Chapter 635 - 583: Stunning Everyone

Chapter 635: Chapter 583: Stunning Everyone

The Maple City Mage Tower.

All the Mages and Mage Apprentices of the Mage Tower had gathered in the Mage Tower Plaza.

The white-haired Rota stood at the very front of the crowd.

In front of him was a young man.

He looked as young as any of the Mage Apprentices in the tower.

However, everyone knew the man before them was not as young as he appeared.

He was one of the legends of the Maple City Mage Tower.

The legendary figure—Li Wei.

The Maple City Mage Tower had two legendary figures.

One was the Tower Master, Torresta, whose power was unfathomably deep.

To this day, no one knew the true extent of Torresta’s strength.

At first, people thought he was a Tier Four Great Mage, but they later discovered he was even stronger than a Tier Five Great Mage.

Later still, they found out he was a Tier Six Peak Great Mage.

However, someone had once seen Torresta fight a Cardinal from the Light Divine Sect.

They were evenly matched, and he emerged unscathed.

Thus, no one dared to claim they knew Torresta’s true strength.

The other legend was the genius, Li Wei.

He was hailed as the greatest genius the Northern Territory had seen in a thousand years.

In just two short years, he had become a Grand Mage Level powerhouse.

It was simply unimaginable.

Li Wei had long been the poster boy for the Maple City Mage Tower.

Back then, while Torresta was still present, countless people had flocked to the Maple City Mage Tower, drawn by Li Wei’s reputation as a genius. They came hoping to follow in his footsteps, and some even harbored thoughts of competing with him.

Later, when Li Wei returned to Maple City from the Elemental Tower, everyone was stunned to learn he had become a Grand Mage.

Li Wei had once again shattered everyone’s understanding of the world.

He grew stronger at a speed no one could comprehend.

Twenty years passed, and the legend had appeared once more at the Maple City Mage Tower.

Eagerness was written on everyone’s faces.

Two Tier Four Great Mages standing behind Rota asked in a low voice, "Teacher Rota, what level is Mage Li Wei now?"

Rota shook his head. "I don’t know either."

The two exchanged a glance, their expressions thoughtful as they stared at Li Wei’s back.

Neither of them could sense the slightest Magic Fluctuation from Li Wei.

This meant Li Wei’s strength far surpassed their own.

This didn’t surprise them in the least.

The two had once been huge admirers of Li Wei. In fact, it was because of him that they had stayed at the Maple City Mage Tower instead of leaving, which was how they were able to achieve what they had today.

Twenty years ago, Li Wei had already become a Tier Four Great Mage.

They figured that after twenty years, Li Wei must have become a Tier Six Great Mage.

Perhaps even a Legendary Mage.

One of them asked quietly, "Teacher Rota, what are we doing here?"

"Waiting for someone," Rota said.

"Waiting for someone?"

Hearing this, the two looked puzzled.

’Is some big shot from Maple City coming to the Mage Tower?’

Soon, the sight before them robbed them of their ability to think.

Without any visible action from Li Wei, a four-meter-tall, circular Teleportation Gate appeared in the plaza.

"A Teleportation Gate?"

Gasps of surprise erupted from the crowd.

For many, it was their first time ever seeing a Teleportation Gate.

Teleportation Arrays were common enough.

But Teleportation Gates were extremely rare. Typically, only a few High Level Magic Items or a Space Mage could open one.

Rota watched Li Wei, his expression calm; he wasn’t surprised.

When Li Wei had suddenly appeared inside the Mage Tower, he already knew that Li Wei’s realm of power was beyond his imagination.

He wouldn’t have been surprised by anything Li Wei did.

The two Tier Four Great Mages were stunned.

They knew Li Wei was an Elemental Mage; they never expected him to have also mastered Space Magic.

One of them suddenly remembered something. "I recall the original Golden Magic Book seemed to record two Space Magic spells."

"Oh, right, I remember now too! I just couldn’t learn them no matter how hard I tried, so I gave up."

The two quickly calmed down and looked toward the Teleportation Gate.

On the other side of the Teleportation Gate was an Ice and Snow Land.

Suddenly, the Teleportation Gate rippled. The scene within shifted, and a large number of figures appeared.

There were humans, Beastmen, goblins, and Dwarves, all mixed together in what looked like a chaotic jumble.

And yet, they were surprisingly orderly.

They were actually lining up.

A figure appeared before the Teleportation Gate.

HUM!

Gu Sewei was the first to step through the Teleportation Gate.

In the Maple City Mage Tower Plaza, Gu Sewei’s figure slowly emerged from the Teleportation Gate.

Seeing Gu Sewei holding the Frost Staff, the two Tier Four Great Mages froze in a daze.

It wasn’t because of her beauty, but because of the unique aura about her.

The aura of a Legendary Mage.

"A L-Legend... a Legendary Mage!"

one of them exclaimed in shock.

Hearing this, Rota was also taken aback for a moment, looking at Gu Sewei with some surprise.

He only knew that Li Wei was bringing some people over.

He never expected a Legendary Mage to be among them.

Li Wei’s clone saw Gu Sewei and said with a smile, "Weiwei, welcome to Maple City. This is the Maple City Mage Tower."

Gu Sewei saw a figure identical to Li Wei appear before her.

She wasn’t too surprised.

Li Wei had already told her about this.

Gu Sewei looked up at the seven-story Mage Tower before her.

"So this is the place where you and your brother used to live."

Gu Sewei snapped back to reality and said, "They’ll be coming over shortly. There are quite a few Alien Races among the survivors, which might cause some trouble here."

Li Wei smiled. "It’s alright. We’ll let them settle in the Mage Tower for now. Someone will handle where they go from here later."
