Jia Hao walked casually as he finally reached the Sanguine Gold Pavilion. Just like its name, there was a giant building standing before him. The walls were made from expensive red sandalwood, with pure gold poured in the carvings, like ornaments on display.

Jia Hao smiled as he looked at Janice, " Well, if you wanted to meet again, you wouldn’t have left in the first place."

" Excuse me, I have some work in my family, rather than lying in your arms for the entire night." Janice retorted, " Besides, have I not given you the token? You could have shown it in the main gate."

As Janice and Jia Hao were talking, a sudden figure approached Janice.

" Greetings, Lady Janice." A young man approached her, putting on a flattering smile. His outer robe was made from a beast skin; the fur was luxurious. However, the skin was giving off an aura of bloodlust, making the young man look intimidating.

" Ke Yuan, what do you want?" Janice’s flirty smile instantly soured as she looked at Ke Yuan. Ke Yuan’s expression stiffened at Janice’s tone, but he still continued.

" Lady Janice, today’s auction was indeed wonderful. I wish to invite you for lunch. There is some treasure I wish you could appraise for me."

" You can bring it to our appraisal hall. I am sure there are many others who can do it better for me." Janice suddenly held Jia Hao’s hand. " My dear, Let’s go."

" Yo-you!!"

Ke Yuan jumped forward as he blocked their path, " Janice, why are you avoiding me? Have I not confessed my feelings for you? I have..."

" Brother, she is not interested in you." Jia Hao replied in a flat tone. " So please, move out of the way. You are simply wasting everyone’s time here, including yours."

" Bastard! Who are you to talk in the middle?!" Ke Yuan snarled as he pointed at Janice, " If you wish to stay in Blood Leaf City without any issue, you better apologize and fuck off."

Janice smirked as rather than helping Jia Hao, she appeared to be shocked, " Good question, Ke Yuan. Hey you!" Janice hugged Jia Hao’s arm, " We have been together, yet you didn’t even tell me your name. I am so silly."

Before Jia Hao could react, he suddenly saw Ke Yuan jumping forward, striking his chest with his palm.

*BOOOM!*

Ke Yuan’s expression changed from a cruel smile to shock as he saw Jia Hao simply standing there as usual. But Jia Hao’s playful expression turned dead serious.

" That’s all?"
