Without wasting any time, Shihon sprung into action, blitzing straight at the nearest watchtower guard that was situated and landing a direct punch to the chest, shattering ribs with a single powerful strike as her first victim was pummeled into the wall.

With goosebumps crawling all over his body, another older man flinched, but quickly pulled out his pistol to fire, but Shihon merely snapped her finger, activating a loud crunching sound from beneath him, followed by a massive column of grassy foliage that smashed into him from below and pounded into the ceiling from an acute angle, crushing each and every floor as it continued to ascend higher and higher while blowing his body into bits.

And at the same time, Shihon faintly spoke.

"[Nature's Hell]."

Thus summoning beams of light green energy that shot out of her palms as she aimed at the rest of her opponents.

The last bit of defence which were these guards all avoided the attack from long range and the counterrattack has now been set in motion.

Before Shihon could continue, a pulse of electricity stunned her from behind, and the shock pulsated within her with a violent pain.

At the corner of her eyes, she spotted one of the men who had used a taser, and as their glances exchanged with one another, she glared with hostility and turned to attack.

With her emotions getting the better of her, though, her focus had been shifted, allowing Hibono to finally spring himself towards her with a sharp blade gripped tightly with his right arm.

At the last second, Shihon could feel a presence speeding towards her, but was unable to dodge in time, and tried to shield herself with her arm.

SHIK!!

Hibono's large pocket knife had stabbed straight into her palm, increasing the internal pain tenfold as his body collided with hers and pinned her to the ground.

"GAHHHH!!!"

"Sorry, but I have to do whatever I must to stop you from going on a rampage!"

With that quick statement, Hibono grabbed the blade that was now deeply embedded in her skin, completely covered in oozing, fresh blood, and ripped it out without mercy, causing Shihon to scream out.

With this bloodied knife in his hand, he raised it up in order to impale her neck with one swift move.

Shihon, on the brink of completely losing her mind as her hand felt like it was being burnt to a crisp, gnashed her teeth in fury and twisted her head away just in time to avoid the blade that descended with incredible speed.

Hibono had missed, and just as the blade snapped into half while making contact with the hard stone below, Shihon let out a violent cry and kicked his body upwards, using her strong hind legs as his body crashed onto the jagged edges of the destroyed ceiling and then landed on the various scattered debris with a thump.

Instantly, Hibono's co-workers arrived from above, and Maya screamed out:

"Now! [Icicle Trap]!"

And her Magical Beast appeared from her shoulder, a miniature Komodo Dragon that summoned sharp icicles around itself before firing them as a multitude at Shihon with precision.

Sidestepping the attack with ease, she dashed into a blur, re-appearing within a few inches from Maya as she closed her fist and raised it with a deathly stare.

And just as she was about to attack, several bullets pierced her back, shoulder, and chest and more than five members of the watchtower guards had Maya's full reinforced support.

Maya quickly dashed backwards, escaping the fatal attack that could have befell her while in such close proximity to Shihon.

S-Shit, Shihon thought, as her focus wavered in the midst of the unbearable heat that tore through her insides. I'll lose at this rate.

Her hand had pretty much healed already, but she had to kick things up a notch if she wanted to have a perfect victory here.

Therefore, with Shihon's increased form now diminishing as her mana capacity was about to be nonexistent in a few seconds, she switched to Plan B.

Her quick thinking was quickly interrupted by a sudden thick polyester net trapping her as she was quickly held down by four opposers.

"Do it, now, Adrian!"

"Hold onto the wooden part of the net!!"

Adrian, who had received the signal, replied with a necessary warning, and held onto the non-conductive end of the net that was marked with wooden edges before hastily pressing a red button located there.

Then, an electric shock that was many times as strong as the teasing feeling that Shihon had experienced came, and so did the hellish, grotesque sense of death that reverberated inside the Magical Beast Girl.

Unable to speak, move or even blink, every second felt like she needed to die just to be relieved from what she was currently experiencing.

I'm scared.

She needed to be freed.

Tears gushed out from her eye sockets as the sizzling feeling prevented her from being knocked out. It was as if every organ was being cooked alive within her body, and it just wouldn't stop.

I'm dying. I'm gonna die. I'm seriously going to die. Am I dead? Am I already dead, maybe. Ah, that's it. I'm dead.

Her existence was now like a television with a screen of static, unable to process anything but pain, pain, and more pain. The more she regenerated, the more the fresh pain abounded once again, and at this point, she had no clue if this horrifying hurt would destroy her body faster than her regenerative abilities.

As her entire body continued to convulse while being trapped by the electrocuted net, a dark haze from a singular point in her mind continued to grow.

The darkness grew, eating up everything in its path as it began to consume everything, until-

The television of static had been switched off, and Shihon's heart had finally-

"Where...the fuck am I...?"

Waking up and finding herself completely enveloped in complete darkness, Shihon turned her head as she sat up, peering into the blackness of absolutely nothing.

Suddenly, a faint, light blue light illuminated from a distant area, and her eyebrows raised as she stared with confusion.

Several feet away from her lay a singular translucent door, lit up with a light blue and black shadowy background.

It remained stationed as the only thing that existed in this hazy scene.

Actually, now that I think about it...

She held her breath, and her pores from her skin raised as she felt a cold chill creep along her body.

This feeling, this dream sequence....

It felt very familiar.

--And that's when she saw it.

She saw the shadowed outline of the female figure behind that door.

That person had returned once again, and the figure slowly leaned against the frame of the door, placing her hands gently on it as two dotted glowing circles and a single curved line faintly emerged from its face.

And instantly, Shihon returned to reality as her heart had been jumpstarted back to its usual rate by a taser picked up by none other than Liohine Kitagami.
