Chapter 830 - 554: War Is Coming World Destruction Forbidden Spell

Chapter 830: Chapter 554: War Is Coming, World Destruction Forbidden Spell

A chilling light flickered in his eyes.

"What we need to do is take the stars in the sky..." He raised his hand, pointed at the sky, and squeezed out a sentence through gritted teeth, enunciating every word. It was a statement enough to move even the gods. "...and invite one down!"

Invite a star down? Could war even be fought like this?! This was no longer a war; this was tampering with astronomical phenomena, exercising the authority of gods!

"The World Destruction Forbidden Spell, ’Fallen Stars’." Mage Delin spoke the name that was enough to strike terror into the heart of anyone who knew of it.

"We will pool everyone’s power, with eleven Catastrophe Level mages as the main force, to leverage the rules of the world. From the Endless Void, we will pull down a real star and have it... accurately smash into this sea area!" He fiercely drew a circle over a patch of sea on the sand table, his voice rising with fervor.

"Before their fleet can react, our Star-Attracting Array will be completed. By the time the enemy responds, the star will already have been fully drawn in. When the star falls to the mortal realm, even if their seven Catastrophe Level experts join forces, they won’t be able to change their set destiny.

"This is a true World Destruction Forbidden Spell! By then, whatever Holy Fleet, whatever Catastrophe Level powerhouses, and even... this very sea itself, will instantly evaporate! The entire world will witness the first firework blooming from Mage City after a thousand years!"

Dead silence filled the hall.

Even Fernando Mage, who had just brought back the intel and was half-dead from exhaustion, now widened his eyes in absolute shock.

Raylo looked at Mage Delin, who seemed almost maddened, as monstrous waves surged in his heart. He finally understood how Mage City had been able to arm-wrestle the Light Holy See for a thousand years. This madness and violence hidden beneath reason and knowledge was their true foundation! They might remain motionless, but when they struck, they were bound to shock the entire world!

Mage Delin’s gaze finally fell back onto Raylo. Those eyes, burning with unseen flames, seemed capable of seeing right through his soul. He spoke slowly, his voice carrying a strange rhythm—sounding like an interrogation, yet also filled with expectation.

"Raylo... Did those eyes of yours that can ’foresee’ the future happen to... see this scene of a star falling to the world?"

World Destruction Forbidden Spell? Pulling a star? Evaporating the sea? Only one word remained in Raylo’s mind!

Lunatics! They were all a bunch of fucking lunatics!

These mages appeared so polite on ordinary days, deeply immersed in knowledge and truth. Who would have thought that such reality-subverting madness hid deep in their bones!

Raylo took a deep breath, forcefully suppressing his turbulent emotions. Looking at Master Delin’s eyes that seemed to burn with starlight flames, he slowly shook his head.

"Master Delin, my ability is not omniscient and omnipotent," he said, his voice completely calm without the slightest ripple. "The future is like a surging river with countless tributaries. What I can glimpse is perhaps just the most inconspicuous one among them."

He neither admitted nor denied it. This kind of ambiguous rhetoric was the fundamental self-cultivation of a qualified "charlatan."

Sure enough, Mage Delin revealed an expression that said, "Just as I thought." He did not seem surprised by this answer. Instead, he nodded, as if confirming a certain conjecture.

"It does not matter." Mage Delin moved his gaze away from Raylo and let it fall back onto the sand table. "We shouldn’t pin our hopes on ethereal prophecies. We only believe in calculations, logic, and... enough Magic Power to flip the chessboard."

He patted the shoulder of Fernando Mage, who was still standing in a daze beside him. "Fernando, your mission is complete, and the intel is crucial. Go get some rest; leave the rest to us."

"Ah... alright, okay." Awakened from his stupor, Fernando glanced at Delin and then at Raylo before drifting out of the hall with a complex look in his eyes.

Only Raylo and Delin were left in the hall.

"Raylo, come with me." Mage Delin turned around and walked toward the lounge on one side of the hall.

Raylo followed.

Inside the lounge, the tense, swords-drawn atmosphere of the main hall was gone. The flames in the fireplace burned quietly, letting out soft CRACKLE sounds.

Mage Delin carefully took out a fist-sized object from his Spatial Bag. The moment it appeared, the Magic Elements in the entire room instantly became active, as if paying homage to their sovereign. It looked like an unpolished crystal, displaying a deep, chaotic color throughout. Inside, billions of stars seemed to be born and extinguished in a constant cycle, emitting an ancient, vast, and supreme aura.

Just by looking at it, Raylo felt his Spiritual Power passively being drawn and purified by it. The Magic Power and Fighting Spirit inside his body also began to accelerate uncontrollably.

"Good heavens..." he thought. "It’s a World Power Crystal, just far larger than the fragment I saw before."

Raylo’s heart stirred.

"This is the gift I promised you earlier," Mage Delin said, handing the crystal over.

Raylo reached out with both hands and accepted it solemnly.

As the crystal touched his hands, an indescribable heaviness set in. It wasn’t physically heavy, but rather possessed a "weight" originating from the very rules of the world. It felt as though he was holding up a small fragment of the world’s authority.

Space distorted slightly around his palms as the fist-sized crystal rested securely in his hands. A vast, boundless power originating from the world’s core washed over him!

"The World Power Crystal," Mage Delin explained. "The most fundamental power refined from the remains of the Nine-headed Demon Serpent Hydra."
