The moment Lulu's words struck the air, the entire room froze.
Luna's eyes widened and she immediately slapped a hand over her mouth. "L-Lulu…!" She whispered under her breath, stunned that her usually goofy younger sister had just said that and in front of everyone.
Luca, on the other hand, looked like he'd just been handed front-row tickets to his favorite kind of theater.
A slow smirk crept across his face, his hand coming up to his chin as he muttered,
"Oh, this is getting good…"
Nyx let out a small, proud hum through her nose and grinned like a mentor watching her apprentice surpass expectations.
She was clearly fighting the urge to laugh, though she discreetly placed her hands over Lisa's ears.
"No, no, little one." She murmured softly. "You don't need to hear the words of a warrior in action."
Leona, however, looked utterly mortified. Not because of the vulgarity, but because she didn't even know her daughter knew how to speak like that.
Her lips parted slightly, her eyes flicking between Lulu and Julius in shock.
"W-Where...did she even learn to talk like this?" She whispered under her breath, her elegant composure cracking for a moment.
As for Rufus and Julius—both stood completely still, blinking, as though their brains needed a few seconds to catch up.
But the one hit hardest was Isaac.
The young elf froze like a statue, his polite expression crumbling in slow motion.
His mouth opened slightly, no sound coming out. For a moment, his confident composure shattered into utter confusion.
Still, he tried to recover. He straightened his back, forcing a diplomatic smile.
"E-Excuse me, Lady Lulu...I'm afraid I didn't quite hear that properly." He said, voice tight. "Surely I must have misheard you."
But Lulu simply folded her arms, tilted her head, and raised an eyebrow.
"Oh? You didn't hear?" She asked sarcastically. "But you've got such long ears, right?" She pointed directly at his elven ears. "What's the use of those things then, huh?"
Isaac flinched.
"Don't tell me they're all clogged up with shit or something?" She continued with a mocking sneer. "Maybe stuffed with chicken poop, yeah? Is that why you couldn't hear?"
The young elf's forced smile twitched.
"Oh, and since you didn't hear me the first time." Lulu continued sweetly. "I'll repeat it slowly for you."
She leaned forward slightly, enunciating every word with exaggerated clarity.
"When. I. Said. Piss off, you idiotic, dumb, stupid, nonsensical, moron bastard—"
Her tone rose higher with every insult.
"—I meant piss off and don't come near me! Don't talk to me, don't look at me, and don't even breathe the same air as me! You got that?"
By now, Isaac was visibly red—part fury, part humiliation while Lulu simply smirked and added cheerfully.
"Honestly, your face is so ugly it burns my eyes. Did your mother drop you face-first as a baby? Because it shows!"
"And your poor mother, she probably had to look at your mug every time she breast-fed. She would've had to hold herself from vomitting. Just thinking about it is sad."
Leona audibly gasped. Luna's hand was still over her mouth. And Nyx, oh, she was glowing with delight.
But like a diva, Lulu didn't care for anyone's reactions and flicked her hair dramatically and said,
"Now, be a dear and turn that disfigured mug away from me. It's painful to even look at you."
Isaac's composure broke. His hands clenched tightly at his sides, his face trembling with fury. He had never been spoken to like that in his life.
Luca on the other hand bit back a laugh, his eyes gleaming in amusement.
'She's got guts.' Se thought, grinning wider. 'Unfiltered, fiery, and sharp—I like her spirit.'
But not everyone found it amusing.
Julius's smile faded.
He took a slow breath, forcing calm, though the vein in his temple pulsed faintly.
"Lulu." He said, with a strained chuckle. "What is this behavior? He's my beloved apprentice—the boy I introduced to you myself—and you speak to him like this?"
He stepped closer, his tone tightening.
"At least for my sake, you could show a little decency."
But Lulu's expression hardened instantly, the humor in her face vanishing. She scoffed.
"Respect him?" She repeated bitterly. "Him? Of all people?"
She jabbed a thumb toward Isaac, her tone dripping with disgust.
"Ever since I stepped into this room, he's been ogling me from head to toe. You think I didn't notice that, old man? His eyes haven't left me once!"
Isaac's face went pale. "T-That's not—!"
"Oh, shut up." Lulu cut him off sharply. "You think I'm stupid? The way you looked at me was enough to make me want to puke." She waved dismissively. "Respect him, you say? Hah! I'd rather respect the toilet I shit in! At least that serves a purpose!"
That did it.
Luca burst out laughing, unable to hold it back any longer. He turned his head away, one hand covering his mouth as he snickered uncontrollably.
"Dammit, her insults sound so childish but why are they so good…"
Julius's forced smile finally dropped completely and his eyes darkened.
"Lulu." He said sharply. "Behave yourself in front of your father. I will not tolerate such language when I'm present."
And in response, Lulu turned slowly toward him and smiled.
But it wasn't a cheerful smile.
"Oh. You want respect?" She pointed at him suddenly. "Well, then fuck you too."
The room froze.
Even Nyx blinked this time, her smirk fading into mild surprise.
Lulu's voice rose, loud and trembling with raw emotion.
"Fuck you, and fuck everything you stand for!"
Her eyes were glistening now, not with tears, but with pent-up fury years in the making.
"Respect you? Who the fuck would ever respect someone like you, you damn traitor?" She spat. "You're the man who left us! Who made everyone abandon the clan just to feed his own ego! You don't deserve anyone's respect!"
Her voice cracked, but her tone only grew stronger.
"And you're not even a healer anymore. You're a fraud! A scam artist parading around as something you're not!"
"I'll never respect you." She shouted. "Never! I hate you! I hate you! And I'll never call you my father again!"
Isaac stepped forward, trying to salvage the situation.
"Lady Lulu, please." He said, clearly struggling to keep his tone calm. "That's too much. He is your respected father. And he's my master. You shouldn't say such things."
But Lulu rounded on him without hesitation.
"Well, fuck you! And fuck that man you call your master over there too!"
She pointed across the room—right at Rufus.
"And fuck that guy over there!"
Rufus blinked, taken aback. "Wait, what?! What did I do?!"
"I don't care!" Lulu shouted. "I want to slap all of you right now, I swear! And you know what? I'm gonna do it!"
She lunged forward.
Gasps echoed across the room as Lulu actually began charging toward the group, ready to start a brawl.
But just in time, Luna rushed forward and wrapped her arms around her from behind, holding her tightly.
"Lulu, no! Stop!" Luna yelled, struggling to restrain her.
"Let me go, Luna! Let me go!" Lulu thrashed in her grip. "I've survived arrows to my body! I'm a warrior! I'm a damn beast! I'll tear them apart! I promise I'll bite their heads off!"
Everyone else froze—some in horror, some in awe.
And Luca?
He looked at Lulu with absolute admiration, lips pressed together to stop himself from clapping.
He thought she was wild, untamed, hilarious—but now?
Now he realized she was something far greater: a free spirit who stood for herself and didn't let anyone trample on her pride.
And he loved it.
But unlike Luca there was one person in that room who hated every second of this more than anyone else.
Julius.
He stood there, his face stiff, eyes twitching faintly as the weight of what had just happened settled in.
His youngest daughter had just humiliated him in front of everyone—his former wife, his peers, his apprentice, even strangers like Luca.
And for a man like Julius, who prided himself on his composure and superiority, that kind of public shame cut deep.
The faint, ever-present smile he wore finally vanished. His jaw tightened, his expression darkening.
For a brief moment, everyone thought he was going to explode.
His hand even twitched slightly, as though he were seconds away from raising it—perhaps to strike her, perhaps to cast something far worse.
Luca's stance subtly shifted, ready to intervene if Julius tried anything.
Even Nyx's eyes narrowed, mana flickering faintly at her fingertips.
But to everyone's surprise...Julius didn't shout.
He didn't curse. He didn't lash out.
Instead, he drew in a long, shaky breath, smoothed back his hair, and said in a calm, low tone.
"It seems that in all these years I've been away, our daughter has truly grown."
His gaze slid from Lulu to Leona.
"To have such a mouth…" He said slowly. "Such a big mouth, that she even speaks to her own father this way. Tell me, Leona—is this the result of your parenting? Is this how you've been raising her?"
The air grew heavy.
Leona didn't answer right away. She merely stared at him, expression stiff, her lips pressed tightly together.
Julius sighed and shook his head slightly.
"Well, what's done is done." He said coolly. "The past cannot be changed. I suppose this is what happens when daughters grow up without a father's presence to guide them."
He was reprimanding her. Subtly—but cruelly.
And in response, Leona's lip twitched, her expression flickering from controlled calm to faint irritation.
She didn't like being told how to raise her child—especially by the man who had abandoned them in the first place.
But Julius wasn't finished.
"Regardless." He said. "It's not too late to correct her behavior." His tone hardened. "Leona, you can reprimand her now."
Leona's shoulders tensed.
"Tell her what she did was wrong." Julius continued. "You know as well as I do that she shouldn't have spoken to me that way. Teach her some proper discipline."
"And make her apologise for what she said. Now."
Luca frowned faintly. He could already sense what was happening.
This wasn't about Lulu's behavior anymore.
It was about power. About control. Julius wasn't trying to correct his daughter, he was trying to thrust his authority and bring back his image once again.
And Lulu...Lulu's face had fallen completely.
She looked at her mother with wide, pitiful eyes, silently pleading:
'Please defend me, Mother. Please, just this once, take my side.'
But Leona looked conflicted.
Her eyes flickered between Julius and her daughter.
"Julius…" She began slowly, her voice trembling just slightly. "She's...She's just a child. She only spoke her mind. You know she's impulsive."
Her tone was softer now, almost pleading.
But Julius cut her off sharply.
"I don't care about that." He snapped, his voice suddenly commanding. "I want you to look at your daughter and tell her what she did was wrong. Tell her you're disappointed and make her apologise."
The atmosphere went cold.
It wasn't a request. It was an order.
Leona trembled like she was caught in a extremely difficult position.
It was as if invisible chains wrapped around her limbs, keeping her still.
Nyx whispered. "Leona...don't."
But Leona turned, slowly, her expression blank but her eyes conflicted.
She looked at Lulu, who was still trembling, still waiting for her mother to stand up for her.
And then, in a voice that wavered with quiet restraint, Leona said,
"Lulu...you shouldn't have done that."
Lulu blinked in disbelief, "W-What?"
Leona continued, though every word seemed to pain her. "No matter what you were thinking, you shouldn't have said it out loud. It was wrong."
"But Mother—!" Lulu's voice cracked. "He's the one who started talking about some stupid marriage out of nowhere! He wasn't even part of our lives, and now he wants me to marry someone?"
"W-What kind of nonsense is that? So, surely I'm the one in the right, right?"
But even with her daughter pleading, Leona shook her head, her eyes dim. "I don't care what was said. You disrespected your father."
She swallowed hard. "And I want you to apologize to him."
Lulu's heart sank and tears welled up in her eyes at the betrayal coming from her own mother.
"But...Mother…"
Leona's voice hardened. "I said apologize."
That broke her.
Her lips trembled as she looked down, biting her quivering lip so hard it nearly bled.
Inside, her thoughts screamed:
'I-I thought you'd defend me, Mother...I know you're always so strict, but I thought you'd take my side, just this once.'
But she couldn't disobey her mother, not after that tone.
So, through clenched teeth and watery eyes, Lulu whispered, "I-I'm sorry."
"Louder Lulu, so that everyone can hear."
Julius smirked even though it was his own duaghter who was suffering
She looked up, her voice raising. "I'm sorry for what I said." She murmured, turning toward Isaac. "I hope...you can forgive me for what I said about you."
Hearing this apology, Isaac gave a shallow nod, smug satisfaction creeping over his face.
Julius looked pleased. Rufus looked indifferent.
Leona's face, however, was filled with heartbreak.
She looked like she wanted to take those words back, to tell her daughter it was okay, that she didn't need to apologize—but she couldn't.
Meanwhile, Lulu herself looked shattered.
Her tears glimmered in the dim light, her lip trembling as she tried to hold back a sob.
Luna and Nyx both started moving toward her, ready to comfort her—but before they could, Luca's voice cut through the silence.
"Lulu." He said softly. "Come here please."
Her head shot up instantly.
Something in his tone—gentle, protective—made her move without hesitation. She ran straight to him, wiping her tears with the back of her hand like he was her safe haven.
And instead of hugging and comforting her like Luna thought he would, Luca instead crouched down slightly so that his eyes were level with hers.
Then, he leaned in close and whispered something softly into her ear.
No one could hear what he said.
But whatever it was—it worked.
Lulu's expression shifted.
First confusion. Then intrigue.
And then—her lips curled into the widest, most mischievous grin.
And before anyone could ask what was going on, Lulu suddenly wiped her tears away, stood on her tiptoes, and—
—to everyone's absolute shock, grabbed Luca by the neck and pulled him down toward her—
And right there, in front of everyone, she kissed him.
"Kiss!♡~"
Not once.
But again and again and again.
"Kiss!♡~ Kiss!♡~ Mwah!♡~ Kiss!♡~ Nibble!♡~"
Each one loud, exaggerated, and unapologetically playful, covering his cheek, his jaw, even brushing the corner of his lips.
Seeing this shocking and passionate sight, Nyx's eyes widened in utter disbelief—then broke into a stunned laugh.
Leona froze, her expression caught somewhere between horror and absolute speechlessness.
Luna just stood there, ears turning red and too stunned to even move.
Rufus and Julius on the other hand, were staring in sheer outrage.
But Luca?
He didn't even flinch. His usual smirk deepened as he let her do it, clearly amused, his hand resting loosely at her back as if humoring her antics.
When she finally finished, Lulu gave one last kiss, then turned around, clutching his hand proudly, snuggling against him like a satisfied cat.
Meanwhile, Isaac who had just that he wanted to marry her felt like the biggest fool in the room.
Or rather then a fool, but a cuckold.

Note: I know some of you are stressing about the fact that the villains aren't dying right away and are worried they'll come back to cause trouble for Luca and the others later.
But trust me, this isn't that kind of novel.
You don't have to stress over anything. You can read it completely carefree, because Luca will always be one step ahead. No matter how bad things seem, no matter how horrible the situation gets, he'll handle it—casually.
