Even though this entire floor was made of light, Thalia didn't face any elemental suppression from it. It was just the physical pressure and mental stress.
Thalia looked around, her flowing black hair waved as she continued to walk forward in the endless void of light.
"...Master was right, it is indeed beneficial to me. This is a good training routine," she muttered, as sweat dripped down her pale chin.
She took out her sword for support and continued. But suddenly, a thought popped into her head unconsciously.
"If…Amelia was here. How would she act in front of the current master?" She couldn't help but be curious. That absolute madwoman was still, to this day, crazy about Rahu.
She most probably still had his clothes, sniffing them around all day like a deranged pervert. She shuddered just thinking about that…but never did the thought of Rahu getting dominated cross her mind. Her mind simply refused to believe, even imagining him getting dominated.
It was simply…not possible. Shaking her head, she continued to walk forward. Eager to be the first one to complete this.
…
"Sigh…just how much longer do I have to walk? This path is endless," Xinyi muttered as she glanced around at the void of endless light.
The pressure on her small body was immense; she gritted her teeth and continued to walk forward.
"My…bloodline is really useless. I couldn't even hold Raghlar for a few seconds. I was forced to take help from Lirae and Larae. But…he said he would reward the one who contributes the most, right? T-This is my chance! I have already proved my loyalty to him by giving him my ex-husband's head; now he would surely love it if I could increase my strength here…" Despite the light reflecting on her face. She had a crazed expression on her face—expression that was very…very dangerous.
"He would surely like me more, right?? I w-will definitely please him! B-But that bastard only looks at Lirae and Larae, even when I'm around!! Ughh! My head hurts just thinking about it." Xinyi clutched her head in, her expression twisting further by the second. But after a few seconds, she slowly returned normal.
"Xinyi, calm down…You have to complete the trial first. T-Then I'll give myself to him!" She made up her mind and spoke with determination.
…
At the same time, in another part of the trial, a different participant pressed on.
Anaria walked forward, her steps steady and confident. She was looking around, alert for any potential attacks. But it seems there were none. Just the endless pressure of the Light surrounding her.
"Sigh…this stupid father of mine had messed up big time. I have to hold him back before he does anything stupid that annoys Rahu," Anaria muttered quietly, walking through the void, feeling the pressure of gravity on her shoulder.
"But…what type of being is he? I never seen anything or anyone similar to him? And not to mention Karma. Even that beast is strange. Sometimes they both…just feel the same," She spoke absentmindedly. Her shoulder twitched as the pressure on her body increased.
She took a deep breath and calmed herself down, "This isn't the time to think about such things, I'll finish these trials and ask him myself!" Anaria nodded to herself and once again focused on her surroundings.
…
Seris stepped away from the battleground, wiping the sweat off her pretty face. "Phew! Now that was some next-level challenge!" she exclaimed, glancing forward.
Before her stood a massive, glowing door. Leading to the next trial, flicking her sleeves, she entered without hesitation.
A bright light blinded her, as her vision tunneled. A second later, when she opened her eyes. She was standing in the middle of a vast plain.
Bahruuuuuuhhaaaaa!!!!
She didn't even have the time to observe her surroundings before a loud roar shook the ground. Seris curiously glanced at the beast, which was a huge mammoth with large, sharp tusks.
Bahruuuuuuhhaaaaa!!!!
"Ugh, your trumpet is so loud!" Seris covered her ears as the large mammoth once again let out a trumpet.
"You damn beast! Didn't I say you were annoying!?" Seris hissed in annoyance as her figure disappeared in a flash of blurring fire.
She reappeared above the elephant, her fists began to glow, and within a second, blue fire burst from her fist. With a small smirk on her face, she smashed her fists on the beast's giant, hairy head, knocking it hard on the ground.
BOOOM!!!
Bahruuuuuuhhaaaaa!!!!
Bahruuuuuuhhaaaaa!!!!
The mammoth wailed in pain, but just as it was about to get. A small, pretty hand held its tusks. Its huge eyeball rotated back towards the source in fear.
Seri's smirk widened, gripping both the tusks with her arms and pressing her smooth legs on top of its head. She stomped hard on the beast!
"You know…these things would make a good gift for my beloved!" She let out a chuckle before the beast could comprehend what was happening. Icy blue fire spread through its entire body, killing it in an instant!
Her control was so precise…borderline monstrous that, despite burning the mammal's entire body to ashes, there wasn't a single scratch or a burned mark on the shiny tusks.
"Hehe! Now what should I make with these!? Wait, what type of ornament does he even like!? Shit, I should've asked Vivianne!" Seris suddenly facepalmed.
"A bracelet? Nah, too generic. A locket then? That would make him look even more of a hooligan! So that's a no. Ughhh! I suck at things like this, I'll just ask Az then," she said, shrugging. Taking off one of her scarves, she tied the large tusks behind her back.
With a whistle, she began walking towards a shiny door. Which was incredibly similar to the door she had entered earlier. The door to the third trial!
…
Over on Zira's side, the situation was much the same. She had completed her first trial within an hour and advanced directly to the second...a trial that required her to face and defeat an Origin Realm beast.
Stepping out of the gate, she found herself on top of a mountain peak. It was huge, with large, thick cracks over the grounds.
Stepping forward, she took out her sword, and thick purple lightning flashed from her body. Her eyes shone brightly, with a deadly arc, she slashed her blade at the ground below!!
