Information to Mastery: Points Store System

Chapter 63: Bio Humans System Store Mechanism

Just as he had suspected, within the Electronics and Appliances category, there were robots.

There was a wide range of robots available for purchase, which stunned Michael.

But the thing that shocked him the most was the price for the robots.

Why did it seem like the price of the robots was cheaper?

For example, for him to be able to get a robot that was capable of doing house chores, it would only require him to spend 3 SP.

If this was converted into money, it would be $300,000.

At the moment, where could one buy such a robot for just $300,000?

Additionally, just looking at the description of the robot, it was clear that it was able to efficiently do everything related to house chores.

More than that, it was a bio human. This implied that it was a robot, but on the surface, it looked no different from a human.

Not to mention if it was really possible to be able to find one to purchase, even if one of them popped up, it would be sold at an auction.

Not to mention $300,000, even for $10 million, someone would purchase it.

Michael did not think much about this, as he continued browsing through the store.

The number of robots was quite high, and they were of different categories.

The entry models were metallic helpers, built for sweeping, laundry, and dishwashing, each priced at 0.35 SP.

Next were the HomeServers-X2 that offered full-body mobility and light meal preparation for 0.95 SP.

The Butler One-Pro, a service unit with smooth gestures and simple conversational ability, listed at 2.5 SP.

Then came the BioButler-780, the model capable of cleaning, cooking, serving guests, engaging in modest conversation, and even defending its owner if needed, priced at 7.8 SP.

Then, there was the Vanguard-S9, a high-reflex security humanoid fitted with tactical awareness systems at 6.2 SP.

There was the Seraph-9X Bio human, powered by a micro-fusion cell, eternally self-sustaining and indistinguishable from a living person. Its value marked at 14 SP.

As for the most expensive one, it was the Elysium-Z1. It was a fully autonomous bio human, capable of performing all household chores, cooking, managing guests, learning new tasks, engaging in fluent human-level conversation, problem-solving, and self-repairing its synthetic systems.

But the most crucial fact was that, this bio human was actually sentient. This implied, it could possess emotions of its own!

As for the price, it was 110 SP.

If other people came to know that the robots within the system store were so cheap, would they not go crazy?

It was for this reason that Michael was even more inclined to make sure that nobody knew about him possessing the system.

Otherwise, if the news leaked, it could cause a great havoc.

And in fact, for most of the robots that he could see, especially the bio humans, Michael was pretty sure that they did not really exist in this world.

So, he was wondering, why were they available in the store? Should they not have been unavailable?

As he was thinking about this, there was information that popped up in his mind.

According to the information, it was clearly stated that the items that appear within the store do not necessarily exist in the real world.

It is just that, the concept of the items within the store all exist in the real world. As for the source, it doesn't necessarily have to be physically available, but the information availability and theories would also work.

As for the prices of the robots, the pricing was not based on scarcity, or the research funds involved before the production of the robot.

Instead, the price of the robots was determined based on the production costs. As for the production costs, all that mattered was the price of the materials, according to the real world.

As Michael came to understand this, he was even more amazed by the system.

It was actually capable of actualizing things that people were still making theories about?

If that was the case, then, if he started a technology company, and bought vehicles that could fly, then bought a batch of robots that could do research, to find a method of recreating them, would he not be rich?

But as soon as he thought about this, he immediately suppressed this idea. It was not a bad idea, but it was definitely not one to use at the moment.

Unless he had established himself, if he revealed something like this, it would only attract trouble.

After taking a deep breath, Michael began hesitating. He was wondering, what kind of robot should he buy?

But after a moment, he thought, he might as well purchase the most expensive robot available in the store.

It was quite expensive, a whole 110 SP, which was equivalent to $11 million, but it was definitely worth it.

As soon as he decided to make the purchase, he was required to make a decision on the gender of the robot.

After thinking about it, he decided to go with a male bio human. After all, in his view, male assistants usually encountered less inconveniences and misunderstandings.

If he decided on a female bio human, what would happen if someone began lusting after it because of its appearance?

The good thing about this robot was that, it was capable of performing different kinds of tasks, and it could learn skills!

This implied that if he wanted it to manage a business for him, it would be able to learn business management.

At that time, even if Michael had several businesses, he could leave the management of the businesses to the bio human.

As for combat strength, considering that it was a bio human, it obviously possessed incredible strength. As for how it was comparable to his current strength, that still needed to be tested out.

With 110 SP being deducted, his SP balance was reduced to 908.

At the same time, in the living room, there was a flash of white light, before a figure suddenly appeared in front of him.

The figure was a 190 cm tall young man in his early twenties, handsome with sharp features and deep blue eyes and black hair.

He wore a perfectly fitted black-and-white butler's uniform, his posture straight, with an athletic build.

Looking at the figure in front of him, Michael was even more amazed.

Just by looking at it, it was impossible for one to be able to tell that this was not a human, but a bio human.

While it might be true that the skeletal structure of this bio human was not made from metal, but instead, synthetic fibers, it was still a robot, or at least something that had been produced from a factory.

But even then, it was no different from a human. Not only in terms of appearance, but even the emotional fluctuations.

While he had not yet tested out the emotional fluctuations of the bio human, it was mentioned in the description of this robot.

"Master, do you have any instructions for me?" The young man suddenly spoke to Michael in a calm, subservient tone.

Michael was a little startled, as he was not used to being called Master. To him, it felt a little cringe to be called like this.

So, after clearing his throat, he said, "Don't call me master, instead, just call me by my name, Michael. And, do you have a name? Additionally, you can just speak to me casually, no need for formalities."

"I will obey master's order. As for the name, I don't have one. Maybe you could give me one?" The bio human responded.

Michael thought for a while, before he finally decided on a name.

"From today on, I will be referring to you as Adrian Santos." Michael responded.

But then suddenly, he thought of something very crucial. Looking at Adrian, he looked no different from a human.

So, what about his registration? Something like an ID was very important and so on.

As soon as he thought about this, he received a response from the system.

[The credentials and proof of identification have all been handled during the purchase, with the price included in the final price of the bio human.]

[The finalization of the documents has just been made, as the name was being awaited for.]

Michael was relieved. If he needed to start creating an identity, it would not be an easy thing. It required him to have connections, which he had none at the moment.

"Thank you Michael, for the name." Adrian responded.

Michael nodded in return, before he thought for a moment and asked Adrian to take a seat opposite him.

Looking at the bio human sitting opposite him, Michael still felt incredulous. This was just unbelievable, that the figure sitting across him was actually a bio human.

Still, Michael remembered what he intended to do. So, he began explaining to Adrian about himself and the current situation that he was in.

This way, it would be easy for Adrian to be able to handle most of the things, as long as he understood Michael.

Adrian patiently listened, as Michael went ahead and described his past, present, future plans and so on. As for the people close to him, he also mentioned them.

After a while, Michael had described everything that he needed to tell Adrian about himself.

"Now, I have a task that I would like you to handle." Michael said, anticipation clear in his eyes.

"Please tell me." Adrian responded.
