Liohime Kitagami had been taken in under the watch of the Piglet Squad, and now that all four people began to trek inside the massive Lost Forest, Liohime's thoughts began to consume him as he was already looking for a way to escape.

What's the chances that I win right here and right now with Shihon? he pondered.

With the biggest weapon in his arsenal being his Magical Beast Girl, he yearned for a way out in order to exit this troubling scenario and head to the first layer of the Paradisus Legion.

Even so, with his powerful partner by his side, he was unsure of this being such a good idea to use right now.

He eyed the three members who walked on beside him.

Poly kept two metallic-like hammers strapped to her back.

Melty kept a crossbow strapped to her while also wielding an iron-tipped spear with her right hand.

There was a glamorous sword that was held in place at Koro's slender back.

Liohime swallowed hard, continuing to deeply think about the option of fighting for his freedom so early.

I have no idea what they are capable of. I don't know how they fight, how they react, and how they move. It would be a huge risk to take on people who I have no knowledge of while they carry really strong weapons.

With that in mind, Liohime had come to a conclusion.

I guess I'll stick around for now, just to see what happens.

Then, his thoughts were cut off as he felt a slap to….his ass.

…..Huh? HUH!?

"Yeah, just keep moving, handsome," muttered Melty, with a seductive tone directed to him. "We're gonna have looooots of fun together, just wait and see."

Liohime's right eyebrow twitched while Poly exhaled with annoyance and Koro simply averted her eyes for a brief second.

This…is certainly going to be a long day. Ugh.

"So, how old are you, exactly, darling?" Melty continued as he leaned forward, keeping her face in close proximity with his.

"Is this question necessary for my guaranteed survival?"

"Yes, yes it is!"

"E-Eighteen."

"Seriously! Me too! What a funny coincidence!"

Nothing about this is funny, though…

Suddenly, a nudge onto Melty's side came from Koro, who purposefully moved herself over to Liohime's right so that she could get between the duo.

"K-Koro, what gives!?"

"You need to stop engaging with a foreigner who is clearly not supposed to be here. This is a bad habit of yours that needs to stop."

"Ugh, racist much?"

"What…are you even talking about….

Then, a rustle from tall bushes nearby caught Liohime's attention at the same time as it did Koro, but before the former could react…

"Heads up, oink."

D-Do they really have to say 'oink' in nearly every sentence!?

Poly and Melty instantly turned serious, bracing for conflict as they hastily drew their weapons.

With their battle stances ready, Koro continued:

"I'll look after the boy, oink. You girls can engage."

And just after Koro said those words that monstrous creature had emerged from the foliage, rendering Liohime speechless.

A large horse-like base of the entity was present, with a scaly serpent's head.

Its two, red horns stuck out of its head as a mix of a neigh and a hiss echoed from its fanged mouth.

Its large, lizard-like tail whipped around as it stomped with fury.

What….in the ever-loving fuck…is that?

Liohime took a step back instinctively, while Koro eyed him with caution, but the other two women sprung into action.

Melty launched forward as a white beam with electric sparks radiated from the beast's mouth. With a ranged strike set in motion, it aimed straight at her, but sidestepping it with elegance, she continued to close the distance between them.

She kicked off of a nearby tree and spun in mid-air, holding her spear tightly as she aimed to kill the beast with a single blow. The beast was ready, however, and lasers protruded from both of its eyes in a flash.

Only managing to angle her body out of the way for the first laser, she gnashed her teeth as the second barely grazed her cheek, and with a feint throw, she deceived the beast into trying to dodge the incoming attack as she descended.

Without hesitation, she flew downwards and slashed the creature's neck, drawing blook with ease as the beast wailed angrily.

Bracing her fall, she spotted the large tail whipping towards her body, and she could not dodge the attack in time. However-

"GYAHHHH!!!"

BANG!

With a fascinating save, Poly blitzed in front of her, smashing the tail into the ground with her dual wield hammers, crushing bone and skin instantly.

"Do it now, Melty!" she cried out, and Melty grinned as she spun around in a haste, drawing her crossbow and landing a perfect shot into the right eye of the creature.

The beast stumbled with pain all over, and as soon as it fell to the ground, Koro, who had been beside Liohime all this while, drew her sword and powerfully launched it out of her right hand at its neck from several feet away, making Liohime tremble.

S-She's fucking insane!

The blade stabbed into its neck, and Koro also raised her voice.

"Use that to finish the job, Melty!"

"Right!"

And after Melty reached for the blade that was ingrained, she used it to quickly slash through its neck completely, ending the fight so briefly that it left Liohime stunned.

"Nice assist, Koro!" shouted Melty with a smile, before giving a peace sign to Poly. "You too, Poly!"

"Hmph."

"Sure thing!"

Koro simply scoffed and waved off the appreciation before dragging Liohime along with her, while Poly held her thumbs up.

"Anyway, we must keep going. There's gonna be a lot more Magical Beasts like this one, but everything will be fine if we keep acting as a unit, oink."

"Yeah," answered Koro, who glanced over at Liohime. "Keep moving, boy."

"R-Right, ma'am!"

Liohime nodded, and then pursed his lips after he sighed with relief.

I definitely made a good decision not to take these women head on in a fight.
