' My body did seem to scare her.' He remembered her reaction in passing, back when she had tried to take over his body but even then, another issue still stood.
He had no idea how he was even able to do that back then, all he'd really done was nothing and she ran out out of her own accord.
' Whatever it was that pushed her into such a state really isn't all that reliable since I know less regarding it than my prior transmigrations.' Lucius scratched his head, thinking to himself that supernatural matters were more harder than he expected them to be.
He let out a sigh before taking off his amulet, he then opened the drawer beside his bed and tossed it inside, with a key placed atop his drawer, he locked the said drawer.
Now this way, he felt relieved since he didn't have to worry about the female ghost trying to take over his body, nor did he need to worry about her getting too far away.
There was the possiblity of her breaking out of the drawer but, Lucius believed that he would be able to wake up if she tried to, giving him ample time to deal with, that was if he could actually do so.

Lucius slept through the night, waking up the next day.
He got out of bed like usual, maybe it was due to him being alert all night, he woke up earlier than usual, brushed his teeth, and took a bath before going to get dressed.
" Young master, your awake." Su stood at his door, not expecting him to have woken up before her.
" Please forgive me for not arriving sooner." She hurriedly bowed, her body trembling nervously. It was a maids duty to always be prepared before their master, her failing to attend to her duties could be said to be a grievous failure on her part.
" It's alright." He replied in a reserved manner.
' If anyone's to blame, it should be her.' Lucius glanced at his drawer just after stepping out of his dresser.
He walked up to his drawer, unlocked the compartment the amulet had been locked in, before retrieving it.
' Good, she's still here.' Lucius felt glad to see that the amulet was still permeating a visible black energy after testing it out with his ability.
He wore the amulet before turning towards Su. " I was thinking of skipping breakfast this morning and heading directly to the library."
" T-Thats a wonderful thought young master but I think that wouldn't be... advisable." Su replied, careful when picking her words so as not to displease him unintentionally.
" Oh? And why is that?" He said, whole staring at his reflection in the mirror. His hands reached for his collar to adjust it slightly, he then used his thumb to seamlessly apply some moisturizer to his lips.
Today was particularly cold so he saw it fit to prepare in order rather than risk having chapped lips.
" The Lord and your half brother have returned to the mansion early this morning and he requested for everyone in the family to be there at breakfast."
' Father's personally calling for a meal?' Lucius was a bit taken aback.
' Is there something important he'd like to say, or is he worried the others won't show up because of it's a gathering prepared just for Leo.
' Do they dislike him that much that they would openly refuse to attend?' Lucius thought to himself but chuckled helplessly inwardly right after. ' What am I saying... I think that's the most believable reason for him to call for this breakfast personally.'
" Well, since it's my dear father that's taking up the opportunity to call us all together." Lucius said with a snicker, twirling around to face Su.
" How can I possibly refuse." He added.
He then walked through his room, passing by Su and heading towards the door. " Come now, it's best not to keep him waiting."
' I'd rather not taste his wrath this early in the morning.'
Su secretly let out a sigh of relief and followed after him. She had been worried that he would've refused when he heard that the gathering had been ordained because of his half brother but fortunately she was wrong.
' He's practically not bothered by it.' Su thought to herself as she walked a few paces behind him. Leo was the one person she was sure that just mentioning his name would've ruined her young masters mood, causing him to turn on her.
' Young master really has changed...' Su said to herself, her gaze etched on his back. ' I believed that he would eventually return to his old ways in a few days, but if he's not the least bothered by even this then.... Is it really true.'
' Is young master Lucius truly changing for the better or is this another one of his farces.' She bit her lower lip at the latter part of her sentence.
Most knew his as someone who seldom interacted with others but as his personal maid, Su got a front row seat to who he truly was. Sure he was seclusive and cruel but she also knew that he was cunning as well.

After a quiet walk through the mansions halls, Lucius arrived at the dinning hall, with both hands, he pushed open the doors simultaneously.
The moment he stepped in, all eyes shifted towards him. Lucius noticed that the only ones who'd made it to the hall besides some servants, were his father and half brother, Leo.
" Good morning father, Leo." Lucius promptly offered his greetings without batting an eye.
' Guess I was right... It's gonna take awhile before the others get here.' Lucius sighed inwardly before making his way to the dinning table, calmly pulling back a seat next to Leo.
" Lucius? your here earlier than expected." Lancelot's brows raised ever so slightly, a hint of confusion in his voice.
He knew his son for being unruly and disobedient yet now he had arrived before the others.
" Broth–Lucius." Leo almost got up from his seat when he saw Lucius approach him.
He expected him to outright ask for his seat but instead, the man had actually decided to seat right next to him instead.
Leo's expression looked uneasy, as if he was trying to figure out just what cruel thoughts this brother of his had this time. Lucius on the other hand wasn't displeased when viewed so openly, instead leaned back into his chair.
' Let's try to be reserved this time around. It's obvious that the both of them won't believe that I've changed in such a small amount of time.' Recalling what had happened during his last meeting with his father, Lucius didn't opt to use this opportunity to try and get closer with his father nor his brother.
He waited until the next person arrived.
" Lucius? You're up so early." His mother muttered in surprise, the last person she expected to see at the moment was him, everyone was aware of his relationship with Leo and yet here he was.
Lancelot who had been paying attention to his wife's facial gestures was once again, confused when he didn't notice any oddities in her expression that could explain that his arrival was nothing but a planned occurrence.
" Well, since father made it clear that he wanted all of us together, I decided it was best to skip my impromptu trip to the library."
" You've been to the library?" This time, it was Leo's turn to display his disbelief.
Wasn't his brother more adept at torturing the weak instead, so how come he'd actually set foot in the library? Leo thought to himself.
" Is something wrong if I did?" Lucius gave him a silent look.
" No no no, of course not, I just never thought that you'd have such an interest." Leo replied with a stiff smile on his face.
' You say it's just an interest yet I'm sure everyone is far more worried regarding what sort of fiendish ideas you're concocting inside that rotten head of your's.' Leo said thought to himself, the air around him filled with unease.
" Well I won't hold it against you, after all, I developed the interest not too long ago." Lucius let out a helpless sigh. " If only I'd developed it sooner, perhaps there would've been a lot of things I would've known by now." Lucius's expression shifted into one filled with listless regret.
The family had to wait a bit more before Lily and Lavender arrived, only when they did, did the meal commence.
Of course, the atmosphere around the table was as tense as ever if not unpleasant.
' Those two sure aren't doing anything to hide their true feelings.' Lucius took a bite of his salad dressing while subtly glancing at Lavender and Lily who's aura could be said to be a personification of their displeasure.
' At least mom's thoughts are harder to decipher, but I'm sure Dad feels like she's unhappy as well.'
' For a lovely family of 6, we sure don't act the part.' Lucius sighed out loud.
" Is something the matter son." Lady Hana asked Lucius. Her attention shifting towards him.
