What palpable bloodlust.
I may not be able to see him, but I can sense him. However, even if know where he is, I can't see the exact moves he makes.
Hm, he's rushing in straight towards me. How predictable.
"<Lethargy>," I chanted as he closed in, before raising my left hand and firing out a Pulse Bullet as I sensed him come to a stop.
A sharp cry rang out as the Pulse Bullet hit him, I'm not sure where it struck, but it certainly sounds like it caused him some pain.
"H-How the hell can you see m-...?!" He began, before trailing off as I flung Desecrator out towards him with a sharp flick of my wrist.
A deafening clang rang out as he presumably blocked it with his remaining blade, the top half of the blade turning visible as it snapped off and hit the floor, skidding away.
"<Return>," I chanted as I sensed him racing towards me again, my blade zipping back towards me.
I grabbed the handle as the blade got within my reach, before swiftly springing back as I sensed him close in on me, before chanting...
"<Command: Deactivate Your Skill>."
His eyes widened as he suddenly turned visible, before I lunged forward and struck the side of his head with the blade of my blade, a thunk echoing out as a dazed look appeared on his face.
He began to shakily raise his left arm, before yelling sharply as I plunged my blade into his forearm, shuddering in agony as I pulled it out with a sharp twist.
He let out a gasping cry of pain, blood gushing out before I swiftly reached out and clamped my hand around the stab wound with my left hand.
I tightened and twisted my grip, his body stiffening and seizing up as he let out an agonized yell of pain.
"N-No, wait...!"
"<Mana Pulse>."
An excruciating scream of agony echoed across the arena as his left arm convulsed sharply, his forearm at an angle as his elbow got dislocated, blood streaming down as his several tears ripped open across his skin.
I sheathed Desecrator and stepped towards him as I cracked my knuckles, his eyes widening as I drew back my right fist.
He stumbled back as I drove my fist forward, slamming it square on the middle of his nose and breaking it, blood gushing out and streaming down, before he wheezed as I grabbed his shoulder and pulled him towards me while driving my knee up, which slammed into his stomach, knocking the wind out of him.
He keeled over and collapsed onto his knees, coughing sharply, before tensing as I grabbed his hair with my left hand and pulled him up, meeting his gaze before punching him in the face again.
His head jerked across to the right as my fist slammed against the left side of his face, blood splattering across the floor of the arena, before I struck the same spot again, his cheek getting deeply bruised and starting to swell up.
"Maybe if I smash up your face beyond recognition, you'll be less of a creep with women. Or maybe not. Either way, it's worth a try," I remarked, before whipping the back of my fist out, striking his broken nose as tears began streaming down his face.
"Sh-Shtop...," He uttered shakily, before grunting weakly as I struck the side of his face again, a couple of teeth flying out of his mouth and hitting the floor with a clatter.
"Hm, I can't quite understand you. Maybe you should try speaking more clearly," I replied, before driving my arm down and slamming his face against the floor of the arena, streaks of blood splattering out around his head across the floor.
"Garghh, pleeash shtob...," He blubbered incoherently, before I lifted his head up to get a look.
"No, I still can't understand you. Ah, I know. I'll try crushing your balls next, that's the most logical choice," I responded, swinging him up and dropping him onto his back, a thud echoing out as he bounced slightly upon impact.
"W-Wai...," He mumbled as I approached his crotch and lifted my right foot up, before blurting out in desperation as I began to drove my foot down, "I-I gib ub!"
He suddenly vanished from sight, a loud thud ringing out as my foot slammed onto the floor, the arena rumbling slightly, before I spotted him reappear outside the arena.
He let out an incoherent mutter, his eyelids fluttering before he slumped against the floor as he lost consciousness. His face was swollen and bloodied, his arms in bloody tatters.
Hm, that was significantly easier than I thought.
I assumed he would give me at least a little bit more of a challenge. He was pretty fast, but his unrefined, sloppy movements meant he had several easy openings to exploit.
I stepped off the arena as the barrier faded, before glancing to my left as Isla teleported next to me with a frown.
"Don't you think you went a bit too far? Look at him, he looks like roadkill," She remarked, letting out a strained sigh.
"Hm? I'm afraid I don't understand. The more traumatizing this experience ends up being for him, the more likely is it that he'll keep his word and stay away. It was the most logical course of action. If anything...it wasn't enough," I responded objectively.
"Don't be too hard on him, Guildmaster, he's basically a different person in this state," Chimed in Aria, as she leapt down off the bleachers and bounded over with a wry smile.
"Yeah, that isn't a valid excuse," Frowned Isla in exasperation, as I approached Aria.
"Hm? What's up, Kai?" She asked me, before I reached out and patted her head.
"Uh, are you sure he's a different person? Seems the same to me," Muttered Isla, a bemused look on her face.
"Come on, people are watching, not here," Mumbled Aria bashfully.
