Karl came to the Souran territory with a mission and he soon needed to return back in order to make a report. His task was mainly to observe the situation and there was actually no need for him to make any moves here.

And now that he had became Weiss's subordinate, he needed to make sure that after hearing his report, both his Night Crow organisation and count Falgur would lose their interest in investigating the Souran territory even more.

But as Karl was not really very good at thinking about plans like that, he asked for Weiss's help in coming up with an idea. This was actually a good thing to do as making a half assed plan would just create more problems in the future. So asking for help was the right thing to do.

There was still some time left before Karl needed to return. So it was not like Weiss needed to come up with an idea right at this moment. So she decided to think about this matter a little bit more before finalizing any plans.

For that she also needed to have a good idea about the personalities of the people involved. So she asked Karl about the head of the Night Crow and if he knew anything about Count Falgur.

Karl obviously knew quite a bit about his leader but not so much about the count. He had actually never even met the man and had only heard about him from his leader.

Weiss nodded her head after listening to what Karl had to say. Then she told him -

"Hmm, I will think about what you should report back and I will write it down for you. While I am preparing it, train a few of the new people. I will soon prepare a secret art for them so, for the time being, make their bodies a bit stronger and prepare them to be ready of a knight's trainings."

Hearing his orders, Karl bowed his head and accepted it. Then he left the room. Now that he had told his mistress about his problem, she was going to take care of it and there was no need for him to worry anymore.

As for traning the men, it was very simple thing to do. So Karl left the room in a very good mood.

After he left, Weiss wrote a few things down in her diary. Then she left the room and went toward one of the rooms that had very recently been cleaned.

After she came before the door of this room, she knocked on it twice before opening it. Inside the room, a beautiful lady with golden hair was lying on her bed and was looking at Weise with her green eyes.

This lady was none other than the injured former knight who was getting a treatment from her.

In the last nine days, Weiss and continuously taken care of her and the result of that had been extremely good.

Even though she was still unable to move her body like a normal person, she could at least manage to stand up and even move around a little as long as she was careful.

That was an insane improvement from her previous conditions where she was actually unable to move even a single one of her fingers.

She lifted her body and sat up on the bed and then with a very happy smile on her face, she said -

"Miss Weiss ! Thank you for coming to see me."

"How are doing Elise ? Now that the journey is over, you should be able to get a proper rest."

"Yes, I am feeling very well. I think I will be able to walk more freely in just a day or two. I feel a little bad for being a burden upon everyone for the last few days so I really want to get better soon and repay all of them."

In her most vulnerable time, it was not just Weiss who had helped her out. All the freed slaves were extremely empathetic toward her and had helped in taking care of her well being.

"Hmm, now that I am back here, I should be able to make a more effective medicine in just a few days. If that medicine worked exactly the way how it is suppose to work, there is a high possibility that you might even be able to repair your life core."

Hearing this Elise became excited. If she could really get her strength as a knight back, then that would definitely be a miracle. And with that strength, she could also be more helpful to Weiss and the people who had helped her out.
