Chapter 601: A Test?!

One of the Qing Feng Sect disciples went back into Zhao Geng Nian’s residence and reported to their senior martial brother.

The senior martial brother thought for a moment and in turn, reported it to Zhao Geng Nian.

Zhao Geng Nian frowned and stroked his beard when he heard the senior disciple’s briefing.

"That’s all? They are starting to renovate and refurnish the shops?" He asked while he glanced out through the doors in the direction of where the shops were.

"Yes, Peak Lord, that’s what they’ve been doing this morning." The senior disciple cupped his hands and nodded his head at him.

Zhao Geng Nian wasn’t sure if this was a provocation from Lin Xuan Qi or if it was just a business expansion of his.

He closed his eyes and unleashed his Spiritual Sense out towards the area where the shops were.

And in his Spiritual Sea, he sensed that there were only mortals scattered around the area.

And so, the Qing Feng Sect disciple came out from Zhao Geng Nian’s Residence and headed back to where Lin Xuan Qi was.

"You may proceed but if you dare to try anything funny, we will make sure that you regret it." The Qing Feng Sect disciple tapped on the scabbard of his sword and said.

Lin Xuan Qi cupped his hands and replied with a smile, "We will never dare to think of such things."

"Hmph. You better." The Qing Feng Sect disciple waved and the other disciples followed closely behind him and left.

"Alright, let’s get back to work." Lin Xuan Qi turned around, raised his hands at the workers and said.

"Yeah. There’s nothing to be afraid of, do your work and you shall be paid as promised." Old Shao and his team also did the same, supervising the temporary workers with their work.

Lin Xuan Qi stood where he was and glanced over at Zhao Geng Nian’s Residence.
