"Uh, well, that's a wrap, class dismissed." Herman announced. "Miss Grimaldi, stay back, you're gonna redo the spar."

Everyone scurried out of the class grounds, they were more than eager to start their break early. Jason and Xenon walked side by side without really knowing where they were going.

A few minutes later, they were taking a seat in one of the numerous small restaurants dotted around the island. They ordered water – they had to order something for occupying a table – and sat, neither spoke to the other.

"Were you scared?" Jason suddenly asked.

"Ya think! I thought I was gonna end up like the mannequin." Xenon replied.

"You guys felt it too right?" Jacquez appeared at the table they were seated at and helped himself to a seat as well.

"Yes. What are you doing here?" Xenon asked Jacquez.

"What's wrong with your friend?" Rogue asked and also joined them.

"What are-"

"Hey, may I join you guys?" Arnetta asked, but helped herself to a seat before anyone could answer.

Slowly, the rest of the top ten students - except Belladonna - joined the table. They all stared at Xenon and Jason with questioning gazes.

"We are just as lost as you all, so would you all go away." Jason said.

"Uh, no." Jacquez replied.

"You can't expect us to believe you have completely no idea what happened back there." Arnetta cast accusing gazes at Xenon and Jason.

"And what if we do? We're not tell you anything, you can be on your way." Xenon replied.

"And, we barely know each other." Jason added.

"We're the top ten." Wonsebolatán muttered.

"Doesn't change the fact that we don't know you!" Jason voiced aloud.

"It is kinda ironic you know, we've all been avoiding ourselves since the admission, but now look at all of us. 'The gathering of the ten' but only because we felt overwhelming pressure from least expected one of us." Xenon said dramatically.

"So you guys did feel it." Jacquez confirmed.

"We all did." Rogue said softly.

"What have I missed!" Belladonna half shouted as she burst into the restaurant. She was breathing heavily and sweating, it was obvious she ran here.

"Ten- no nine- no... eight bottles of orange juice, please." She said to a waiter before she joined the others at the table.

"Everyone was just leaving." Xenon said as Belladonna dragged a seat from another table and sat opposite him.

"Is that true?" Belladonna cast doubtful gazes at everyone on the table.

"No, they refused to tell us anything." Rogue answered her.

"Would you all just leave and let us enjoy our break in peace. If you want to ask anything, go meet Aoi yourselves, we aren't talking about our friend behind his back with...strangers." Jason said and drank the glass of water he ordered earlier.

"Strangers?" Belladonna was confused.

"Well then, if that's how you see it, why don't we get to know each other. I'm Jacquez Pascal, and you?" Jacquez said with a light smile on his lips.

"You've gotta be kidding me." Jason muttered.

"I am Arnetta Towe." Arnetta followed Jacquez's lead

"I am Rogue Dām." Rogue followed.

"Karmesínrot Leuchten." And so did the rest.

"And I am Belladonna Grimal-"

"Cut the crap, we know your names!" Xenon cut in.

"Ouch!" Belladonna exclaimed.

"It's disrespectful to interrupt a princess you know." Jacquez said to Xenon.

"What princess?" Xenon asked.

Everyone turned to look at him with bewildered faces and Jason face palmed himself. A waiter came to their table at this time and placed the bottles of orange juice in front of each person.

"Thank you." Rogue whispered loudly to Belladonna and down the contents of the bottle in a few gulps.

"So, you guys are gonna talk or what?" Wonsebolatán asked.

"He told you already, we are also clueless about what happened." Xenon replied.

"Bullshit!" Karmesínrot scoffed.

"I don't think he's lying." Belladonna said and everyone turned their gazes to her.

"Why do you think so?" Arnetta asked.

Belladonna subconsciously reached for her left eye but stopped halfway. "I just know." She replied.

"Well it kinda makes sense because both of them were as shocked as we were when Aoi suddenly changed. Xenon couldn't even move at all, and I noticed Aoi has been avoiding them of late, so it's not impossible that he's hiding things from them." Jacquez said in agreement with Belladonna.

"And, they haven't been friends for more than a week, it's impossible for them to know everything about each other." Arnetta added.

"Well, this was a waste of time then." Wonsebolatán stood up, grabbed the bottle of orange juice in front of him and dropped it by Belladonna before walking out of the restaurant.

"I'll be on my way too." Karmesínrot down the bottle of juice and walked out.

"You guys should go look for your friend." Arnetta said and disappeared - she halted time before stepping out.

"What's wrong with your eye?" Xenon asked Belladonna.

"None of your business." She replied with a smile then walked out.

"Why are you two still here?" Jason asked as Jacquez and Rogue were still seated and it didn't seem like planned to leave.

"I'm tired, I'm gonna take a quick nap." Rogue said as she rested her head on her arms which were on the table. "Thanks again by the way, Xenon." She closed her eyes.

"Er... you're welcome?" Xenon replied.

"What about you?" Jason asked Jacquez.

"We have the same class schedules so I might as well stay with and accompany you to the next class." Jacquez replied, took his bottle of orange juice, opened it and took a sip.

The rest of the day passed over in a breeze. Aoi didn't show up for either of the last two classes for the day and they couldn't find him in his room either when they went to check for him.

Jason suggested that Xenon should run all over the island to look for him, but Xenon told him it wasn't worth it.

Xenon went to visit Jeage but didn't stay long as the gruesome surgeries would soon continue from where they left off yesterday.

'Status.' Xenon whispered as he lay on the bed in his room.
