Cultivating in the Wizard World

Chapter 91: Adjustment

Jeming couldn't help but chuckle in his heart. To obtain as much resources and knowledge as possible, wizards really racked their brains, even paying attention to the psychological issues of the planes they invaded.

"It's like playing with children!"

He withdrew his gaze and began observing this unfamiliar yet vibrant plane.

The air was filled with dense and chaotic energy.

The atmosphere was marked with remnants of runes left by witchcraft, but more prevalent was the native natural energy and divine energy of the Elorcia Plane.

They intertwined like two rivers, clashing and merging in the air, forming a unique energy field.

Clearly, after prolonged battles, the rules of this plane had begun to be eroded by the wizards.

Even if these apprentices didn't take any effective actions, the plane would inevitably fall to the wizards after a few more years of stalemate.

All around, towering primordial forests blocked most of the sunlight, with ancient trees standing tall, their trunks so thick it would take dozens of people to encircle them.

Strange vines coiled around the trunks like giant pythons, their leaves large and weirdly shaped.

In the distance, came alternating roars of unknown beasts, mixed with the sharp screeches of raptors and the heavy footsteps of some gigantic creature, indicating the wild and dangerous nature of this land.

Above, the sky was a sight to behold.

One part was comprised of rune fortresses constructed by the wizards using powerful alchemy power fused with runes. They floated high above, emitting the cold, orderly light exclusive to wizards, like scars in the sky.

The other part was the projection of the Divine Kingdom manifesting from the divine spirits of the Elorcia Plane, their light sacred and their colors vibrant, dreamlike and illusory.

Two styles of power, drastically different, divided the sky into segments of bizarre, twisted scenes, coexisting conflicting yet intriguingly, silently narrating the tale of a world at the heart of conflict.

Withdrew his gaze from the chaotic sky, Jeming flipped his hand, and several protective witchcraft artifacts appeared in his grip.

Buzz...buzz...buzz...

With a series of glowing flashes, multiple layers of protective magic instantly enveloped Jeming's body.

Squinting slightly, he mobilized the witchcraft model within his Sea of Spirit.

Invisible alchemy fluctuations spread instantly in all directions, conducting a detailed probe of the surrounding environment.

As the alchemy initiated, another witchcraft, the Deciphering Skill, also activated, with both spells working in tandem like countless micro-probes, frantically absorbing every detail of the surrounding.

The energy in the air was no longer merely chaotic. To Jeming's perception, it flowed in unique patterns and densities.

This was starkly different from the Elemental Power of the Nolun13th Plane, which had been tamed after countless generations of wizard modification.

The energy of Elorcia was more primal, wild, even carrying a subtle, almost imperceptible "Life Energy," interwoven with the Power of Faith of the divine spirits, forming a more "active" energy field unknown in the Wizard World.

"Compared to the Nolun Plane, the elemental Spiritual Power affinity here is lower and harder to control, but its activity is higher..." Jeming thought to himself.

This difference meant that wizards casting spells here might experience casting hindrances or reduced efficiency.

If normal witchcraft artifacts were used to cast spells, it would make the spells more unstable, with greater destructiveness but lesser defensiveness.

However, if the wizard cast the spell themselves, this environment would increase the casting time, but once cast, the spell's potency would be significantly higher than at Nolun Academy.

For Jeming, this plane's elemental environment was an advantage. His talisman witchcraft core relied on talismanic absorption of external elements, with spell formation depending on the rune system rather than Spiritual Power.

However...

"Traditional witchcraft artifacts may have limited uses, but their inherent characteristics ensure they can unleash stored spells in any environment, no wonder this type of artifact is highly favored by wizards."

Stability is the most important aspect for wizards who battle across various planes.

But Jeming wasn't stubborn. Since this thing was useful, he didn't mind buying more traditional witchcraft artifacts to use alongside his talisman witchcraft.

Like the protective magic on him now, it was released using orthodox witchcraft artifacts.

Only children make choices, adults want everything!

He quickly fine-tuned and optimized the runes at the core parts of all talisman witchcraft stored in his internal space based on feedback from the differing data.

By making minor changes to the rune structures in certain areas, he adjusted the methods of energy conduction and activation, allowing them to adapt faster to the rules of this new world, ensuring each Energy Bullet could unleash its intended power.

That's the modification Jeming had been doing on talisman witchcraft for years. Compared to traditional witchcraft, talisman witchcraft offers more on sustainability, but is also more susceptible to external environmental influences.

While typical witchcraft might only have a slight change in release time in such an environment, talisman witchcraft, which remains continuously linked with the external environment, might overload and explode before casting even a single spell.

Jeming's solution to this was "modularization."

The majority of the main components and insignificant runes were pre-engraved, while the most crucial talisman remained incomplete.

Upon arriving in a new world, after collecting data on elemental activity through Alchemy and Deciphering Skill, adjustments are made to the talisman needing engraving based on the external environment.

The principle sounds simple, but Jeming spent quite a bit of time just finding suitable materials for rapidly engraving with alchemy.

Later, to concentrate all core talismans and runes into a small area, he redesigned the overall rune structure of the talisman witchcraft.

Yet, after confirming the feasibility of the modular design, Jeming suddenly realized something.

Before this, he subconsciously thought he possessed knowledge from only two worlds, but after adjusting the talisman witchcraft this time, Jeming realized he actually possessed knowledge from three worlds!

Although his previous life in the Technology World lacked Extraordinary Power, certain related concepts could indeed be universally applied!

In the blink of an eye, a complete set of battle-ready talisman witchcraft had already been adjusted.

Allocating some of his focus to continue adjusting the remaining talisman witchcraft in his internal space using alchemy, Jeming beckoned with his hand, and one talisman witchcraft after another appeared on him, quickly arming himself to the teeth.

Buzz...

With a hum, the protective magic on Jeming was replaced by magic released from his talisman witchcraft.

He tuned the protective magic around his body to an invisible state, and feeling the energy fluctuations around him, Jeming finally had some sense of security.

Just as he was about to release a detection-type talisman witchcraft to gather information, a loud noise interrupted his actions.
