Evolution Begins with Elemental Domination

Chapter 315: Elemental City Ruins Archaeological Magic Guide Technology

By the time Su Chen and the other two turned to leave, the Eastern Float people in the mountain pass had already completely withdrawn.

After a moment of thought, Little Zeus borrowed a Town Recall Scroll from someone and followed them.

This temporary team of three men and one woman was exceptionally well-equipped. Xiaodouding Bao alone was ranked 27th on the contribution leaderboards. They could practically run rampant, capable of charging into even the most dangerous of places.

‘Looks like there’s some infighting.’

Su Chen gazed toward the border of Oran City. An Annihilation Beam swept across the sky, and several orange-red flares of light shone on the distant horizon—the effect of Elemental detonations.

“Haha, they’re fighting amongst themselves. Don’t tell me other factions are trying to clean out Lorentz Manor,” Wild Beast said with a gloating expression.

The world is just one big, shoddy production.

At the very least, the four united ruling powers of Oran City were a perfect illustration of this theory.

Instead of fending off outside enemies, a group of them saw the damage to Lorentz Manor and likely got ideas about looting it, which ended up angering the mysterious Skeleton Giant standing guard.

‘If I’m not mistaken, that mysterious Skeleton Giant must be controlled by a Soul Artifact.’

As for the origin of the bones…

Little Zeus added a crucial piece of information.

“When I was attacking the manor’s warehouse earlier, I also found some discarded human skeletons—likely the remains of rift cave dwellers—as well as the bones of some large magical beasts.”

‘That sounds like a cobbled-together Skeleton Beast.’

The death knights that came from the Netherworld obviously followed the same method.

Meanwhile, flesh-and-blood creations from another evolutionary system hidden in the rift zones had long since become widespread. Their origins were the subject of rampant speculation, as officials had offered no detailed explanations.

“Let’s go.”

Su Chen paid it no mind and quickly set off in the direction indicated by the Unsealing Key.

According to what Captain Zhang had said earlier, the target area was tentatively located over eighty kilometers west of Oran City, which was no short distance.

As they skirted diagonally around the city’s outskirts, they came across an Olan People border post and proceeded to take it out.

Several soldiers were killed instantly from beyond visual range, unable to even send out a warning signal.

Meanwhile, a modified tank patrolling near the border town was furiously charged by Wild Beast himself. He slammed into its side tracks with the force of a savage giant, the Frenzied impact shattering the outer metal plating and leaving a huge dent.

“Dammit, not enough power.”

The short-tempered Wild Beast let out a roar. He tried to grab the turret’s long barrel and fling it away, but even while inhabited by three Beast Spirits, he still struggled, merely carving deep gouges into the ground as he dragged it.

The next second.

His pupils widened.

The other, undamaged modified tank beside him hadn’t even had time to turn its turret to fire when a sudden, unforeseen ripple of power lifted it off the ground.

It was as if an invisible giant hand had seized it and held it high in the air.

“Holy shit!”

Wild Beast was completely dumbfounded.

Even Little Zeus, who had just charged a guard post with lightning speed, felt his composure waver.

The scene was simply too shocking.

In the distance, Su Chen stood with his right hand held out flat. As he applied Telekinesis to the tank, he also infused it with the Gravity Skill. Four Vector Force Fields slammed into the vehicle’s body from different angles.

CRUNCH!

The steel let out a grating, metallic screech.

Under the terrifying inward pressure, the thick armor collapsed layer by layer as if it were made of paper. The barrel twisted like a pretzel. Within seconds, the twenty-ton light tank was compressed into a giant lump of scrap iron.

A mixture of dark red blood and black motor oil slowly seeped from the cracks on the iron ball’s surface, dripping onto the ground.

‘It was just okay. I still haven’t tested the limits of my Telekinesis,’ Su Chen thought, not yet having a clear grasp of his own current power level.

And that was his strength without even wearing his True Spirit Dominating Armor.

With the combination of his Lv10 Telekinesis and Lv8 Gravity Skill, the feat was effortless.

By his own estimation, while wearing the armor, he should be able to lift a hundred-ton semi-truck charging right at him.

Immediately after.

With a mere thought, he mercilessly destroyed a six-meter-tall Light Prism Tower from over a hundred meters away with a blast of telekinetic force.

At the same time, another armored car trying to drive away was seized by an invisible force. Its tires spun wildly in place, kicking up the thick, acrid smell of burning rubber, but it couldn’t move even a single centimeter.

“No—!”

The scream had barely left their lips when the armored car was violently compressed like a soda can. The chassis rapidly collapsed and fused together, ultimately becoming another lump of scrap iron.

‘This guy is just ridiculously strong,’ Xiaodouding Bao thought, speechless.

She felt like her understanding of him had been completely rewritten once again.

This display of power was so simple and brutal that the remaining enemy soldiers scattered in terror, not daring to entertain even a shred of resistance.

The group didn’t give chase. After collecting the spoils, they continued toward their objective.

…

Less than an hour later.

Concealing their tracks as they went, they quietly traveled several dozen kilometers and successfully approached their destination.

There was no need to use his Telekinesis Perception to scout the area, as the commotion nearby was far too conspicuous.

Before them was a massive, bottomless rift valley, over a hundred meters wide. Its cliff faces were as sheer as if carved by a blade, and besides the exposed rock formations below, a few broken pipes could be seen jutting out.

The bottom of the rift was not obscured by mist. They could faintly make out collapsed spires, half-buried colossi, and countless fragmented Rune steles that glimmered with faint light.

It was obvious.

A vast system of underground caverns lay beneath the earth here.

And right now, this forbidden land was already heavily guarded.
