"Heh, running quite fast, aren't you?"
The corners of Qin Mu's lips curved into a freezing smile as he waved his hand generally. Some of the flying swords performed a mid-air reversal, meaning a complete turn with no apparent trajectory.
The process of slowing down, halting, and speeding up again happened unseen, as if the swords have avoided the rules of physics altogether.
For the Myriad Sword Pavilion disciples, it was a miraculous sight to behold.
"Mental power is still power." exclaimed One of them.
"If it is power, it must obey Newton. It needs to decelerate and restart!"
"Such a turn is simply... a miracle!"
"I'm numb," shouted Zhang Chengwu, looking towards the sky. "Newton's coffin lid can't be held down anymore! Pavilion Master is awesome! This dominion power is enough for a lifetime of study on my part!"
Qin Mu's current mental strength was at the sixth grade of the Grandmaster level, which innately offered a basic attack of six million.
However, with the enhancement offered by the legendary Three Thousand Dragon Swords cultivation skill, this increased exponentially by a factor of ten. The attack of a sword strike equaled sixty million.
What was even more frightening was the Silver Dragon Sword Casket, a legendary item of the Heavenly Sword Sect. It could gather the entirety of a Dominator's Dao mental powers and release them all at once on the flying swords.
A regular sword casket could gather a maximum of three hundred Dao mental powers, while the Silver Dragon Sword Casket could gather a maximum of three thousand.
The combined mind power of Qin Mu at the moment was already over one hundred Dao. This meant that each of the hundred flying swords in front of him would exert a combat strength close to ten billion.
Great strength makes bricks fly. Even an iron lump, when propelled by such overwhelming control, moves faster than the human eye can capture.
This was the true heritage of the Heavenly Sword Sect. In their eyes, those who could not master a legendary technique were not proper successors; they were useless. But for a true successor, their combat power would inevitably shatter the boundaries of their realm.
In a split second, a flying sword slashed diagonally towards Lu Tian's face.
"Dark Abyss Shield!"
Lu Tian had no time to think. He let his head fall backward in a desperate retreat and concentrated his Domain into a tight inch of protection in front of him.
Rip!
The Dark Abyss Shield was torn apart instantaneously. There were some sword scars engraved on Lu Tian's chest.
"Puff!" A mouthful of blood erupted from his mouth as bright red blood gushed from Lu Tian's mouth. His Domain skills and Night God battle robes could not protect him from even casual slashes.
"Star Rank Nine?!" Lu Tian shouted in shock through the blood. "No... you have the combat power of a Star Rank Peak!"
Realization flashed before him. "You mean you really acquired the inheritance of the Heavenly Sword Sect in just one day?"
"Hiss? You actually know about the Heavenly Sword Sect?"
He paused, a cold curiosity in his eyes. "To wield Domain combat methods, you must have secured yourself an outstanding Star Rank cultivation technique."
Rumor had it that Lu Tian had excavated an ancient ruin alone. Given his strength, it was impossible for him to have plundered everything within.
The importance of such ruins was evident; at the Grandmaster realm, Qin Mu could already stand undefeated against multiple Star Rank Great Grandmasters.
"Qin Mu, don't be so arrogant!" Lu Tian spat fiercely at Qin Mu. "No matter how mighty the Heavenly Sword Sect was, it has long since fallen. You don't know how enormous this star sea is, or just how powerful the great ones are."
He coughed up more blood, his face a miserable mask of defiance. "Why do you think Wu Po Xing, with his nine layered Domain, dares not touch the Dragon's Nest?"
"It is not because the Star Rank dragons within are the strongest, but because the deepest part holds the aura of Galaxy level dragons and existences even more terrifying than that!"
Lu Tian let out a harsh, wet laugh, "In Jiang Cheng's Dragon's Nest, I've already placed nuclear bombs! If you think about harming even one strand of hair on my body, I'll explode the bombs, and all of us will die together!"
"Don't think about the speed of your flying swords, since they are not faster than the death-state trigger!"
"Be cautious. It may have a smart system that uses quantum communication levels—that's hard to shield," whispered Qin Mu, as he was approached by Bai Qingyan.
Such a strong dragon at the Galaxy level? This news was a surprise for Qin Mu. Looking at it rationally, a Galaxy level creature was one that could roam the sea of stars. A normal planet would never give rise to a Galaxy-level creature.
Dragon Star was an extraordinary planet, though. It was a place where the Heavenly Sword Sect once stood. It was clear that the ancient era of the planet knew about strong beings.
"Cough. Qin Mu! I have no time to squander," Lu Tian growled, spitting out the blood in his mouth. "You have a family, but I have no one. The barefoot do not fear those wearing shoes. Today, if you don't hand over the Heavenly Sword Sect legacy, I will detonate the bombs!"
The audience at the Myriad Sword Pavilion could not help but go into a rage
"You still dare demand the legacy?!" cursed Zhang Chengwu. "You old dog, you're really pushing your luck!"
Bai Qingyan's brows furrowed. "You are Lu Tian! Your crimes are worthy of death, but for the sake of the city, we can spare your life for the time being. You must be imprisoned by the Alliance,"
Qin Mu looked at Bai Qingyan. "Are you trying to tell me how to do things?"
"Pavilion Master," Bai Qingyan gazed at him dazedly, "isn't that the best way?"
"Of course not!"
Qin Mu pointed a finger at the sky. A hundred silver lights shot out at the same time.
BOOM
The hundred flying swords fell. Puff, puff, puff. Lu Tian was instantly skewered and pinned to the ground like a giant porcupine.
"You... You.?!?"
Lu Tian's heart pierced by the spear, yet he remained alive. His eyes were fixed in amazement because he could not understand why Qin Mu had attacked him.
"Too much nonsense," Qin Mu said, clenching his hand.
Bang!
The hundred swords twisted violently in an execution. A blood mist cloud, which held pieces of the Night God battle armor, erupted outwards.
"Just a Dragon's Nest? What business do I have with it?" Qin Mu sneered.
"I could have let you die off so easily, but you thought you were so special."
Threats? No way would Qin Mu fall for them.
Beside him, Bai Qingyan was totally dumbfounded. Suddenly, her intelligent system was beeping constantly. She looked at the screen, almost fainted, her mind went blank.
"The nuclear bombs," she whispered dazedly. "They just exploded in the Jiangcheng Dragon's Nest."
