"You’re the newcomer, Ling Feng, right?" A gentle voice came from behind Ling Feng.

Ye Mei waved her hand, and a stone table and two stone chairs appeared in front of them.

Ling Feng nodded. "That’s right. I’m very interested in the ruin."

"You should be interested in the Divine Techniques inside the ruin, shouldn’t you?" Ye Mei said with a smile.

Ling Feng spoke softly, "Those are Divine Techniques. Who could possibly resist the temptation of Divine Techniques?"

Ling Feng smiled. "Understood."

Ye Mei nodded, then lifted her hand. Ling Feng’s figure floated toward the passage. A flash of white light followed, and the circular passage vanished.

With a thud, Ling Feng landed heavily in the mountain range.

"Although my strength has been restored, the Power of Laws here is much stronger than outside. My strength is still being suppressed by more than half." Ling Feng thought to himself.

A whistling sound rose as the wind picked up, but to Ling Feng’s surprise, the wind here wasn’t ordinary—it carried a Force of Destruction, the Wind of Extinction.

Looking at the massive storm forming in the distance, the corner of Ling Feng’s mouth twitched. "No way. If I get swept into that, even if I don’t die, I’ll shed a layer of skin."

Glancing around, Ling Feng spun on his heel and charged toward the distant mountains. According to what Ye Mei had said, the palace atop the mountain was where the real ruin lay.

But Ling Feng’s speed clearly couldn’t match the Wind of Extinction. Soon, the wind behind him caught up.

"Gravity Field!" Ling Feng took a deep breath, his body suddenly jerking as he slammed heavily into the ground.

The Wind of Extinction kept battering at Ling Feng, but he stood like a boulder, unmoving.

An hour passed before the Wind of Extinction finally died down. Ling Feng let out a breath of relief, gasping for air. Withstanding the Wind of Extinction for so long had taken quite a toll on him.

But before Ling Feng could fully relax, the sky had already darkened. Strands of purple Thunder Power wove through the clouds. Feeling the might of this Thunder Power, Ling Feng’s expression turned grim again.

"This Thunder Power... it’s actually Destruction Lightning." Ling Feng muttered to himself. "This ruin really is... terrifying."

Ling Feng was certain that once the Destruction Lightning stopped, there would definitely be other destructive Elemental Power following it.

"Right now, that’s the only relatively safe place." Ling Feng took a deep breath and once more looked toward the palace at the mountain peak.

"Charge!" Ling Feng gritted his teeth and rushed toward the palace on the mountain.

Just then, Ling Feng suddenly sensed a faint trace of Killing Aura. He flipped his hand, and a Defensive Shield appeared to his left.

With a thud, a small snake slammed into the Defensive Shield. It wasn’t injured at all; instead, it continued baring its fangs at Ling Feng, flicking its tongue.

"Are all the creatures here insane?" Ling Feng narrowed his eyes, waved his hand, and a streak of Sword Qi flashed past, slicing the little snake’s neck. But the snake, cut into two pieces, actually split into two directions and fled.
