"Tell me, do you plan on going all out against me?" Inquired Beatriz, as we stepped onto the arena.

"No, I don't. Hope you're not offended by that, I want to save my full power for my match against Jaden," I replied with an apologetic smile.

"It's cool, I get it. Guess I'll just have to try and force you to go all-out," She smirked, as the countdown began.

"Bring it on," I responded, as I cracked my knuckles and prepared myself.

Here we go...

Four.

Three!

Two!

ONE!!!

"[Blaze Ignition: Flare]!" I exclaimed, an intense burst of heat erupting around me as my entire body shone with a bright, fiery glow, the air around me shimmering.

Crimson flames erupted around my gauntlets as I channeled Mana into them, immense heat swirling around me, my gaze locked onto my opponent as I waited for her to make the first move.

She's got the High Elemental Resistance Skill...while my flames will only be half as effective against her as they otherwise would be, at least she isn't immune.

"[Hypersonic Screech]!" She exclaimed, a rapid, shimmering wave of intense, ringing sound shooting out towards me.

I concentrated Negative Energy below the soles of my feet, launching myself up into the air as I unleashed the compressed energy, evading the wave of sound before she launched herself up towards me, her blade vibrating with a slight, high-pitched ringing.

As she closed in on me, I raised my right arm off to the side and unleashed a sharp burst of Negative Energy, rapidly propelling myself to the left as she swung her blade down, an intense, ringing burst of sound erupting from the blade.

I blasted myself straight back towards her with a pressurized burst of Negative Energy from behind me, drawing back my right fist and driving it towards her right side as I closed in on her.

"[Hypersonic Boom]...oof!" She exclaimed, a dazing eruption of sound bursting out around her right as my fist slammed onto the right side of her face, a blast of crimson flames enhanced by the explosive effect of Blaze Ignition erupting simultaneously upon impact, her head jerking across before she plunged down towards the floor of the arena as I got sent hurtling back through the air.

As she hit the floor with a thud, her right cheek burnt and swollen, I fired out a blast of Negative Energy behind myself to bring myself to a halt, before plummeting down and landing on the arena, my feet hitting the floor with a thud.

I stumbled back slightly before shaking my head, my ears ringing.

A trickle of blood ran down the right corner of Beatriz's mouth as her cheek swelled up, before she swung her blade across in my direction as it began vibrating rapidly, unleashing a burst of deafening sound waves shooting towards me.

I unleashed a massive blast of Negative Energy mixed with crimson flames, striking the floor of the arena with a deafening crash, drowning out most of the noise of her attack, before my legs wobbled slightly as the remnant of her attack hit me, my vision blurring and spinning slightly.

As a cloud of dust rose up around the spot I'd blasted, Beatriz came zipping through the right of the dust cloud with a burst of sound, before launching herself straight towards me with a high-pitched blast of noise, whipping her blade across at my left side.

I spun across and swung my palms towards each other, slamming them against either side of the flat of her blade, my head spinning as intense sonic waves burst out of her blade, before I gritted my teeth and flung her away, shaking my head.

Okay, this sucks...regular physical damage, I can deal with, but these sound attacks are really annoying.

Even though the damage heals in a matter of seconds thanks to my Super Regeneration, it's still really unpleasant to deal with.

I don't want this fight to drag on any longer than it needs to, I'm ending this now!

As she began to rush in towards me again, she came to a halt and lifted her gaze as I launched myself straight up into the air with a blast of Negative Energy from the bottom of my feet, letting out a slow exhale as she began to take aim at me...

"[Descent]."

Her eyes widened in surprise as an intense burst of Negative Energy erupted and swirled around me, my wings, tail and horns extending out as my teeth and nails narrowed and sharpened, my nails turning black, along with the whites of my eyes.

I swerved across the air as she fired out a rapid, screeching burst of noise towards me, ripples erupting across the barrier as her attack collided against it, before I tilted my body down, drawing back my fist before unleashing a powerful flap of my wings along with a pressurized burst of Negative Energy from my feet.

An powerful gust of wind exploded out behind me as I swooped down towards her with immense speed, flames and Negative Energy swirling around my right fist.

As I closed in on her in the blink of an eye, I clenched my fist and gritted my teeth, before driving my fist down towards her head, unleashing a burst of Negative Energy from my elbow to propel my fist with a sharp burst of speed.

Right as my knuckles began to collide against her forehead, she vanished from sight, my fist plunging down and slamming against the floor of the arena, flames and Negative Energy erupting out.

A devastating shockwave burst out upon impact as the arena shattered to pieces and sunk into a deep crater, the entire stadium rumbling violently.

Cracks spread out across the ground outside of the barrier, thick clouds of dust billowing out all around me, charred streaks around the bottom of the crater from the heat of my strike.

I took a deep breath before exhaling slowly as I deactivated Blaze Ignition: Flare and Descent, reverting to my normal state before leaping out of the crater as the barrier faded.

Oh, crap...looks like that strike did some damage to the bleachers too, I might've messed up the structural integrity of the stadium.

Oops.

That's the strongest blunt force strike I can generate, and it did a fair bit more damage than I thought it would.

It's a very direct, straightforward attack though, it's a risky move against an opponent who can keep up with and react to my full speed, that's why I didn't use it against Jaden, I was more focused on striking fast that just hitting as hard as possible.

"Woah, that would've pulverized my head to a bloody pulp. But if nothing else, at least I managed to force you to go all-out, even if it was just for a moment," Remarked Beatriz with a wry smile, as she approached me.

"Yeah, your Magic is pretty tough to go up against, especially since it inflicts damage even if dodged or blocked. So, I figured my best bet was to hit you with something too fast and too strong to react to," I grinned in response, before stretching my arms up as we headed back to the waiting room.
