: Looping Formation

A few days later, the sky was the same. Reflecting crimson light on the ground, looking as bloody as ever.

But today, there was something different. Towards the east, on a specific spot where previously Rahu and team had resided. There was a sea of cultivators gathered when the news broke out. All the cultivators rushed towards the site in a frenzy! Hoping to get a glimpse of Inheritance.

Eighty thousand of them!

More or less, they filled the plains, the hills, and even the subterranean tunnels below. Mana clashed in a chaotic frenzy.

Small arrays and formations hovered half-activated. All of them were waiting for one thing.

The Inheritance!

Rumours and whispers were wildly circulating among the present crowds.

"What do you think about the Inheritance!? I think my body has that…uh, yeah! Affinity towards it."

"Shut up, you fatso! The only thing that your body has affinity for is…food!!"

"Oh? Says the single skinny ass bitch! What have you achieved in staying fit?"

The crowd murmurs were wild, some occasionally breaking into small fights, but there was one thing common in all of them. Greed.

Their eyes were almost green with greed, suspicions sharpening with every breath.

A bit far from the crowd, a small group was sitting on the edge of the cliff. A dozen beautiful women surrounding a single, tall man.

Rahu looked at the sea of cultivators and smiled.

"Woaahh! They all just look like small ants!!" Lucy spoke. Her excited voice drew a chuckle from the women present.

"True, they all look so small," Lirae said, glancing in the distance.

"Anaria, look, even the Cinderveil Syndicate members are present. Sneaky as always," Rahu smiled as he pointed his finger at some corner of the crowd.

Hearing this, Anaria chuckled. "True, and besides. Since you went and slaughtered half of them, they don't even mention Karma's name."

A few days ago, after Rahu returned from the tent after the talk with Silverin. Their base was indeed attacked again by some Origin Realm cultivators.

Annoyed by their relentless attacks, Rahu went on and hunted almost seventy-five percent of the Syndicate's men. Killing and devouring their souls.

And since then, they had stayed quiet like the dogs they were.

The rest of the women shook their heads when they heard this.

"Miranthu, have you completed the task I gave you?" Rahu said, turning his face towards the Ravana woman. Hearing his words, Miranthu nodded her head.

"I have, and Rahu, they had a meeting while I was absent. And when they got the whiff of the activities here. They had already decided to come with full force once…heh, you know," Miranthu smirked.

"Indeed, the formation should be appearing at any moment," Rahu grinned. There was a cruel glint shining in his eyes.

Then it happened without warning.

The ground below the cultivators trembled. At first, it was a bit subtle…Barely more than a vibration beneath their feet. Then the tremor deepened, spreading outward in circles.

Cracks began to form, and light seeped through.

Golden, violet, and black runes erupted from the earth, spiralling the vast crimson sky.

The cultivators shouted in excitement and horror as the land split open, revealing layers of overlapping formation arrays…each more complex than the last.

Severin frowned when he saw the formations. He could feel the headache from miles away.

"What is that formation? It looks a bit…evil" He asked the man standing a step behind him. It was a young man in his mid-twenties when the young man heard the question. He hurriedly spoke.

"Master, it is a recursive looping formation…It's actually insane. This is a very complicated formation to create. The fact that someone had created something like this is pure genius!" He spoke excitedly.

Hearing his words, Severin looked at the formation and barked some orders.

The formation wasn't just defensive; it even seemed alive. Runes rotated endlessly, rewriting themselves mid-cycle. Some vanished entirely, some replaced by unknown symbols that hurt to look at.

A humongous door materialized in front of everyone's shocked gazes.

A vast dome of light rippled upwards, sealing a small entrance. The dome was protecting the entrance.

BOOM!!

A massive shockwave spread across the battlefield, pushing the cultivators a few meters back. The Inheritance was sealed off by this formation.

"Inside this…is the Inheritance!"

Formation masters immediately stepped forward, their eyes burning with excitement and fear.

One of them stepped forward and lightly touched the barrier and muttered.

"I have studied formation for over a hundred years…I don't even recognize the base logic used for this."

Another laughed out loud, his voice a bit bitter.

"Well, we have to open it, or else that greedy prince isn't going let us go with our heads intact."

Soon, all the formation masters across different Houses and sects began to gather around the dome. They all turned their heads collectively towards the direction of Severin.

"Begin"

With the command issued, the one hundred and twenty formation experts moved almost simultaneously.

They formed a massive ring around the glowing epicenter, a small complex array materializing in everyone's hand. And soon, they began linking their consciousness, perception, and mana in a single network.

When they tried to access the Formations network, two formation masters collapsed almost immediately, their souls destroyed before they could even react!

"Stabilize the outer ring of the loop!! Quick!"

"No, don't force that logic! Rewrite it!!"

"Shit! The formation is counter-adapting!"

Beads of sweat drenched their robes as symbols clashed violently. Runes shattered, reformed, and then again shattered. Every connection triggered a retaliation!

Minutes stretched into hours, then another.

The crowd grew restless, and some cultivators even attempted to approach the barrier before bursting into blood and debris.

"You fool! Don't approach the barrier carelessly!"

Finally, after an hour or so, the first layer cracked! With a smooth poo, it vanished.

"Good, since the first layer is completed. We could break the second in an hour too, with only the last layer remaining!"

The cultivators behind them began to cheer, encouraging their fellow formation masters. Soon, the second layer popped open. With just the last layer remaining, the formation's master stepped forward confidently.

But when they tried to read the logic, one of them frowned and suddenly recoiled in horror.

"T-This last one requires Blood Sacrifice!!"

BWOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!!!
