I can keep up with his movements, I should be able to react to them...but Kai's body feels way too different to mine, I feel like I'm all lopsided or something.

I-I have to keep fighting, I can't let Kai fight that Monster by himself in this predicament, I need to-...

I stiffened as I saw the Dragon lift Kai, in my body, up by the throat, with Luxuria and Invidia nowhere in sight.

<Here goes>

Uh, yes, request accepted!

What the...?

I felt my consciousness fade into the background, no longer able to move Kai's body, instead feeling like I was just watching through his eyes, like a VR display or something.

Is this...?

Point-of-View: Ai

"Now, then...<Enrage>," I chanted, as control of Kai's body was transferred to me.

When the swap happened, a new hidden function in the Sinner System unlocked, called Transfer.

I can take temporary control of this body, with permission from Kai-...or in this case, Ariella...-for five minutes at a time.

Hm, fascinating, so this is what it feels like to have physical form. What curious sensations I-...no, I have more pressing matters to attend to, I should set that aside for now.

While I have no prior experience in possessing a physical form, I do have years worth of data from Kai's thoughts, actions and muscle memory, I shall make use of them to move his body.

"<Return>," I chanted as I unleashed Enrage, mimicking Kai's muscle memory to enter the eerily calm state triggered by the Skill, before catching Desecrator as it got within my grasp.

"What? Another spike in Aura? How is this possible? I do not unders-...," Began the Dragon.

"<Command: Let Go of Him>."

As the Dragon suddenly lost his grasp over Kai's throat, Kai sprang back and fired out a concentrated, pressurized blast of Negative Energy, striking the Dragon's stomach, whose feet skidded several meters back across the ground, a trickle of blood running down the corner of his mouth.

Kai must have been charging that up covertly to try and break free of the Dragon's grasp, I must make use of this opening.

I shot forward at full speed, the Dragon's gaze shifting this way before he fired out a rapid blast of lightning at me.

I ducked under it, before unleashing Spite, Aphrodisia and Lethargy, the Dragon stumbling as the debuffs disoriented him.

Before he could regain his bearings, I lunged forward and swung Desecrator across as the Dragon shakily swiped his claws at my head, his eyes widening as the blade sliced through the middle of his forearm, severing it.

Blood sprayed out as the severed half of his forearm plummeted and hit the ground, before he snarled and snapped his jaws open, an alarming mass of lightning charging up in his mouth.

"<Drain>," I chanted as I sprang back, swallowing up the lightning as he unleashed it in a fierce blast, before Kai sprang up behind him and struck him with a devastating burst of Negative Energy.

"Don't tell me you forgot that I'm here," Remarked Kai, before flying up and blasting down a volley of Negative Energy projectiles down at the Dragon.

The Dragon raced away rapidly, evading the attacks as he seared the stump of his right arm shut with a burst of lightning, grimacing as I chased after him, steadily closing the gap.

Kai shifted his aim and fired several blasts at Negative Energy in front of the Dragon, forcing him to halt and letting me catch up to him.

The Dragon spun around, before I ducked as he fired out a rapid bolt of lightning at my head, narrowly evading it before lunging forward and unfurling a rapid slash across at his right side, inflicting a shallow gash as he twisted his body across, before I suddenly fell over as he whipped his tail and struck my leg, knocking me over.

Moving a body is trickier than I expected, despite the data.

While I am moving a bit more effectively that Ariella was able to, and I'm also able to use Kai's Skills, I'm definitely not moving as well as he does.

I believe my movements are too straightforward...the Dragon is definitely starting to adapt to my speed.

"Now, die!" Snarled the Dragon, before stiffening as Kai came swooping down towards him with a blade of Negative Energy, driving it down towards the Dragon's head.

The Dragon spun around, grabbing Kai's arm and flinging him away with a snarl.

I used the opportunity to spring back onto the feet, the Dragon starting to back away before I fired a burst of Negative Energy at him, hitting his chest and knocking him off-balance, before I lunged forward, manifesting Drain and consuming some of the lightning over his torso, before I slammed my left palm onto his solar plexus, unleashing a Mana Pulse, a startled gasp of pain ringing out.

The lightning around his body sharply intensified, before erupting in a devastating electric blast, Kai's body stiffening up as I got electrocuted and blown away, the Dragon raising his hand towards his staff, which flew towards him rapidly.

He grabbed it with his left hand as it got within his reach, spinning it around with a dark look in his eyes.

"It isn't glowing anymore, which means you can't use that Shuffle ability again, can you?" Called out Kai tauntingly.

Based on the Dragon's reaction, Kai's assessment is accurate.

"So, you noticed, very clever, human. How bothersome. No matter, it will not make a difference...I shall kill you nonetheless."
