After a whole week of traveling, the party finally arrived at the village of Anuvi. Too tired to mingle right away, they took shelter in the clay houses. Surprisingly enough, Glyea was already ahead of them and was sleeping in one of the houses. And the horses and the wagon that they'd left behind, she'd brought them along with her. Waking up to the ruckus that they made, she explained how her twin sister decided to take up her spot as the queen, and that freed her from all of her responsibilities.

Dropping her name from the academy itself, she'd decided to join the group as another companion who would live in the Devil Away and also work there. Free of her burdens and laying down the responsibility to carry her family name onto her brother, she was as much as a drifter as them for the time being and in case in the distant future she was ever called by Toma or her family which would be her brother and his fiance, then and only then she would have any reason to go back to the capital, that accursed place.

"Toma said that it will find some way to last a few more years until my sister settles in, so I didn't have any reason to stay behind. It was hell back there anyway," relaying the last of her story, she eyed Zephyr's true body standing behind Rudy and his group. "I never wanna go back there, maybe once for my brother's wedding to that hag…"

"Hag? Wasn't Cill around your age?" Charlotte asked, her eyes narrowed in confusion.

"Oh god no," shaking her head, Glyea decided to spill the beans about Cill's true age and appearance. "She's thirty-something and tall as a giant; my brother looks like she could smother him if she ever sat on him. Her thighs are thicker than his whole body."

'Well, she was a half-giant,' Zephyr relayed to her through his brain. Squinting her eyes, the knight responded.

'She seduced my younger brother with that body of hers. All that she is is a seductress!' Gauging her response with a bob of his head, Zephyr couldn't help but agree, as there was definitely some seduction play by Cill before she fell in love with Soma.

'If it's any consolation.' Looking her in the eye again while the others barraged her with questions, Zephyr revealed something that she hadn't herself picked up. 'The two seem to genuinely love each other. That's why I didn't want Aura to be around them; she would've ruined something with your brother.'

Telling her the truth, Zephyr noticed Glyea's eyes lifting for a moment. He was being as truthful as she could, and that in itself was somewhat surprising to her. After all, if he wanted to win her over now, why say anything about Aura's potential attempts to ruin her brother's life at all?

'What if it was someone else?' She asked, slowly turning her attention back to the howling pack in front.

'Then it would've been someone else. Your brother isn't just someone else, and nothing will happen to him, so don't worry your head over such details.' Hearing those words, she couldn't help but smile. The trace of danger in being with a devil was cut short, for it seemed at least that he cared for her and those around her.

'Thank you.' She said, and Zephyr left her to answer the questions of the curious with a nod.

Having overheard it all, Aura was waiting outside the clay house with a scowl plastered for an expression. A tad jealous of her husband's relationship with the new girl, she squinted at him the moment he came out, and yet the tightness in her gut and the sharp pang of jealousy only made her pussy wetter.

"If I wasn't so messed up, I would almost be mad~." She scoffed.

Smiling with her, Zephyr looked around the rest of the village, and the rain had everyone huddled inside their huts. At first, the women had been desperate to see him. All had already played their part, and the false god whispering in their ears had convinced them that they were on the right path. The men had also heard a call in their dreams. Their god told them how the women were most fertile, and after a night of deception by their wives, lovers, and girlfriends, they were convinced that they'd had sex and that the women were pregnant.

In truth, they'd been drugged and deceived by the other sex. No man had touched another woman intimately ever since Zephyr had bred them. Even so, in their heads, many a virgin thought that they weren't. And how could they tell? A night shared with their women where sex seemed imminent, only to wake up the next day with the naked form of their beauties standing in front of them.

However, as the deception was just that–a deception, the women were once again aching for Zephyr's touch. Especially the chieftain's sister, as surprisingly enough, she wasn't pregnant just yet.

'Sometime later…' Looking right at Josa standing by the entrance to the chieftain's hut, Zephyr reminded himself why he hadn't made her pregnant as well. 'We still need these idiot men to think everything is as planned. Once she's an outcast, I can properly make her my wife.'

To hold a fiend's child as his wife and not a concubine was a far more delicate process. One requiring property celebration and etiquette. For not even the fiend's children were born equal, whose are really? And in Josa, he'd seen something special, an affinity for strength, child rearing, and fertility. The rest were like drones, mindlessly chasing those before them.

"Josa," calling out to her, he raised his hand. "Get ready to leave, I said I will take you with me, and once we leave, we may never come back!"

Knowing the customs of the Anuvi, once the girl leaves, she would be an outcast. But in that sacrifice, she was happy for through it she had saved the life of her brother and the lives of her whole clan by eradicating the pervasive disease.

Bowing her head, she turned around and went inside the hut to ready herself for her and the merchant's departure. It would be the last time she sees her brother, but she felt comfort in knowing that, though she may be gone, he would live to raise the coming children of Anuvi.
