In Shihon's mind, Liohime Kitagami was the true rendition of 'unstoppable'.

She had witnessed his strength, speed and skill firsthand, and had come to know of his incredible physical abilities when he had managed to evade her in the In-House Improv Tag game.

Seeing him train tirelessly almost daily, whether it be light jogs early in the morning or pushups with her weight added onto his back, give her an increased admiration of him.

The one whom she adored was the definition of power.

Even when she had realized that he had not made it into the top two of the Laser Tag game of the Polar Town Fair, her view of him representing the very best of the best was not shaken as she heard from him afterwards that he had let his guard down and underestimated his opponent while simply having fun, end even so, he had taken his opponent out at the same time that he had lost.

Liohime was 'the strongest', who would never be someone who was at the brink of danger or death.

She believed it with all of her heart.

The wolf-like head of Shinon turned , and the beast's eyes widened in shock as Liohime tumbled hard onto the ground, screaming with pain as the blade remained firmly sunk into his flesh.

Then, the explosive power of lightning struck the earth near her, spreading into her fur and skin beneath as the shockwave sent her and everyone in her proximity flying back.

Despite having the ability to regenerate deep and fatal wounds, her pain receptors remained, taking in the taste that stunned her mercilessly as she rolled back into a complete stop.

Hrrk…s-shit….

Everything hurt, but there was no time to lose. She knew that.

She craned her head upwards, and she spotted her Master, motionless on the floor, holding his shoulders as his body twitched with pain that consumed his back.

At the same time, the man who had attacked him had gotten up and sped towards him, not bothering to interrogate or question, but to kill without any hesitation.

Of course, her ears picked up the desperate war cries and panicked yells from the people around her, but that was not her main focus anymore.

Rather, it never was.

She was now sure that there was an attack poised from a Magical Beast from above.

She believed that there must be something supporting its attack from the Tower itself.

She knew that the battalion that neared them were all ready to completely annihilate the scattered and weakened troops of the Shinigami Soldiers as the latter were all stunned, helpless on the ground.

Even so, her eyes wavered as she continued to look forward at the body of Liohime Kitagami, while time came to a complete halt inside her mind.

She bore her fangs with aggression.

I'm sorry that I'm so selfish, but…

Time resumed as she sprang into action, neglecting the rest of the people who were situated next to her.

I need you alive...more than anyone else.

In a flash, she blitzed right in front of Liohime's attacker, and smashed his head in with her iron claws, crushing his skull as his brain matter spilled out with the blood that followed.

SHHK! SHIK!

Two speeding bullets from the sniper located at the Paradisus Legion Tower's upper floor were shot, and while one whizzed past Yariko's ear, the other pierced mercilessly into his shoulder, and he cried out as the searing heat spread throughout, while elemental beams and magical pulses of energy from the battalions's many Magical Beasts headed straight at the rest of the Hallory Circuit group with horrifying speed.

They all had barely any time to act, but Shihon moved first as her vines completely shielded Liohime, sealing him with a protective thick circular veil as she sprang back into the front lines.

It's such a fucking hassle to fight in my beast form, she lamented with annoyance while her paws sank into the ground, generating even more foliage to shield all nine other helpless members just in time. I've had enough of this shit.

With her figure surely being unnoticeable by the second line of Shinigami Soldiers that followed due to their extremely far gap of distance between them, she transformed.

YOU'LL PAY FOR THAT!!

And then, her body contorted as the Magical Beast battalion's attacks smashed into her protective shields, causing very minimal damage while she leaped and soared straight into them.

With the terrified shock on each defender's face slowly forming, her beastly body had reverted into-

"[SHIHON UNLEASHED!!!]"

-Her human form, as her jet black horns shone into a brilliant white and multiplied while her hair sharpened into blade-like knives.

At once, her attackers could not believe their eyes, and neither could the one who continued to watch from the telescope in the tower while remaining next to the snipers.

She had taken one of the biggest risks ever, in order to comfortably use her newest and strongest set of moves straight out of the gate while exposing herself to the line of fire.

Within milliseconds, she let a punch fly into the lightning powered Magical Best serpent, smashing it as it pummeled to the ground, and then she descended right in front of the defending army with a rocketing crash into the earth, with the shockwave hurling everyone before her into the air.

Without a second of delay, she snapped her fingers as she pointed forward, and immediately emerging from the ground were spiked foliage that slashed and impaled many from right beneath them, before curling around and restraining each and every one until they were all slammed into the earth with force.

Blood splattered onto her from the bashed in heads and broken limbs, and Shihon could only stare at the tower's apex in the distance as she felt the cold liquids dripping down from her face.

"Next."

In only a few seconds, Shihon had immobilized the Paradisus Legion Tower fleet, but she was not done quite yet.

"Time to test out this next move in my human form."
