Infinite Dimension Physique: Rise of The Lustful Devil

Chapter 96: I need them to… help with the process.

"STATE! What happened to her?" he spoke, hearing his words. Larae quickly briefed him about the situation. Hearing this, his eyes narrowed. Turning towards the guards, "Bring that ant in my tent and be quick."

"Oh?"

Hearing Rudhra's words, Rahu's smile widened in amusement.

"You! Darak! How dare you speak to him like that!?" Larae couldn't control her ire and spoke.

"Indeed, he had diagnosed and recognized the thing that's plaguing Xinyi and even took the risk of entering another world's base, and instead of thanking him, you speak to him like that!?" Lirae, too, joined in. Voicing her thoughts in support of Larae.

The Rudhra named Darak stopped in his tracks when he heard those words. "Diagnosed? Our alchemists, too, could have figured that out sooner or later. And, did you sense his cultivation? It's not even at Spirit Realm yet; the only reason I haven't dragged him in yet is because of the solution he knows."

Saying that, he walked inside. Lirae and Larae clenched their fists. This man was so kind to them and even helped them, yet Darak dared to say those words right in his face.

"Sir! We are incre–"

"It's alright, I don't mind him at all. In fact, I even agree with him to some extent." Rahu waved his hand to calm them down. Mhm, these girls. He liked them a bit now.

"Y-You agree with him?" Both girls were shocked; they probably thought he would lash out at them and yell. But he just stood there with an uncaring smile on his face. As if the words of that man didn't affect him at all.

Even the guards were surprised, but soon they shook their heads in pity. Who knows what will happen to the poor guy inside?

"Alright, enough talking. Get inside now," one of the guards spoke, although Darak had said to bring Rahu themselves, they were going to do just that. But seeing the expression on the two girls' faces, they refrained.

"Hmph, shut up, we will go," Larae snorted.

The trio soon entered through the gate, entering a small settlement.

"Mhm, not bad," Rahu said. At first glance, the Rudhra's base wasn't impressive. It was practical. Built in a medium-sized clearing under a cliff, it looked like something that was set up as fast as possible, but it was meant to last long if needed.

The entire perimeter was marked by wooden barricades with thick metal plates that were fixed unevenly. Swords, spears, shields, and other strange artifacts were stacked in weapons racks in bulk. The guards here moved in cycles.

It was a straight-up military base, on land shaken with the bloodline of the mighty Rudhras who walked here.

"Hmm, there are at least five hundred Spirit Realm cultivators present here. And a dozen Origin Realm cultivators. Not bad, not bad at all. They are quite strong," Rahu thought inwardly as his hawk-like eyes swept across the land.

Then he suddenly remembered something, turning towards Larae. "Say, are you two sisters? And who is that man to you?" He asked, his voice curious. He had noticed that they were a bit too close to Xinyi, more than friends, actually.

"Sigh…you have noticed it as well, huh. Well, to be honest, he is our husband. We three are married to him, so she was more than a friend to us. We are sisters," Lirae sighed, massaging her temple.

"You are his wives? And he treats you like that?" Rahu asked, honestly, even he didn't expect that oaf to have a set of beautiful wives like these.

"Heh, unfortunately, yes. He is stronger than us, so even if we wanted to do something. We couldn't."

"Figures"

…

Soon they arrived in front of a large tent. It was more like a room rather than a tent. Xinyi, the red-haired beauty, lay unconscious on the bed, with a few other men checking her pulse and blood sample.

"Sir Darak, it's worse than we thought. She is indeed affected by a poisonous plant called essencesealing orchid, but there seems to be something more than that…which we really couldn't figure out."

A skinny, Rudhra alchemist spoke. They were really confused here; they recognized the essence sealing the orchid, but they couldn't sense how it was clashing with Xinyi's bloodline!

"What do you mean, you couldn't figure it out!? Such wastes!" Darek hissed angrily, but when he heard a couple of footsteps. His eyes brightened. Turning around, he saw three faces.

Rahu, as usual, was walking without a care in the world, looking around curiously like a child. Lirae and Larae barely hid the anger inside their eyes.

"You, you said you had the solution, right? Quick, give it to them!" Darek spoke; the oaf even forgot he had insulted him at the gate.

"Heh? You say I give to them. That's cute. Didn't you just say the alchemists here were 'competent'? What happened to that" Rahu smiled, even an idiot could hear the sarcasm oozing from his mouth.

"What did you just say?" Darak's eyes twitched; he couldn't believe this guy was speaking such words in front of him.

Lirae and Larae were no exception; they turned their heads towards him. Shock was evident in their expression.

"Look, Darak, you could pretend all you want. But know that your wife will die in three days if not treated immediately. Now that he had entered their territory and even verified that no one could treat his poison. Well, there was no need to pretend any longer.

But…

Hearing his words, Darak froze. His wife? Die? Unacceptable! He gritted his teeth and calmed his mind down forcibly.

"Speak! What do you need?"

"Ah, now we are talking," Rahu nodded, looking down at the oaf he spoke to.

"Give one of your core techniques to me."

"..."

"Impossible!" Darak immediately shook his head, giving him the technique of their House? It was asking to be hanged.

"Well, that is a 'you' problem. I have stated my price. It still depends on you," Rahu shrugged.

Darak clenched his fists! If he hadn't had that solution, he would have definitely smashed Rahu's head into bloody debris!

But then his eyes widened, a 'brilliant' idea flashed through his mind. A technique, huh? Let's see if you are even alive after treating her. Thinking that, Darak smirked. He waved his hand and dismissed the Rudhra House alchemists.

"Alright, I'll give you one of our techniques if you successfully heal her, but if you don't…"

The threat was obvious; hearing this, Rahu smiled.

"Of course, I'll definitely heal her and bring these materials. I'll treat her tonight…And as for your wives, they'll be staying with me. I need them to… help with the process."
