Not good, there's less than three minutes left with Descent, and mere seconds before my temporary control over Kai's body reaches its time limit.

Fortunately, the latter should not be an issue...

<Requesting Extension of Temporary Transfer of Control>

Ariella, quickly!

"Oh, uh...right, request accepted!" She exclaimed in response.

Good, that gives me another five minutes.

I grimaced as I lifted my gaze, right as the Dragon plunged his claws through the right side of Kai's chest, charging up lightning in his mouth.

I spread out my wings and shot up into the air, firing out a rapid blast of Negative Energy, hitting the Dragon's back and eliciting a startled yelp from him, the lightning in his mouth fading, his gaze starting to shift back towards me.

Kai gritted his teeth and rapidly reached out with his right hand, clamping around the left side of the Dragon's face before a deafening roar of pain rang out as Kai jammed his thumb into the Dragon's left eye, a sharp squelch ringing out.

The Dragon whipped his arm across and flung Kai away before spinning around towards me, blood streaming down the side of his face from his crushed left eye, before he grabbed his staff, which he'd wedged into the base of his left wing, before swinging it across at my head as I closed in.

I blocked the swing with Desecrator, his weapon slamming against the side of the blade, before driving my left hand towards him, intending to strike him with another Mana Pulse.

Before my hand could reach him, his tail shot up and wrapped around my forearm, a sharp crunch ringing out as he broke my arm with a violent twist, before I quickly raised Desecrator in front of myself defensively as he fired out a fierce blast of lightning from his mouth.

The blast struck the blade, the force upon impact sending me hurtling down towards the ground, my vision blurring as my back slammed onto the fleshy mass below, the Dragon swooping down towards me with immense speed.

He unleashed a rapid, piercing burst of lightning towards me from the stump left around his right arm, which I narrowly evaded as I rolled out of the way, a strong odor bursting out as his attack struck the ground and drilled through, charring it black.

I ducked as he swung his staff across at me, before he zipped up with a swift flap of his wings as I slashed at his stomach with Desecrator, evading the attack before swinging his foot out towards my head.

I sprang back right in the nick of time, evading his kick before firing out a blast of Negative Energy at him, which he canceled out as he unleashed a rapid bolt of lightning, flying up higher into the air before swooping down towards me.

He suddenly flung his staff straight towards me, which I narrowly deflected with Desecrator, before starting to slash at him as he closed in, his left arm shooting out and grabbing my wrist before the blade could reach him.

I began to drive my left hand towards his solar plexus, before a bright electric flash burst out, followed by a sharp pain across my chest as I found myself shooting back through the air at a breakneck speed.

A gasp rang out as my back slammed onto the wall behind me, the impact rattling my bones and knocking the wind out of me.

I tried to move as he came charging towards me, before collapsing onto my knees as my legs wobbled shakily...this is dire, I can't muster any strength, and-...

Suddenly, a rapid, slashing wave of Negative Energy came zipping through with immense speed, slicing through the space between me and Dragon as he closed in on me, forcing him to come to a halt.

He ducked as a tendril of Negative Energy came whipping across the air towards his head, as Kai came charging towards him with an immense mass of Negative Energy charged in his right hand.

Kai drove the charged up energy towards the Dragon as he closed in, the Dragon springing back to evade it.

Kai turned across and fired the Negative Energy in a powerful blast, which grazed the Dragon's right calf as he sprang up with his legs wide, the blast shredding off a few scales and drawing out trickled of blood, before the Dragon lunged towards Kai with a powerful flap of his wings, lightning erupting around his left fist as he drove it forward with a roar of exertion.

Kai sprang back and crossed his arms in front of himself, wrapping Negative Energy around his forearms, the Dragon's fist slamming onto his arms and launching him straight back towards me, his back crashing onto me and pushing me against the fleshy wall behind me...right as both our bodies reached the time limit with Descent.

The Demonic features began to recede, the power boost subsiding...that's it for Descent, and Enrage will barely last another two minutes, this isn't good.

Despite being weakened from the debuffs I hit him with, the Dragon managed to hold his own against us.

And now that we're weaker...

"I see, that increase in power was only temporary. Good, that should save me some time and effort. There should still be around five minutes before you switch back to your own bodies, I shall kill the both of you well before then," Growled the Dragon, his staff flying back towards him as he held out his left hand, catching it as it got within his grasp.

"Aria, how long till you can use Command again?" Kai muttered under his breath, as he slowly got back onto his feet.

"Enrage will wear off in less than two minutes. I can use Command about ten seconds after that. And I'm Ai," I replied, as I stood up and stepped out beside him.

"Wha...? How-...no, I'll ask later. Here he comes...!" Exclaimed Kai, forming a blade of Negative Energy in his right hand as the Dragon shot towards us...
