Following closely behind were thirty Freedom Gundams.
These eighteen-meter-tall Humanoid Golems shot out of the rifts with their arms stretched forward. Their Titan Magic Steel armor reflected the blue-white light of the turbulent spatial currents as they clustered around five Gabriels, which were as pure and holy as Angels.
Then came the PX-3s.
In just one second, thirty of them surged out from each Space Gate simultaneously. Three hundred Peacekeeper PX-3s emerged from the blue-white rifts in a three-machine combat formation. Their frames were thick and sturdy, with black heavy armor covering their entire bodies. The dual-purpose Dragon Cavalry Floating Cannon Systems on their shoulders and backs activated immediately after exiting the Space Gates. Their propulsion engines ignited, blooming in the void like four petals.
With three hundred blooming simultaneously, it became one thousand two hundred “petals.”
The second batch was another three hundred, following the exact same process. Exiting, unfolding, igniting engines, and forming up. Before the first batch of PX-3s could even complete their formation, the second batch had already poured out from behind them to fill in the flanks of the frontline.
The third batch, the fifth batch, the seventh batch.
The ten Space Gates were like ten open faucets, with each rift endlessly spewing out steel.
The PX-3s shot out from the blue-white rifts one after another, row by row. Their Dragon Cavalry Systems deployed the moment they exited, with their propulsion engines trailing orange-red exhaust flames like sparks bursting in the void. They arranged themselves into a neat combat formation around the Ten Thousand Miles of Sunshine according to Jarvis’s pre-set parameters—spreading out horizontally and extending in depth, with a standard distance of two hundred meters maintained between each unit.
In less than five minutes, the originally empty void around the Ten Thousand Miles of Sunshine was filled with twelve thousand Heavy Armored Golems equipped with Dragon Cavalry Floating Cannon Systems, four hundred Storm Falcons, thirty Freedom Gundams, and five Gabriels. The dense points of light from the propulsion engines looked like a cluster of stars transplanted into the depths of deep space.
The last to appear were the Hive Mother Ships.
One hundred and twenty inverted-pyramid-shaped steel monsters slowly sailed out of the final round of Space Gates. Their matte-black heavy armor looked like one hundred and twenty suspended mountains of iron amidst the blue-white spatial turbulence. Their hexagonal Hive pores opened the moment they exited, and a dense swarm of Mad Bee drones poured out.
One hundred and forty-four thousand half-meter-long killing units formed a churning cloud of black smoke, scattering around the periphery of the entire formation like a startled swarm of locusts.
The Space Gates began to close. The blue-white rifts contracted and vanished as the spatial turbulence subsided. The Sea of Magical Power returned to a state of calm.
However, the D-24 sector was no longer peaceful.
With the Ten Thousand Miles of Sunshine at its core, a “nebula” made of steel expanded outward, unfurling into a breathtaking metallic flower against the dim backdrop of deep space. Every PX-3 was a silent petal, and every set of Floating Cannon units was suspended pollen. Four hundred Storm Falcons darted between the petals like bees, while the one hundred and twenty Hive Mother Ships acted as the flower’s ovaries, incubating endless destruction.
They slowly and uniformly pressed forward.
On the bridge of the White Bone Throne, the noisy laughter and chatter from moments ago vanished without a trace. All that remained were the dense red dots on the Perception Crystal, representing enemy units, rapidly expanding and almost dyeing the entire screen the color of blood.
The Skeleton Duke’s withered hand, which had been preparing to give the order to attack, froze in mid-air. The two clumps of eerie green Soul Fire beneath his hood throbbed violently and madly.
“No, decelerate… Entire fleet… decelerate!”
However, it was already too late.
The fleet charging at full speed through the Sea of Magical Power carried massive inertia, and they were now less than six hundred kilometers away from that silent forest of steel exuding the aura of death.
