Infinite Dimension Physique: Rise of The Lustful Devil

Chapter 74: Training (Part-2)

He was sure that if he didn't have that Bear's demonic core, he would have become meat paste by now.

With heavy steps, his breath grew ragged, and cold air smashed his face every few seconds. The abnormal weight of the slab crushed him; in mortal terms, he was carrying a truck…not in literal terms, but yes, it was close.

But he only grinned, the corner of his lips widening every hour. Pain? Pressure? Now they had become some sort of seasoning for him.

"No shortcut…tch. Rahu Rahu, this is for the greater good. I swear, if the other two owners of the 'forbidden' physiques were to see me like that, I'm sure if they didn't die by my hands, they'd definitely die of laughter!" he muttered, his demonic core's spinning and tightening as the pressure on his body began to increase.

The mountain wasn't exactly a linear, smooth path. It had jagged rocks, uneven ridges, and cruel, inclined slopes, all designed for the purpose of breaking him.

The mountain seemed endless in his eyes, but he just focused on what was in front of him. A classic tactic, which he had learned in his training sessions in his previous life.

On the third day, his muscles bulged, his veins popping. His knees buckled as he tried to climb an uneven ridge; the ground trembled each time he lifted himself.

Slowly, but gradually, his speed increased. His steps grew firmer, Resolute!

Step. Crack. Step. Crack. Step

On the fifth day, he stood straight. Even with the increased weight of the slab, he held it in just one hand.

His steps were confident, and finally, on the seventh day, he reached the peak! With a roar, he threw the slab in the air, as if throwing it in that bitch's face.

"..."

The same array lit up again, and brown particles swirled around him, assimilating into runes and spreading across his body.

Rahu stretched his hands, feeling the strength coursing through his body. Now he was just, he could at the very least run away from an origin realm cultivator if someone were to chase him.

High above in the air, an Illusory figure stood watching this. Her eyes fixated on the figure of Rahu. His grin, his body, his eyes, his arrogance…every minute detail.

Her figure shook, as a faint tremor ran through her spine. The Sect Master had almost gotten a fetish to observe him.

And no, it wasn't just his face. If the Sect Master willed, in her eyes, all are just a sack of flesh and bones.

It was something else, something deeper inside him that was pulling her existence. Just as she was about to speak, his voice echoed.

"Sect Master, I'm done. Let's get this over as quickly as we can. I'm kinda missing my girls here."

Hearing his words, her brows twitched. She waved her hand and activated the fourth array.

"I think I'm starting to understand why you chose him…mother."

…

Still on the mountain, the fourth array lit up below his feet. Before he could take another step, the air around him shifted and thickened. The sky twisted, and clouds were beginning to spiral into a massive funnel that roared at him.

A Tornado

A massive fucking Tornado

The sharp winds hit him straight in the face; their force was powerful enough to pulverize mountains!

The ground cracked, his muscles bulged. Small cuts and holes appearing all over his body…small ones.

He started walking.

This time around, he didn't feel much pressure; the previous trials had done wonders inside his body.

Standing at the eye of the tornado, he slowly lowered himself and sat down. Look up, he smiled.

"These winds are strong…but not strong enough."

The tornado expanded, tightening around him like an angry serpent. Rocks and debris hammered him from all sides, yet he just sat there, unmoving like a mountain.

Soon, three days passed, and his body was bloodied all over. But the cuts were shallow and superficial. The more the tornado raged, the calmer he felt.

It was strange; the peace and calmness he was experiencing were truly something else.

Finally, on the last day, with a snap of his hand, he broke through the tornado's tough barrier, completing his fourth trial.

As usual, the array lit up, and the tornado was sucked inside his body, creating another rune.

"About time I finished this trial."

The final trial was a lightning one; the sky darkened. A suffocating chill spread throughout the mountain.

Rahu felt his hair on his arms rise.

Then

CRACK!

BOOM!

A deafening bolt of lightning slammed beside him, creating a deep crevice.

Rahu's lips curved slightly.

"Now this…is something else."

The clouds began to churn, cackling with lightning. Without warning, another bolt tore through the air—this time, the aim was him.

He didn't dodge. The lightning struck his shoulders, exploding all over his body!

RUMBLE!

The area where the lightning had struck blackened, smoke rising from his skin...yet he stood straight, his grin widening. He was starting to enjoy this training.

"Heh, weak ass bitch!" He spat; the provocation did wonders. A dozen volleys of lightning bolts rained down, hammering the entire mountain peak. It was a surreal sight.

Each blast of that lightning was strong enough to obliterate a peak Spirit Realm cultivator and even injure an Origin Realm cultivator slightly.

The Lightning struck again.

And again.

And again!

His entire body was zapped repeatedly. His nerves burned, his vision blurred by the excess power flooding through him.

Still, he didn't waver. Shouting and screaming had long been dead in the first trial. This continued nonstop for two days as the intensity of the lightning became higher and higher!

The sixth day was downright horrifying as lightning as thick as Yueshan's ass rained on him. But this time it wasn't harmful. It was strengthening his body and mind.

On the final day, the lightning finally halted its assaults. Ending his five-week-long training.

"Excellent Boy, you've proven yourself worthy, you can have those Soul Cores now."

A familiar voice sounded…from behind his back. Rahu turned his head curiously. But the moment he did, his eyes shone brightly.

It…It was the Sect Master!
