I opened my eyes to a vast red sky, my head stings a bit from that teleportation, "Uhh, that damned rift! It made me so nauseous!"

Holding my head, I slowly got up. Looking around, the plains stretched endlessly around the horizon.

"Rahu? Rahu! Where are you!??" Not seeing him around immediately, my mind instantly panicked.

But the realization that he wasn't with her hit her hard. I clutched my head as my mind desperately started to crave his presence, his voice, his face, his touch, his eyes, his body, everything!

Just as Azaria was about to walk towards the debris of the Kobold, her [Mana Sense] tingled. She turned her head in a certain direction.

"...Karma?"

The glaring elements of light and darkness mingled in a mess; yes, this was definitely Karma.

"But didn't Rahu tell her specifically not to use her powers?" Azaria frowned. After a moment, her eyes widened.

"She was attacked!" The veins on her body began to darken, slowly turning into cold, icy blue ones.

With a single thought, she disappeared! Her speed was so fast that it almost looked like teleportation.

But she was still standing there, her aura was monstrous. Her fur was transforming from all black to half white and black.
