As he stared at the camera, Lucian's eyes glowed with a fanatic zeal.

"People of Leviathan Quay," he started, his voice full of energy. "For years, this city has sinned and rebelled against God's will and mandate".

"And now, your sins have finally caught up to you. What you're facing right now is God's divine wrath".

"The current invasion by the Omnicore Federation is God's will!"

"This is God's punishment for a city that have strayed too far from the divine blueprint!"

His eyes ignited with a golden glow as his ADE erupted, adding extra gravitas to his words as he growled. "This is God's wrath!"

He took deep breaths to calm down as he looked straight into the camera. "If you don't want to lose your city to the heretics, if you don't want to lose your life and the life of your loved ones, you must repent now and embrace God's will for this city".

"The only way for Leviathan Quay to be liberated and saved is to do what God has always asked, or else this city shall fall". He said in a solemn voice.

"You know what to do," he added with a ruthless gleam in his dual-colored eyes.

"Kill the heretics!"

"Kill all Synths and A.I Constructs!"

"This time, I won't just watch while you cleanse the city alone," he revealed an eerie smile. "This time, I am willing to send my envoys across the city to help cleanse this city".

"Together, we shall cleanse this city of all heretics, of all Synths and A.I Constructs and purify it for the divine mandate".

"Wherever you are, do your part in fulfilling God's mandate for this city".

"Fulfill God's will or die!"

"After, gather in the grand square of Kendall District where I will be holding a mass in a few minutes to preach to you of God's mercies and ways".

"I shall help you repent from your sinful ways".

"This is Leviathan Quay's last chance at repentance, don't squander it".

With that, the live video came to an end.

It was one of the shortest live videos that the Demon of Ozempic made since he targeted Leviathan Quay, but the effects of that single video rippled through the city like a raging wildfire.

The constant harassment by the Extremist Movement over the past week already put the citizens of Leviathan Quay on edge, pushing their endurance to the very limit.

The effects of the harassment by the terrorists was amplified by the army's seeming inability to take care of them.

Though most of the city still didn't know about the Category 3 Beast Tide that was wearing down the Southern Wall of the City, the sudden invasion by the Omnicore Federation made the civilians fall into a state of despair.

This time, there was no official address by the familiar Major Roshfield to appease the citizens, and to the mundane people, this was a clear sign that the army was losing and that they could not handle the situation.

Leviathan Quay was once again panicking.

The civilians realized for the first time that there was every probability that on this day, July 11th Year 714 A.G, Leviathan Quay could fall!

Yesterday, most civilians already succumbed to Lucian's ideological warfare as they finally abandoned morals to hunt down the Synths and A.I Constructs that were in the city.

Today, the madness lessened but the sudden invasion of the Omnicore Federation, the organization ruled by Synths and A.I Constructs painted a story to the civilians of Leviathan Quay that perhaps the terrorists were right.

Perhaps Synths and A.I Constructs were the enemies afterall.

Lucian's final video was the last straw that pushed the boat to sea, and then Leviathan Quay boiled!

With the surviving citizens of the city gathered in underground shock shelters by the army, it was far easier than ever before to target a specific type of people, segregate them and commit genocide.

And due to the ongoing invasion above ground as the Federation Army bombarded their city, keeping most of the soldiers at bay from stopping them, the civilians vent their anger on the Synths and A.I Constructs that they saw in the underground shelters.

Shortly after Lucian's final live video, the underground shelters across the city exploded with untamed violence!

Unfortunate Synths and A.I Constructs across the city that survived yesterday were massacred!

There was nothing the soldiers stationed in the underground shelters could do. Compared to the sheer number of civilians in every shelter, the number of soldiers protecting them was negligible.

This was not the only reason that suppressed the soldiers' influence though.

Shortly after Lucian's final video, the terrorists no longer hid underground as they became unhinged.

Over a thousand terrorists in black paramilitary armor and insectile full-face masks stormed across the city as they invaded the underground shelters with help from insiders and assaulted the soldiers, including every Synth and A.I Construct on sight!

Leviathan Quay was already burning since, but now it reached boiling temperature as chaos engulfed the city.

And so, amid a double-invasion by both the Omnicore Federation and a Category 3 Neon Beast tide, Leviathan Quay faced a third problem in an internal civil war and terrorist attack that ravaged through the city.

Synths and A.I Constructs were slaughtered in cold blood!

The terrorists in black paramilitary armor took it one step further as any Geneform with extensive genetic modification and cosmetic surgery was slaughtered!

It was a bloody jihad.

The underground shelter where Daren was with Sergeant Tyla was also assaulted as the Sergeant made the sensible decision, telling her soldiers to surrender to the terrorists.

They were tied up and forced to watch as the Synths and A.I Constructs in their midst were slaughtered by the terrorists.

In that period, Leviathan Quay became lawless.

It was a complete purge across the shelters in the city as blood flowed like a river across Leviathan Quay's underground.

July 11th was a black day in Leviathan Quay's history.

A few minutes after the proclaimed purification of the city as blood flowed in the wake of Lucian's video, for the first time, Lucian finally made his surface appearance before the city.

The Demon of Ozempic made an appearance in Kendall District, one of the less populated districts in all of Leviathan Quay.

In a part of the district that was deserted as a result of the ongoing battle between the two major faction armies, the Extremist Movement erected an altar where Lucian stood in pure white priest robes alongside his Holy Champions.

Over 50 terrorists in black paramilitary armor that were armed to the teeth were stationed around the altar to protect them.

And finally, citizens of Leviathan Quay started trooping towards Kendall District in numbers to be saved by God.

A few died on the way, swallowed by the shockwaves and the collateral damage of the ongoing war between the 2 armies but the others strived to reach their destination.

As they came in numbers, gathering before the altar, Lucian felt his whole being bubbling energetically with dopamine.

He felt like he was finally fulfilling God's purpose for his life!

With a solemn look on his face, he addressed his congregation. "Citizens of Leviathan Quay, you've made the right decision".

"God's mandate for us is to embrace humanity".

"It is paramount that…"

Inside the booth directly opposite the Priest's chamber in Saint Serena Cathedral, Leon watched the full live video with a livid expression on his face.

When the video finally came to an end, he exhaled through his nose as with narrowed eyes, he once again stared into the net that separated him from the Priest's Chamber with a smoldering intensity in his gaze.

Feeling his glare, the Priest on the other side sighed. "It's not the Shepherd's fault if a few Sheep decide to get lost in the long journey to salvation".

Leon smiled darkly as he looked at the net. "That is your answer to my question?"

He laughed. "Well, nevermind, I no longer need an answer to that question".

Leon stood up and then his ADE erupted.

BZZZ!

"W-what are you doing?" Inside the chamber, the Priest quickly stumbled to his feet as he asked warily.

Leon didn't answer, instead he clenched his right fist as he walked towards the wall separating this booth from the Priest's chambers, then he punched.

BAM!

The raw force of Leon's punch made the wall vibrate violently, but it didn't succumb to the force and shatter.

Leon looked at his fist then at the wall. "As expected, it's reinforced".

He smirked as he looked at the net. "Now tell me, why would a Priest of such a self-proclaimed peace-loving church have a reinforced wall separating him from believers who want to confess?"

"Tell me, what are you scared of?"

Leon dipped his right hand into his pocket, then he pulled out a metallic toy-shaped glove.

BZZZ!

His grayish white ADE erupted again, engulfing the toy.

Miniaturization!

The metallic toy-shaped glove instantly expanded, turning into a VX-09 Emberfist Gauntlet!

Enhance!

Leon's grayish white ADE aggressively converged around the gauntlet, augmenting its power as the air around it distorted.

"Thomas Riley!" The Priest called loudly, alarmed. "What do you think you're doing? This is the church of God!"

"God?" Leon tilted his head as he stared into the net. "The God whose so-called believers are currently committing genocide in this city?"

"Heh," he grinned, his eyes gleaming with an air of provocation. "If your God has a problem with me, tell him to come settle his scores with me!"

He took a step forward, then he punched at the wall with the gauntlet.

BOOM!

The wall crumbled instantly, then Leon stepped into the Priest's chamber.

Instantly, Ascended servers of the Cathedral who finally detected the commotion rushed inside the Priest's chamber but one glare from Leon stopped all of them in their tracks.

They were all F Rank Ascended and when subjected to the force of that glare, they all folded as they stared in horror.

Seeing this, the Priest quickly raised both his hands up in surrender with a shocked look on his face.

In the end, he exhaled in resignation and looked at his servers. "Don't worry, go, I'll be fine". He said.

The servers alternated their gazes between the Priest and the infamous Thomas Riley with uncertain expressions on their faces, but then they obeyed and stepped out of the chamber.

Leon walked towards the Priest's chair and turned it around, arrogantly sitting on it as he stared up at the Priest.

To him, courtesy time was long gone the moment Lucian made his final live video to push this city further into despair.

Now, it was time to get answers by force.

Seated on the Priest's chair, Leon stared at the Priest arrogantly and demanded. "Tell me everything you know about Lucian".

The Priest's gaze flickered hesitantly.

"Now". Leon added in a cold, calm voice that made the Priest shiver.

The Priest exhaled again as his shoulders drooped, then he finally opened his mouth and spilled everything that he knew about Lucian before he became the Demon of Ozempic.
