All survivors, Kobi and Zhenny who were hugging Ren, panting Suge as he shot more sonic waves, Alya who recalled her blood back to her body, and even Alyndra and Kael who were grappling each other without touching, had their eye balls stuck on me, or rather, Subaru closing onto me.

Their eyes burning with curiosity as if they saw a rainbow for the first time.

"His Arcana level…." Alyndra's eyes widened the more the longer he glared towards Subaru, tints of fear embracing his features. "He's exactly what I needed… I WANT HIM!"

The fear soon turned into excitement, I backed off a bit, his mouth was drooling! I was sure I didn't imagine that!

Subaru had finally reached me, bowing lightly, "I am Subaru, the crimson samurai from the demonic sect. I was in the heart of Mount Fuji just moments ago..." His black eyes brightened as he observed me.

My instincts flaring as his eyes probed deeper and deeper. He didn't seem to be hostile or visibly confused anymore, but he hadn't turned into a complete robot who just acted like my Pokemon.

I forced myself to stay still, not backing a few hundred meters away as my body was telling me to.

Wait… Mt. Fuji? I had so many questions. Was this actually a parallel earth? But as I observed others in the room, I realised I wasn't the only one taken aback. No one had any idea about Crimson samurai, demon sect, or Mt. Fuji.

With a strained smile, I nodded with a bow, "I am Lucien Bloodborne, nice to meet you." I extended my hand, which he shook with his rough, sandpaper like hands. "I know you have many many questions, but… Could you turn back for a second first?"

He did turn back. Barely blinking, at the flaring, sun-like red, eternal burning flames had fully closed in, only inches away from Suge, Subaru and our bodies.

Thick sweat was covering our bodies, and we should probably be dead from the heat alone if we normal human beings.

He turned back, unsheathing the long katana in slow motion. He raised it infront of him, showing of it's pure black blade, with small spheres made of bright red. The Katana exuded an aura even more terrifying then Subaru himself, if that was possible.

"My katana and armor are missing…" Subaru mumbled sadly to himself before just simply stabbing the violent flames with the edge of his katana.

"What are you doing?!" Kael yelled, "That katana is an arcana based weapon! It will be destroyed in an instant!"

But Subaru didn't had to reply to Kael as what happened next instantly made him quiet down. The red patches on the katana glowed bright red as the violent flames, all across the long narrow hallway froze.

"With the Authority of existence, I prohibit you from existing." He said calmly, before turning back towards me.

The flames coming towards us began crumbling… Turning into billions of particles of ashes as if literally dying.

…Holy shit! This was the most coolest, badass thing someone could ever do. Is he a god?!

"No… NO!" Kael's painful screams instantly woke me up, my pupils dilating as I saw the violent flames that burned on his body… along with his skin and physical body were experiencing the same thing as the flames targeting us.

I tapped Subaru's shoulder without turning to him, "Please! Can you do something? He's our friend!"

Subaru's lips parted as he nodded apologetically, a few of the red patches on the katana dimmed, "The source of the power is free to exist."

Kael's heavy pants were the only sound in the tense hallway as everyone forgot to even breathe audibly.

"Thank you!" I sighed gratefully to which he shook his head.

"You have an authority serving you…?" Alyndra's voice shook as he asked.

"I had actually two. My armor is missing, right now, but." He said while tilting his sword, about to sheath it back.

"That's… blasphemous. Humans should never wield authorities. Even the Goddess Eternity has only three. You don't—" Alyndra's face was cold, but his voice somehow came out polite, not daring to say complete his last line. Clearly he didn't want to offend Subaru.

Noticing Zhenny, Kobi, Alya, and mine complete blank looks, Suge explained, "Authorities are form of contracts… Similar to spirit contracts.

But, they are with laws of nature itself. I don't have much knowledge about what these laws are, but clearly, only bibles of different Gods have mentioned their gods having these and these.

Like, Goddess eternity rules over aging, darkness, and willpower."

"So, Subaru is basically a…" My face was the brightest it could ever be. Only if they knew… I can get his powers 5X.

"Do I look like I care for the opinions of a cowardly fanatic of a random goddess??" Subaru said bluntly with an expressionless voice.

Alyndra's pale white skin was literally turning red with pure anger, but he didn't dare move, proving Subaru's point.

"My existence is blasphemy. Why doesn't that bitch, or any other of Gods just descend and fight me over them? Must be a reason for that, don't you think? I may not be born to a god but it would be a mistake to classify me as a human. Authorities don't serve humans."

Alyndra was completely left speechless at the bluntness, arrogance, and detachment oozing from Subaru's expression.

Oh my god! I was literally taking mental notes. This… This is how you aura farm!

"I am an idiot to even think about inviting you to join the church. If you had allied with her, you would've won, and she surely would've helped you ascend to godhood. But now… All you have is that puny vampire to side with, becoming church's enemy with that, aswell." Alyndra muttered in a low voice, his cold eyes staring at us.

"Yes, you're an idiot for thinking that. A very big idiot." He said before ignoring Alyndra, and nonchalantly turning back to me, as if asking for orders, or information on why he was here.
