Chapter 1283: Carried Away

Chapter 1283: Carried Away

Figures surged like a tide, pouring through the breach torn open by the wind pillar and rushing into the grand array.

On the battlefield, Qingjun and the others who controlled the array artifacts did not move. They remained fully focused on condensing the wind’s power, relentlessly attacking the sky lake and tearing at space itself.

The cultivators of the Two-Domain Alliance could only be described as flooding in.

Though the incoming cultivators appeared somewhat chaotic, every squad maintained formation and discipline. Tempered through countless battles, all of them understood that disorder on the battlefield meant death.

Qin Sang held a wooden plaque in one hand while idly playing with the Qilin Hairpin in the other as he drifted gracefully into the sky lake.

Through the torn waters, the true appearance of Shuangjing Mountain could be faintly seen.

Snow blanketed the mountain. The cultivators of Sin Abyss stood in orderly ranks, their expressions solemn. At the sight of the invading enemy, they dove downward amid battle cries, streams of light shooting forth.

The rupture in the sky lake was uneven, forcibly dividing the battlefield into numerous smaller zones.

Here, waves and mist intertwined. Both sides harnessed the power of their arrays to grind down their opponents. Lightning and flames erupted across heaven and earth, and all kinds of attacks manifested in rapid succession.

Both sides had prepared in advance, each employing their own methods, evading or resisting as needed. Amid this chaos, everyone clashed together in brutal combat.

Qin Sang wove between the arrays. He activated the Qilin Hairpin, and whenever an opportunity appeared, he showed no mercy, even if the opponent was only at the Core Formation Realm or Foundation Building Realm.

Following Madam Luo’s habits, Qin Sang kept the Qilin Hairpin floating before his chest. At times, it shot out streaks of hairpin shadows like flying swords. At others, it transformed into a small Qilin, viciously lunging at enemies and striking fear into their hearts.

He quietly observed his surroundings, waiting for enemies to come to him.

After harvesting several lives, Qin Sang sensed something. He frowned slightly as he turned to look toward another battlefield. After a moment of thought, he moved in that direction without drawing attention.

In that area, several squads from the Two-Domain Alliance stood out strikingly.

These squads were not only composed of Core Formation cultivators but also Demonic Core Realm beasts, charging deep into enemy ranks and wreaking havoc, leaving opponents in disarray.

They were none other than Li Yufu, Mei Gu, and the fat chicken.

With the great battle underway, no one could remain uninvolved. Qin Sang had intentionally allowed them to temper themselves, assigning each to lead a squad and grouping them together for mutual support.

Yet Qin Sang knew well the fate of those who stood out too much on the battlefield. These juniors clearly had not grasped that lesson.

Among them, who could be more flamboyant than the fat chicken? Recently, he had been in high spirits. After successfully breaking through to the late stage of the Demonic Core Realm, personally killing his enemy, and rescuing his birth mother, his mood had soared.

Jingyu was still on the way and could not make it in time for this battle. However, before departing, Jingyu had prepared several protective treasures for him.

With his powerful bloodline, the fat chicken had already been among the strongest at his level. Now, he was even more formidable, nearly unmatched, displaying overwhelming might.

As he fought with growing excitement, the fat chicken shouted loudly alongside his troublesome companion, the white crane.

Although Li Yufu and the others managed to remain calm, their strength fell short of the fat chicken’s. They had nearly failed to keep up with him, and after catching up, they tried hard to persuade him to hold back.

Several squads of Sin Abyss cultivators charged in from the front, their momentum fierce and clearly directed at them. It was already too late to retreat, and everyone had no choice but to meet the attack head-on.

"Go!" The fat chicken unleashed the Lightning Thought Orb, carried away as he beat his wings forward with effortless flair, looking imposing and domineering. The white crane, eager to stir up even more chaos, loudly cheered him on, and even Yue’er could not restrain him.

A Lightning-Devouring Falcon formed of lightning shot straight into the enemy ranks, followed closely by the attacks of Li Yufu and the others.

The Sin Abyss cultivators sensed the threat, their expressions changing slightly. They quickly gathered together, drawing upon the power of their array for protection while activating their astras and artifacts to resist.

Boom! The falcon exploded the moment it was blocked.

The Lightning Thought Orb had been reforged by Jingyu and given to him. It was now vastly different from before. Combined with his own strength, its power was extraordinary.

Within the blinding lightning, countless arcs scattered in all directions, and cries of alarm and agony echoed from within.

The fat chicken laughed loudly, bathed in lightning as he led his squad forward in a fierce charge.

Unfortunately, the Sin Abyss cultivators were not so easily defeated. Having already witnessed the fat chicken’s performance, they had prepared for it. Though they appeared miserable, their injuries were not severe, and they quickly organized a counterattack.

Darkness suddenly fell before their group as earthen spikes erupted from the ground, their sharp tips aimed at them as they shot forward.

Startled, they halted their escape light and activated their artifacts and astras to shatter the spikes.

Bang! Bang! Bang! The spikes shattered, sending fragments flying.

Taking advantage of the moment, the Sin Abyss cultivators reformed their formation and pressed forward. Several heated gazes locked onto the Lightning Thought Orb, clearly coveting the treasure.

Enraged, the fat chicken crushed the remaining spikes with his claws and ordered an immediate assault.

The high-tier cultivators of Sin Abyss exchanged glances and subtly adjusted their formation, deliberately dragging out the fight against his side.

For a time, the battle descended into chaos, multicolored lights flashing as both sides exchanged blows in rapid succession.

The fat chicken failed to gain any advantage. With several opponents specifically targeting him, he found himself increasingly constrained. Gradually, he regained his composure and finally realized that no matter how strong he was, he could not act as freely as a Transformation Realm great demon.

Just as he calmed down and prepared to make corrections, Li Yufu's sudden shout of urgency came from behind. "Junior Sister, be careful!"

The one being called was Mei Gu, Qin Sang’s newly accepted disciple. Li Yufu cared deeply about Qingyang Temple, even more so than Qin Sang. Mei Gu was the temple’s second Core Formation disciple after him, and they had been close this whole time.

During the chaotic battle, their formation had unknowingly split apart, and Mei Gu had failed to keep up.

A shadow suddenly appeared on the ground. Twisted and grotesque, it was nauseating to behold as it lunged toward Mei Gu.

Having dealt with Sin Abyss for so long, they immediately recognized it. This was a monster formed from the Nether Crystal Tower, controlled by someone in secret for hunting!

There were similar numbers of Spiritual Infant cultivators in the Shuangjing Mountain camp and the Two-Domain Alliance. Each bore immense responsibility and pressure.

While confronting the opposing force, they could not spare attention to the low-tier cultivators' battlefield. But whenever they acted, they did so with the intent to kill!

Everyone panicked and rushed to provide support. Yet the Sin Abyss cultivators had been waiting for this moment. How could they allow an easy rescue? They immediately launched a frenzied counterattack.

Mei Gu, having led a sect through countless hardships, was in fact more experienced than the fat chicken and Li Yufu. Upon realizing she had been isolated, she showed no panic. The Seven Yang Ruler struck head-on at the monster, and at the same time, a mirror appeared before her chest, releasing a beam of white light toward it. But neither attack could kill the creature.

She bought a brief moment. The fat chicken and Li Yufu barely forced back their opponents. Just then, a streak of light shot in at incredible speed. It was a fierce Qilin, which tore the monster to pieces in a few swift motions.

Cold sweat broke out across everyone’s backs. They looked up and saw a graceful young woman flying toward them.
