Hearing Sheng Chuanchua’s words, Ye Yue Taishun wanted to curse. He had been the one to face Su Qing first, bearing the brunt of her most ferocious attacks. He could feel that Su Qing had focused most of her energy on him. Just then, Sheng Chuanchua finished placing all the Array Wood. He sneered at Su Qing. "Little girl, you’re quite skilled. It’s a pity you’re so inexperienced. You must remember, there are two of us. How could you focus on one person and completely ignore the other?"

As he spoke, Sheng Chuanchua chuckled, a smug look on his face. The Array Plate in his hand hummed as he prepared to activate it. "Little girl, since you ran out here to make enemies with no experience, you can just accept your fate today."

"You... How could you—" Sheng Chuanchua didn’t finish. He suddenly saw numerous vines snaking toward him. Startled, he tried to dodge, but found he couldn’t move. A closer look revealed that his feet were bound fast by extremely thin, thread-like stems.

"Bastard!" Sheng Chuanchua cursed in Japanese, a mix of shock and fury, and swung his sword at the vines lunging for him.

Su Qing smiled and stood her ground. It was only during this battle that she realized something. After undergoing Washing Marrow, although the variety of her superpower’s techniques hadn’t increased, her senses were now far more acute, and her combat power was on a level completely incomparable to before.
