Just as Tang Mo was rapidly ascending away from the danger zone, she felt a colossal surge from below, as fierce as an undersea volcano erupting.

Underwater creatures scattered in every direction. Then, in an instant, it was as if a great mountain was on the move.

Tang Mo glanced down but couldn’t see its full form, only a massive black shadow moving off to the side.

It moved with incredible speed. If not for its immense size, it would have vanished from Tang Mo’s sight almost instantly.

It seemed Da Jing was still being considerate of her. If he had truly moved upward, he would have knocked her aside no matter how fast she ascended.

"Fast! So fast! This is amazing!"

The massive body shot through the water again and again, savoring the taste of freedom. Its voice was filled with glee.

Not once since the apocalypse began and his body grew to its immense size had Da Jing felt such exhilaration in the water.

For the longest time, his immobility had made him feel like a mountain on the seabed.

Even hunting required nothing more than opening his mouth.

He had grown sick of that life long ago!

"So, are you satisfied with trading the Life Force pearl for this method?"

"Alright, they’re all yours."

Tang Mo sighed in resignation. Dealing with Da Jing was no different than humoring a child.

Massive waves surged toward Tang Mo, and she could feel Da Jing approaching.

Soon, an enormous mouth appeared beneath Tang Mo. At this close distance, it was no longer a pitch-black cavern but revealed the soft pink flesh within.

"Go on in and find it yourself."

Da Jing sounded a bit embarrassed. The pearl was simply too small for him to handle, so he couldn’t find a proper place to keep it. Yet he knew what a precious treasure it was, given the energy it contained.

Left with no other choice, he had hidden it in his mouth. That way, it would always be with him and wouldn’t get lost.

However, since some time had passed and he hadn’t paid it much mind, Da Jing could only sense that the pearl with its immense energy was still somewhere in his mouth, but he had no idea of its exact location.

A grimace formed on Tang Mo’s face.

’Fine,’ she thought. ’Seems I can’t escape my fate of going inside again. At least this time it’s just his mouth. I should be grateful the big guy didn’t say he’d accidentally swallowed it and that it’s in his stomach.’
