"This is pretty exciting, huh? I wonder what the other X-Aces are like?" Mused Aria, a look of anticipation on her face as we headed into the Union building.

Today's the 1st of November, 2169, around midday. Last night, Charlotte had messaged me to let me know what time to come to the Union to meet the other X-Aces.

On paper, this seems pretty unnecessary, there's no real reason to meet them...but I'm definitely curious. Among the three X-Aces I haven't met yet, two of them are also Arcane Hunters.

Well, we probably won't get to see their abilities in action, it's not like they're here to fight...hm, or maybe they are, there's no telling until we actually meet them.

Anyway, as Aria and I headed into the Guild, one of the Union's staff led us down to the basement, much to my surprise.

The other X-Aces visiting Sanctuary Theta isn't known to the public, so maybe this is just a measure to keep it under wraps?

Huh, looks like we're being led to the room where I trained with Enrage a while back.

Well, this is pretty promising, it could mean that at least one of them wants to spar against us, and I'm all for that.

"Ah, welcome, you two," Charlotte greeted us with a smile, as we stepped inside.

The other five X-Aces were already there, three of them staring at us curiously. Jin Suzuki, the Ranger with the Wind Attribute who'd helped fight the Archdemon Zeifas, gave us a polite nod, while Beatriz Oliviera, the Arcane Hunter who titled herself the Musician, waved with a grin.

"Hope we didn't keep you waiting too long," I replied, as I glanced at the other three curiously.

They're staring at Aria and I, seems they're just as curious about us too, guess that's to be expected. Also, one of them is in full gear, while the rest were wearing regular clothes.

"No, you're right on time, actually. Now, let me introduce everyone. First, to our guests, these two are Sanctuary Theta's X-Aces, Kaivel Intrix, The Sinner, and Ariella Velle, a Brawler," Introduced Charlotte with a smile.

"Hello, I'm Iseul Park, from Sanctuary Zeta," One of them responded politely, a laidback smile on her face.

She had long hair that was dyed an electric blue and went halfway down her back, with streaky, electric yellow highlights.

She had bright yellow eyes, a fair complexion, and was a bit on the shorter side, with a slender figure.

Hm, I'm also getting a slight whiff of booze from her, smells like she's had a few drinks. She does look kinda tipsy, now that I take a closer look at her face.

Woah, she's got a pretty crazy amount of Mana, even more than I do. And her physical stats are higher than most Aces.

"Hm, your Auras don't look all that remarkable at first glance, but based on what I've heard, you've both got the ability to boost your power, right?" Remarked one of the others, staring at us with an intrigued look on his face, before adding, "Oh, and I'm Jaden Xeno, Sanctuary Alpha."

He had longish hair, the hair on the front of his head was black, while the rest was white. His black hair was straight and silky, falling over forehead, while his white hair was pushed back, wild and messy. He had fairly heavy black stubble on his face, and his eyebrows are black too.

His eyes were fascinating, almost fully white except for his pupils, which were black...his irises were almost indistinguishable from the whites of his eyes. He had a light brown complexion, and was a bit on the taller side, with an agile build.

He's an Arcane Hunter known as the Poltergeist, and he's considered to be the strongest Hunter in the world, though that probably isn't the case anymore.

His Agility is insanely high, so is his Perception. His MP isn't anything to scoff at either. It's true, as far as base stats go, he's the strongest.

I have to wonder though, how is it that Aria is the only Hunter who's figured out how to create a power boosting Skill?

There are plenty of Hunters who've created their own original Skills and Spells, but none created any such ability that boosts their power.

Hm, there's only one explanation...my girlfriend's something of a prodigy.

Alright, that just leaves one...

"Hi, I'm Aarav Gill, Sanctuary Eta. Let's break the ice...knock, knock," He remarked, a lighthearted grin on his face.

Uh...

"Who's there?" Aria played along in bemusement.

"Sti-...actually, doing this joke to a girl feels kinda icky. You ask instead," He responded as he glanced at me, before repeating, "Knock, knock."

Seriously? Alright, fine, I suppose I might as well humor him.

"Who's there?"

"Stigma."

"Stigma who?"

"Stigma balls in your mouth!" He exclaimed, before bursting out into laughter, as Jin let out an exasperated sigh...right, they're both from the same Sanctuary, so they probably know each other fairly well.

As for that joke, I hate to say it, but that was actually pretty funny.

"I'll admit, that wasn't half-bad," I replied with a wry smile.

"Heh, you like it? It's a spin on that retro joke, ligma balls," He chuckled, looking pretty pleased with himself.

He had dark brown hair tied up in a messy manbun, he'd trimmed his facial hair in a neat goatee that extended out across his jawline and curved up slightly towards his earlobes.

He had dark red eyes, a dark complexion, and he was towering in height, with a strong, muscular build.
