Hua Yusen moved his legs, lifting them. He smiled and said, "I think I can get out of bed and walk."

"Okay." Hua Yusen obediently lay down and waited for Doctor Wu to examine him.

After Doctor Wu finished his thorough examination, he gave a few more instructions and then left the room.

The moment Doctor Wu was gone, Hua Yusen bolted the door.

Hua Yusen walked to the bathroom door and said with a grin, "Little Nuanyue, you can come out now."

Only then did Zhao Nuanyue open the door, tiptoeing out.

"Whether I’m weak or not... you of all people should know," Hua Yusen said with a roguish grin. "Or, maybe you don’t. In that case, we’ll just have to test it out later."

Hearing this, Zhao Nuanyue’s gaze softened as she looked back at him. "You’re the man I love. I’ve given you my heart, and I’ll stay by your side for the rest of my life."
