Huang Weiyi agreed to it and promised that he would act as usual. He wouldn’t retreat and would keep it up until Chen Chuan arrived.

Once the call ended, Huang Weiyi wiped off his sweat. This was a really difficult mission.

When he talked about his subordinate’s ability, he had been quite worried about Chen Chuan head-hunting them, but if Huang Weiyi kept him a secret, he wouldn’t be able to prove how he got the information.

Aside from not wanting to let go of such a talented agent, he also didn’t want to reveal him because this agent suffered a setback from the government before and didn’t trust government officials in the slightest. “Yeah. Chen Chuan gave me some tips,” Wei Dong answered.

“Chen—Oh. Lead Investigator Chen.”

Once he figured out who Wei Dong was referring to, Mr. Jin took another look at him. “No wonder. While Lead Investigator Chen has just become a lecturer, it only makes sense that he’s strong, since he’s a lead investigator.”

Chen Chuan and Wei Dong were coursemates back in Yangzhi City, so there was no problem in Chen Chuan giving Wei Dong some guidance, but he felt a little jealous.

He wouldn’t have minded if Chen Chuan did a bad job teaching Wei Dong, but he had actually been really effective, and that made Mr. Jin look bad.

“A few minutes?”

He couldn’t help feeling frustrated. Wei Dong had great potential and went all-in during training. He, Mr. Jin, was the one who uncovered this diamond buried in the dirt. If Wei Dong trained with him for a few years, he was going to blossom into an amazing martial artist that would shock the world, but now, his diamond seemed to shine with someone else’s help as well, and his sense of achievement was destroyed.

“Wei Dong, do you think that Lead In—I mean, do you think that Mr. Chen is a good teacher?” he asked.

“What about me?” Mr. Jin asked after clearing his throat again.

Wei Dong heard a chime on his Realm Pass. “Wei Dong, are you free right now? We have an emergency mission.”

Wei Dong turned to him. “Mr. Jin, I have an emergency mission.”

“Is that so? Alright. Off you go.”

As Mr. Jin watched Wei Dong run out, he let his words simmer in him for a bit before saying, “Careful. Don’t charge too far ahead of the others.”

Chen Chuan had his driver send him back to Martial Valor University and took a moment to check on the progress of his three students.

They had kept in contact over the past few days, and he could correct some of their mistakes through the platform.

Based on their current state, they hadn’t encountered any problems in their training.

Fan Cheng and Kong Yao would need a few months to see the effects of their training. Meanwhile, Jiang Xin was a smart student. It had only been around twenty days, but he had improved by leaps and bounds. Sometimes, he would even tentatively but respectfully ask some questions.

If Jiang Xin took the time to actually think about them, he could find the answers himself, but he asked Chen Chuan for guidance to make himself appear to be a studious student with limited potential.

Chen Chuan only smiled at that and ignored his little schemes. As long as Jiang Xin asked for guidance, he would answer honestly. Besides, Jiang Xin was tactful. He never asked a lot of questions and didn’t do it frequently.

Aside from these three, no other student chose Chen Chuan’s courses.

He heard a long cry from his Realm Pass and saw a black dot swiftly moving forward. Dawncall had arrived ahead of him and sent the images from above to Chen Chuan’s Realm Pass.
