Chapter 1349: Chapter 534: The Little Ice Cube and the Tentacle Monster
Ron’s consciousness soared through a radiant vortex of colors like a falling star.
The space around him twisted and reformed, and the laws of reality were completely overturned.
When the dizzying sensation finally ceased, he found himself in a mesmerizing Exotic Realm.
The sky displayed a checkerboard pattern of emerald squares, each slowly alternating bright and dark, like a massive array of neon lights.
The land was a deep purple, with rippling textures like water waves, producing a melodious chime like wind chimes underfoot.
The most peculiar were the rivers.
They flowed with thick, rainbow-colored liquid.
Bands of seven-colored light gently flowed within, occasionally releasing luminous bubbles that burst with an array of strange fragrances.
In the distance stood a breathtaking castle:
Enormous clock gears formed the walls, and ancient books layered like bricks.
At the top of the castle’s spire, countless hands were spinning madly counterclockwise, producing a light, urgent ticking sound.
The air was filled with whispers from countless dandelions, telling the sad tales of the forgotten in voices as thin as mosquitoes:
"Once there was a child, waiting every day for father to come home..."
"That girl looked at distant sailboats until the day she died..."
"The old man guarded the empty house, the tea on the table long cold..."
As Ron was trying to adapt to this surreal environment, two beams of light coalesced beside him.
"Baby, are you okay?"
A concerned female voice came from the left side.
Ron turned his head to see a female figure clumsily wrapped in a gigantic dark cloak.
However, this cloak was clearly unable to fully conceal her non-human traits.
From the edges of the cloak, a third and fourth hand occasionally reached out to straighten hair or adjust the hem.
More intriguing were the two or three tentacle eyes extending from her hair, blinking nervously and constantly scanning around like vigilant sentries.
This was Nari.
Even in this mind space, she maintained the image of a devoted Mother, yet was troubled by her inability to hide her alien essence.
From another light cluster emerged a little girl of about five or six years, delicately formed.
She wore an exquisite little dress, and her silver hair flowed like a waterfall down to her ankles.
Most striking was her pair of golden eyes.
Even in a child’s face, they exuded an undeniable aura of majesty.
The little girl placed her hands on her hips and reprimanded with a very mature tone:
"Ron! Vigilance is the first principle of survival!
Your reckless behavior just now almost made me... made me..."
She stomped her foot in anger, but the gesture seemed more like a spoiled child.
This was Aselia.
Due to severe energy limitations, she could only maintain this juvenile form, which bruised her ego.
Nari was stunned for a moment upon seeing Aselia, then exploded with laughter.
She held her stomach with six hands, laughing until her whole body shook:
"Little ice cube! You... you’ve turned into this form!
And you’re telling my baby to be vigilant? Hahaha, you now resemble a brat in adult clothing!"
Aselia’s face turned red with fury, stomping her feet in protest:
"This is the optimal form under energy constraints! What do you know! My soul’s essence remains that of the great Ancient Dragon Race!"
"Yet with your current appearance, you couldn’t even scare a mouse!"
Nari continued to tease, tears streaming as she laughed.
"You tentacle monster!"
Aselia was completely provoked, lunging at Nari like a ferocious beast.
But due to her small stature, she looked more like a tantrum-throwing child.
Ron watched these two "family members" with amusement and helplessness, the tension in his heart relieved somewhat by this absurd reunion.
In this mental world, their forms reflected a certain essence of their souls.
Nari was an amalgamation filled with excessive Motherly love and Chaos.
While Aselia was a "juvenile" soul possessing wisdom yet lacking experience.
"Alright, alright." Ron quickly intervened to mediate:
"We’re a team now; we should be united."
Aselia immediately seized the opportunity, extending her arms:
"As the guide, this dragon refuses to let my feet touch this false land. Ron, carry me."
"What?! Nari instantly protested:
"Mommy wants to be carried too! Why can only she?"
As their "family internal conflict" escalated, a joyous song echoed from nearby:
"Dum dum clang clang, dum dum clang clang, a guest visits today!"
A colorful figure bounded toward them.
It was a three-headed white rabbit, wearing a red magician’s hat, each head showing an excited expression.
"Ron!" the three heads said in unison:
"You finally arrived! We’ve been waiting for you for so long!"
Upon a closer look, Ron recognized the Magic Rabbit he’d met in King of Absurdity’s treasury.
"How are you here?" he asked, astonished.
"Of course, to be your guide!"
The three-headed rabbit answered proudly, "But before explaining the rules..."
It suddenly made an exaggerated tearing motion, as if ripping itself apart.
Nari cried out in surprise, but Aselia calmly said:
"It should just be an illusion Transformation."
Indeed, as the rabbit’s body was "torn open," what appeared was simply white cotton.
