Reborn One Week Before the Apocalypse

Chapter 490: Final - (End of the Main Story)

With Tang Mo’s promise secured, Qin Ling stopped complaining that it was too soon to fuse the Five Beads and dropped all talk of her needing more rest.

The moment they left Lin Yi’s tent, he was dragging Tang Mo away, intent on transferring the Agility Pearl to her.

If Tang Mo hadn’t resisted with all her might, insisting on eating first, he wouldn’t have let her rest for a moment.

After lunch, the two of them began the process. They had Lin Yu and the Sect Leader stand guard outside, leaving only Qin Ling and Tang Mo inside the tent.

With a spiritual power master like Tang Mo there, no one else’s help was needed, and the Agility Pearl was smoothly transferred from Qin Ling into her body.

The entire process took only half an hour. It was so fast that when they came out, the Sect Leader and Lin Yu were startled, afraid that such a short time meant the transfer had failed.

“No way, that fast?”

Lin Yu blurted out.

Qin Ling’s face darkened. His previous joy evaporated, and he walked off by himself.

“What’s wrong with him?”

Lin Yu was baffled.

Tang Mo didn’t know how to explain that Qin Ling had taken Lin Yu’s words the wrong way and felt his pride had been wounded.

So she could only say,

“Do me a favor and let it go.”

Lin Yu nodded in understanding. Considering how much Qin Ling had sacrificed for everyone, he decided not to hold it against him.

That night, Qin Ling was still hung up on what Lin Yu had said and wanted to prove his prowess.

‘After all, the wedding date is set,’ he thought. ‘It wouldn’t hurt to do some things a little early, right?’

However, Tang Mo ruthlessly kicked him out that night. She genuinely had something to do—Qin Ling’s Agility Pearl needed to be re-fused.

Qin Ling was terribly aggrieved at first, but when he considered that fusing the bead faster meant they could get married sooner, he endured it and quietly returned to his own tent.

Tang Mo was very experienced with fusing beads. Besides, this particular bead had been fused before. All she needed to do now was wash away Qin Ling’s energy signature and stamp her own on it.

This wasn’t a difficult task for Tang Mo. She finished it quickly and then had a wonderful night’s sleep.

The next day, Tang Mo called Qin Ling over to stand guard at her tent entrance while she began the fusion of the Five Beads inside.

Tang Mo had read the instructions for the fusion countless times. While it might have been difficult for others, for someone like Tang Mo, who had reforged her own sea of consciousness, it wasn’t hard at all.

In her sea of consciousness, the Five Beads emitted their own distinct lights before gradually drawing closer. The five types of energy merged into one.

Finally, they formed an even smaller bead that shone with a seven-colored light. The moment it formed, Tang Mo’s tent erupted in a brilliant glow. A colossal, seven-colored beam of light shot out from the tent, reaching to the heavens.

Everyone, whether inside the protected zone or nearby, stopped what they were doing and looked over.

They all knew that was Tang Mo’s location, and they all knew what was happening there.

They had been waiting for this day for a very long time.

A familiar, forceful notification popped up on their ID Watches.

Congratulations to the human Tang Mo for completing the fusion of the Five Beads. Now awaiting the successful one to state their wish.

At that moment, everyone held their breath, waiting. Their eyes were all fixed in the same direction, their feet rooted to the spot as if nailed to the ground.

“Please state your wish.”

Inside the tent, Tang Mo heard a voice.

Tang Mo smiled. The moment had finally come. She then spoke the answer she had agonized over for days, the one she had long since prepared.

“I wish for the glaciers to melt and for humanity to enter a new and wonderful world.”

________________________________END OF MAIN TEXT.

Hello everyone. We’ve reached the point where Tang Mo and Qin Ling must say goodbye.

But please don’t be in a hurry to delete the book! Ranran will be writing some fun extra chapters and updating them irregularly, so please come back for those~

I’m truly, truly grateful for everyone’s companionship on this journey. You’ve all given Ranran so much support and motivation.

This is my first book that I’ve successfully completed, and also my first million-character novel.

But it won’t stop here. There will be more million-character stories to meet you all in the future.

Since this is my first book, many parts may not be perfect, but I’m trying my best. I will definitely improve in the future. Each book will be better than the last—that’s both my hope for myself and my promise to all of you.

I’ve really thought of a lot of fun ideas for post-apocalyptic extra chapters. I originally posted them in the free “Author’s Notes” section, hoping everyone could help me decide what to write based on what you like.

But unfortunately, after I posted it, many of my dear readers told me they couldn’t see it, so I apologize. I can only write them here.

Here, Ranran can give a few examples to point you in some directions:

For example,

The two Illusion World missions that Qin Ling experienced

Tang Mo and Qin Ling’s wedding, their married life, and even them raising kids

The story of Xiao Tao and Xu the Third

Lin Yi’s own story within the protected zone (Tang Mo’s mom is no ordinary woman)

The story of Lin Yi and Wen Jianshu (For the same reason as above—there’s a reason Wen Jianshu loved her so deeply. This kind of extra chapter will show you a different side of Mrs. Lin, hahahahaha)

The story of Qin Ling and the Qin Family

Lin Yu’s Illusion Realm story and his love story (I can set him up with a romantic partner)

Yangyang’s story after growing up (Surely no one ships a Yangyang x Xianxian pairing, right…?)

An extra chapter for Momo (I don’t know if you all still remember that thoughtful little girl who chose to stay in the Illusion Realm)

The final story of An Yang and Qin Fen (These two characters aren’t villains in the truest sense. From another perspective, they were actually quite impressive—determined, persevering, and intelligent. They were the protagonists of their own stories.)

………………………

I came up with so many without even realizing it, hahahahaha

I’m very attached to this book, so I can probably write almost any extra chapter you want.

I hope you all give me lots of suggestions. Don’t be shy, tell me what you want to see!

You can leave a comment, find me in the reader QQ group at 399816294, or find me on Weibo: Ranranjintiangaogaoxingxingdema.

(There will be cash giveaways in the reader group and raffles on Weibo. Feel free to join in~)

Finally, what I want to say to everyone is this:

I will never stop working hard. Thank you all for your companionship. It is you, the best readers, who make me feel invincible.

If you find any errors ( broken links, non-standard content, etc.. ), Please let us know < report chapter > so we can fix it as soon as possible.
