Michael nodded as he waited, and about a minute later, he was once again required to pay.

This time, considering the number of people, and the price of the private room, Michael once again paid $1,900. Of course, the reason why the price was quite high was because of the meals.

Michael was not surprised by the appearance of the dining room. After all, if compared to the presidential suite that he had been living in for 3 weeks, this could not compare.

Even though it was just from a small hotel, it was a presidential suite nonetheless. Additionally, it was a presidential suite in comparison to an ordinary private dining room.

As the group settled down on the chairs, it was finally time for the food to be served.

Even though it was about 10:30 a.m., Michael thought that it would be good if they could eat well, then go shopping.

For that reason, he wanted everyone to eat well, which was why he decided on a buffet style of meal.

Hotel staff entered one after the other, pushing silver carts filled with covered trays. The clinking of dishes made the kids look over with anticipation in their eyes.

This was their first time in such a high end place, and were very much looking forward to the delicious food that was going to be served later on.

Under their eager gazes, the hotel waiters and waitresses arranged everything along the buffet table.

When the lids were lifted, warm steam rose, carrying the scent of roasted chicken, spiced rice, and freshly baked bread.

Dishes of grilled fish, colorful salads, and vegetable curry followed, each neatly arranged.

Soon, desserts and fruit trays were placed beside pitchers of juice and coffee.

With a polite nod from the lead attendant, the servers stepped back, and Michael and the others rose, drawn by the inviting aroma that filled the room.

Everyone grabbed a plate, before they began serving themselves with the food. As for the kids, the waiters and waitresses assisted them where necessary.

The group then went back to the table, before they began enjoying the meal.

Michael could feel the difference between this food and the one that he had been eating back in Drenn city.

He could tell, the quality of this food was definitely higher than the one in Drenn City. Maybe it was due to the ingredients, or maybe due to the levels of the chefs of the two hotels.

Regardless, with his current skills, it was impossible for him to be able to cook such a meal.

The group enjoyed the food, with the children happily giggling while conversing.

Michael was happy to see the children enjoy themselves like this. It was the same for the old man and Rebecca, as this was what they ever wished for, when they started the orphanage.

As for the others, they were also happy, enjoying the delicious food. After all, for a while, they had been eating according to their budget, and could not afford to enjoy such a sumptuous meal.

At some point in between the meal, the passkey cards were brought to the dining room.

After getting out of the private room, Michael led everyone to the 9th floor. This hotel building had a total of 14 floors.

The rooms that they had gotten were all on the 9th floor. Additionally, the receptionist was quite understanding, arranging the rooms to be next to each other.

Michael took the group for a tour to the rooms that they would be spending the night in. After that, it was finally time for them to go and buy a few necessities.

They left the passkey cards at the receptionist desk, and left the hotel under the stunned gazes of some of the people that had seen them coming in, and had spoken ill of them.

By now, they already knew that this group that looked to be extremely poor, had actually dined here. Additionally, they had booked a total of 11 rooms for the night.

Michael was not familiar with this city to begin with. So, he could only search online for the closest shopping centers.

Michael noticed that there was a mall called Eastview plaza nearby. But, he did not intend to go there.

After all, he did not want the people around him to experience the same thing as the one that they had experienced when they came into the hotel.

So, he decided to go to a local market that was not far away from the hotel.

This time, they did not take the taxis, but instead, they decided to walk, to help with the digestion of the food.

Considering the elderly couple, the group did not move fast. But still, they took the chance to enjoy looking around, as they tried to get themselves familiar with this area.

After all, they would be staying within the city for a long while. So, it was better to know some places sooner.

It was just that, since it was summer, the temperatures were getting higher. And since they had just eaten not long ago, and were now walking under the sun, the group began sweating.

But lucky for them, none of them was wearing any heavy clothes. Otherwise, they would have definitely suffocated or suffered from heatstroke.

Being the eldest of the group, they felt ashamed having to depend on a young man who was only 18 years old.

As for the others, they also felt kind of embarrassed, as for most of them, they were not actually that familiar with Michael.

Now, Michael was treating them so nicely, not only saving them from their nightmares back in Drenn city, but even after he brought them here, he was still providing for them.
