Information to Mastery: Points Store System

Chapter 101: Buying an Apartment Building

"That is something that mainly depends on the purpose of the building itself." Adrian responded.

"Currently, it is impossible for this apartment to be able to accommodate all of us. So, I was thinking, should I just acquire a mansion or a villa, or I might as well purchase an entire apartment building.

You should know, the population will only continue increasing. So, I don't have the intention of renting very many apartments.

Instead, I feel that buying something big that can accommodate a large number of people is going to be better. So, what is your suggestion?" Michael explained.

Adrian did not hesitate as he responded, "I suggest purchasing an entire apartment building.

While it might seem like a bad choice, since the number of people that are going to occupy it is going to be higher, then it is going to be more suitable.

This will allow different people with different personalities to be able to do their own things freely, without much restrictions.

At the same time, during the time that those people would not have arrived, we could as well rent out the free units.

Then, we can notify the tenants at least one month in advance, just in case there is someone else that needs to occupy those units.

So, if it comes to cost efficiency, an apartment building is definitely the best option."

Michael had also been thinking along this line, and Adrian's words were just what he was thinking.

Since that was the case, Michael immediately decided to make a purchase of an apartment building.

As for what apartment building he was going to purchase, it was exactly the one that he was currently in.

He had already paid the rent for 3 months. So, as long as he bought this apartment, the money for the next 2 months would be returned to him.

At least this way, he could avoid unnecessarily wasting money or time asking for refund.

Accessing the system, he went directly to the real estate and property category, before he began filtering.

In just a little while, he managed to find this building. Looking at the price, it was not expensive, at least as compared to his current wealth, just priced at 237.6 SP. This was equivalent to a total of $23.76 million.

This price was quite high, but it was to be expected, considering that this building itself was not that old, just about 2 years old.

Additionally, there was a market not far away from this place, and a big mall just less than 2 km away from this place.

The infrastructure itself was good, which were the factors that contributed to the price, apart from considering the fact that it is in the school district.

Michael did not bother with much details, as he immediately spent the 237.6 SP, completing the purchase immediately.

Immediately after the purchase was completed, on the coffee table in front of Michael, a file suddenly appeared with a flash of light.

Michael picked it up, realizing that it was the transfer agreement, showing that he had purchased the building.

Michael was amazed by the efficiency of the system. At the same time, he had even more conviction, believing that the system was able to tell what actions he would do in the future.

Even though, looking at the signature date on the agreement, it showed that it was signed by the previous owner on this day, 30th of August.

Unfortunately, there was no time recorded on the document, to tell Michael at what exact time the previous owner signed the transfer agreement.

Regardless, Michael set aside the document, as he contemplated about the call that he had received not long ago.

That was obviously the call from Rose, regarding the upgrade of his account.

At the moment, his bank account had a total of over $300 million. But, that money was about to be transferred to Adrian, which was something that he was planning to do immediately after the upgrade.

But, would the benefits linked to his account still remain if there was no money in his account? Michael doubted that.

In real sense, Michael did not really care much about those benefits, as he himself did not handle much money.

Most of the things that he did, they required SP, as he purchased most of the things that he wanted from the system store.

But still, the benefits that were brought about by the upgrade of his account would bring some convenience when doing some things.

He would not have to wait in line at some places and so on.

Thinking about it, Michael looked at his current balance, which was at 29,762.4 SP.

'System, is it possible for me to convert SP into cash, then directly select an account for the money to be deposited into?' Michael inquired in his mind.

Since he could maintain the benefits from upgrading the card, he could allow the money to continue laying there for quite a while, earning some interest.

But still, Adrian needed money. So, he could as well convert SP into cash, and directly have the money deposited into Adrian's account.

That way, it would save him the hassle of having to wait until the following day, before transferring the money.

[Positive. The host can actively decide where to have the money deposited. Additionally, the host can also actively decide on where the items that the host would have purchased from the store can be placed.]

'Why did you not tell me that before!' Michael suddenly exclaimed in his mind.

If the system had previously informed him about this, would he be worried about someone suddenly barging into his house, just after he completed the purchase from the system?

[According to the host's personality and the current circumstances surrounding the host, it was deemed unnecessary.]

Michael: "???"

Michael took a deep breath, deciding not to focus much on this. Instead, he decided to access the conversion center within the system store, before he converted the extra 9,762.4 SP, all of it into cash.

But before the conversion, he had already decided in his mind on where the money was to be deposited.

He did not even need to actively give the account number to the system, as all that he needed to do was to think about where the money was to be deposited.

Michael then looked at Adrian and said, "I have just deposited $972 million into your account. You can use that money for whatever comes up and needs to be dealt with using money.

If there is anything that needs to be purchased, there is no need to confirm with me, just make the purchase as long as it can make things convenient." Michael said to Adrian.

"Thanks." Adrian responded.

Michael then thought of something else. So, he said to the three of them, "Additionally, if possible, you can get involved in the stock market, to try and earn additional income. Whatever you do with the money, that is up to you."

Michael had already thought about it. As long as the three of them had expert level skills when it came to stock market investments, and maybe foreign exchange, it would not be impossible for them to be able to make a fortune.

If they did this, they could earn a lot of money, which would at least prevent him from spending SP for money.

Currently, his SP balance was at 20,000. He would be able to earn more in the future, but the SP would not be enough, maybe unless if he acquired hundreds of skills, or even thousands.

Additionally, by getting them involved in the stock market, at least, they could continue boosting his net worth a little. Some things that he did not necessarily need to use SP on, the money could cover.

That way, he could save the SP and use them where it was more beneficial.

"Sure. I have recently just studied the stock investment skills. I can guarantee that I should be able to make a huge profit within the stock market." Adrian responded.

"Oh, by the way, don't make too big a scene in the stock market. There is no need to attract too much attention towards us, just earn whatever can be earned, don't earn too much." Michael thought of something before he reminded Adrian.

With his own understanding of the expert level skills, Adrian, if he possessed expert level skills in the stock market, it would be quite easy for him to be able to get huge profits.

The over $900 million could easily be turned into billions. But of course, something like this would easily attract attention towards them.

At the moment, they did not have enough capability to be able to fully protect themselves. After all, it was not just about money, but power and influence were just as important.

As someone who liked to avoid unnecessary trouble, since it was not very important to earn the money from the stock market, there was no need to be too aggressive.

"I got that. How much profit should I earn maximum?" Adrian responded, before he asked a question that left Michael somehow speechless.
