"This lady called Melvin Walter was kidnapped about 3 hours ago. Her car was hijacked along the way, before she was taken into a minivan that drove off towards the southern outskirts of the city.

Even though the minivan did not have a license plate, I have managed to find a few details regarding it through the surveillance footage.

The minivan was reported to have been stolen 3 days ago, and has been off the radar ever since then. Today, it also drove from the outskirts, and from the surveillance footage, it was driven to the outskirts of the southern part of the city on the day that it was stolen.

According to my investigation, regarding the person who had reported that the car was stolen, it seems that he has some connections with members of the dark society gang.

Additionally, there is $20,000 that was transferred into his account, just a few days before his car was reported to have been lost. Previously, there was no any association between him and the dark society.

Even though the money that was transferred to him was from an account that was registered under someone else, I have found the information about this person. He is a cousin of one of the core members of the dark society.

Everything links this person to be in the know of who it is that had stolen the car, and might even be in collaboration with the dark society in the kidnapping incidence.

As for Melvin's current location, it is impossible to be able to accurately tell where she is. But the last place that her phone showed was close to an abandoned factory, in the southern outskirts of the city." After quite a while, Onyx gave a response.

Michael could not help but raise his brows slightly when he heard that. Unexpectedly, it was the dark society that was once again involved in this matter.

Even though it was not yet a guarantee that they were the ones that had kidnapped Melvin, but most of the things pointed towards them.

After all, the fact that they had paid the owner of the minivan, then several days later, the minivan was stolen, that was definitely something that raised questions.

Michael decided note to waste any more time. Even though he was not sure if the abandoned factory in the outskirts of the Southern part of the city was where Melvin was, he still needed to go there first.

He would have instructed Adrian or the others to go instead of himself, but at the moment, they were all busy. As for himself, having just finished the 'seclusion' for the acquisition of SP, he needed to go out and stretch a little.

So, he quickly went back to his bedroom, changed into a gray t-shirt and black sweatpants, with black rubber shoes.

With this out of the way, he got out of the villa, got into the Audi, before he drove towards the southern outskirts.

He was driving at high speeds, as this was an emergency. As for contacting the police to inform them about this, he did not dare to do that, unless he was sure about the situation.

While he focused on driving, he informed Onyx to pay attention to any movements related to Melvin or any other person close to him.

To say the truth, he had not expected something like this. He was not sure if this matter was linked to him or not, but there was quite a possibility.

Though the possibility was minimal, considering that if they wanted to get to him through the people around him, they should have gone for Alex instead.

But even then, maybe they found that Alex was not an easy target, and decided to go for his sister? Or maybe they thought, nobody would expect that they would target Melvin instead?

Regardless of the reason, Michael thought that he would first of all get to Melvin first. As for the others, with Onyx paying attention to their movements, in case anyone of them was in danger, he would be informed.

At that time, he would not necessarily need to take action himself. He could just ask one of the shadow bodyguards to take action, especially if the two people that they protected were in the same place.

As he looked at the area that was clearly deserted, with only a few cars passing by once in a while, Michael thought that this was quite a good location to be able to hold a hostage.

Michael did not immediately alight from the car, as he began driving slowly through the area. And when he got close to the abandoned factory, he tried to listen carefully, if he could hear anything unusual.

Normally, even though his sense of hearing was enhanced, it was not to the extent that when someone spoke normally, it would be like shouting. Instead, it just felt a little bit louder than usual.

But now, as he focused on listening, he felt the sound around him growing louder. The faint breeze outside, the swaying of the tall grass around a few buildings, the rolling of a water bottle on the ground, they were clearly heard by Michael.
