Bai Xifeng casually sat back against Cerberus’s soft fur as if resting on a luxurious couch, while Xiao Li dutifully took her place standing right beside her.

The surrounding guards could not help but stare at them in dead silence, their mouths slightly agape. It certainly was not every day they witnessed someone lounging so casually against the body of a terrifying, three-headed demonic wolf as if it were nothing more than a giant household lapdog!

While the girls waited, the guards wasted no time rushing a runner inside to urgently report the bizarre situation to the higher-ups.

The minister froze dead in his tracks, his eyes bulging. "H-Her contracted beast?!"

The guards quickly whispered a frantic explanation of the whole story to the bewildered officials.

After hearing the full breakdown, the ministers were left even more thoroughly stunned. Their eyes slowly drifted toward Bai Xifeng, who was still comfortably leaning against the giant three-headed wolf as though resting on an expensive throne.
