'What did you do to him!' Herman looked at Eyeball accusingly as he spoke.

'I didn't do anything to the boy, he simply bit off more than he could chew.' Eyeball replied in a care free manner and moved over to where Jeage was to check on his body's situation.

Xenon who held Jeage in his arms could feel his body turning harder than normal, his veins were turning brown and bulging so that you could see the vein patterns all around his body, and they were as hard as iron to the touch.

The brown stuff on Jeage's face and limbs were slowly spreading to other parts of his body and you could hear various creaking sounds from time to time, it was as if Jeage was slowly turning into a mannequin himself.

Eyeball looked into Jeage, and he was indeed turning into the mannequin. The brown stuff was spreading all around his skin, bones and even organs, if he wasn't attended to quickly enough he would turn into a wooden human statue.

'Herman! This boy's life is in danger! The piece of me he ate is slowly taking over his body, and if not attended to in time, he would become no different from my mannequins.' Eyeball informed Herman quickly.

'Can you do something about it!?' Herman asked immediately.

'I can't!' Eyeball shook from left to right slowly.

'This is bad! This is bad! This... wait, Felicity should be able to fix this right? I need to get him to the infirmary.' Herman suddenly rushed to Jeage and attempted to grab him from Xenon, but Xenon didn't let go.

"What are you doing! He needs immediate medical attention!" Herman said angrily when Xenon didn't let him go.

"I'm pretty sure I'm faster than you, just tell me who I need to go to and I'll take him there." Xenon replied, he also knew that his cousin's life was in danger as he could see his deterioration status from the system.

"You have to go to the infirmary immediately. When you get to the infirmary, don't stop or let the other healers question you but go straight to Felicity at the top floor, she'll understand once she sees his condition. Go on as fast as you can, his life is in great danger!" Herman hastily instructed.

"You don't say." Xenon muttered and ran off.

Herman turned to the rest of the students, he could see the worry etched upon their faces. 'How could my first class have gone so bad?' Herman sighed helplessly.

"Due to the sudden unforeseen circumstance, this class is dismissed, we will continue with the exercise next class." Herman said to the students and went into the wooden building. The students dispersed.

Xenon looked at Jeage's status and heaved a heavy sigh of relief. He wasn't so keen on losing his first friend so soon.

Jeage was asleep on a brown couch in Miss Felicity's office, the scene of Jeage sleeping would have been peaceful if not for the occasional jerks, creaks and moans of pain that issued from Jeage.

Xenon had rushed from the combat field to the infirmary as fast as he could, knocking into some people in the process. By the time he got to the infirmary, Jeage's condition had gotten worse, his HP had risen to ten thousand, his fatigue had decreased to 99.99% and his vitality had reduced to 0.3%.

Seeing his cousin was on the brink of death, he rushed to the top floor and struck down Felicity's office doors, barging in and laying his cousin down on the couch while begging the very shocked healer to do something about Jeage quickly.

Felicity broke out of her shock rather quickly and placed her hands on Jeage to heal him. She was shocked again and asked Xenon what had happened, Xenon in turn refused to tell her anything till Jeage's condition was stabilized.

Felicity was momentarily shocked again, but decided Xenon must have forgotten who he was speaking to due to being worried over Jeage, so she worked some magic – Aaavadekedavra! – and Jeage's condition stabilized.

'Scan.' Xenon scanned Jeage once again as he had been doing every minute for the one hour he had been here.

"Your friend will be moved to a proper ward, my office is not one." Felicity said to Xenon when he looked at the guys with questioning gazes.

He eventually stepped back and let them carry Jeage out, he followed behind them and attempted to leave before he was stopped by Felicity.

"Where do you think you're going?" Felicity said. "You are not leaving here till I get a full and detailed explanation."

"Could I come back later ma'am, I'm extremely tired." Xenon answered truthfully.

"No. You owe me an explanation for coming up to the top floor without permission, destroy the doors to my office and violently invading my privacy." Felicity went to seat down behind her desk. "What happened to him?" She looked at Xenon and pointed to the seat opposite her, clearly instructing him to grab a seat.

Xenon sighed in defeat, grabbed a seat, and retold the tales of Jeage's feat. He explained everything leading to when he burst into her office in detail.

"I am going to have a serious and long talk with Herman tomorrow, how careless could he be." Felicity said in anger after Xenon recounted his tales. She had had it with how the students lives are always put in danger in Askesis. "The proprietor must hear about this."

"Please don't, this is not Mr. Herman's fault, my cousin just has a tendency to chew on anything he sees." Xenon quickly said as he didn't want her to make life hard for Herman, at least not until he had his turn with the mannequin.

"Don't try to cover up for him, it doesn't change the fact that something this outrageous happened right under his nose."

"I'm not covering up for him, I'm just saying that he wouldn't have been able to stop it even if he knew. Jeage had planned this all along, I just told you how his abilities worked. Even if he was prevented from sparring today, he would still have found an opportunity to ingest a part of the mannequin out of curiosity." Xenon stated.

"Can I take my leave now?" Xenon asked as he shifted on where he sat.

"Yes you can, after you pay me for the doors." Felicity replied.

"What? But it was an emergency!" Xenon who had stood up happily taken aback by Felicity's words.

"Exactly! I have a feeling you would be of help later on." Felicity also stood and closed in on Xenon who retreated fearfully.

"Wha... what do you want?" Xenon said nervously as his back was against the wall and Felicity was extremely close to him now.

"When you destroyed the doors as you came in, you had a bleeding cut in your forehead and you had fractured the bones in your forearms," Felicity said as she placed her hands on either side of Xenon's face. "Now, the cut is healed and your bones have started the first stages of repair. Is it because of your spirit or ability?" She asked.

"Both, I think." Xenon replied as he was still confused by what was happening.

Suddenly, Xenon's whole body was glowing with a warm radiance for about five seconds before it stopped. Xenon could feel the pain in his arms disappear.

"There you are, good as new." Felicity smiled as she turned Xenon towards the door. "You owe me a lot, both for saving your friend and for the doors – they're very expensive." Felicity said as Xenon hurried down the corridor to the stairs that led to the lower floors.

"Finally, I'm rid of her." Xenon said to himself as he descended to the fifth floor which was the floor Jeage was on now.

His eyes looked from door to door as he traversed the corridor, looking for room number 127. He found the room shortly after and pushed open the door, only to see Jason and Aoi seated beside Jeage who was on a bed.

"What are you guys doing here?"
