Chapter 1286:- Anti Emperor Faction Camp Discussion [IV]

Chapter 1286: Chapter 1286:- Anti Emperor Faction Camp Discussion [IV]

"After everything he did on the battlefield today, he was simply too exhausted to attend this meeting. Not to mention the serious injuries he suffered while fighting Andris. Although he’s receiving proper treatment, his body still needs time to recover."

"Because of this, I have decided to handle tonight’s meeting on his behalf."

"There’s no need to disturb him over something that we can easily discuss among ourselves."

Hearing this, the Duke immediately nodded his head. "I understand, Lord Boris."

He then added respectfully. "His Majesty has certainly earned a proper rest after everything he accomplished today."

The other nobles also nodded in agreement. In fact, not a single Duke, noble, or commander from the Anti-Emperor Faction had any complaint about Aditya’s absence. Nobody even considered it a problem.

After all, they had personally witnessed what Aditya had accomplished during the first day of the war. They had seen him enter the battlefield and completely change the situation within less than forty minutes.

They had watched as he single-handedly killed more than two hundred thousand enemy soldiers, forcing the Emperor Faction to suffer losses that would normally require several major battles. And after doing all of that, he had even defeated Andris, one of the Thirteen National Treasures of the Celestial Dragon Empire.

Such achievements were simply too extraordinary to ignore. Even the most experienced commanders sitting inside the tent had never witnessed anything like it before. For many of them, today had completely changed their understanding of how powerful a single cultivator could become.

Before the battle, they had known that Aditya was extremely strong. After all, he was the Dragon Monarch and the Emperor of the Istarin Empire. His achievements were already famous, and many people had heard stories about his overwhelming strength.

However, hearing stories about someone’s power and personally witnessing that power were two completely different things. Today, they had finally seen what Aditya was truly capable of. And the experience had left a powerful impression on everyone.

In fact, several nobles could not help but imagine what would have happened if Aditya had been fighting for Ren instead. Just thinking about that possibility made them feel uncomfortable. If someone like Aditya had been fighting on the Emperor Faction’s side, then the Anti-Emperor Faction might have suffered the same terrible losses that Ren’s army had experienced today.

Their enormous army of one million soldiers might have been reduced by hundreds of thousands within a very short time. And considering Aditya’s overwhelming speed and destructive abilities, there was no guarantee that their commanders would have been able to stop him.

If that had happened, the Anti-Emperor Faction might have lost the war on the very first day. Even if they somehow managed to survive, they would certainly not be sitting comfortably inside this tent tonight, discussing their plans for tomorrow.

Instead, they might have been desperately retreating from the battlefield while trying to save whatever remained of their army. Their soldiers would have been exhausted, their morale would have been extremely low, and their commanders would have been struggling to prevent the entire army from falling apart.

Some of the nobles might not even have survived long enough to return to the camp. The thought of such a situation made several of them feel extremely grateful that Aditya was fighting on their side.

Because of him, they had been able to achieve an enormous victory on the first day of the war. Instead of worrying about how they would survive another battle, they were now discussing how to bring the entire war to an end tomorrow.

And all of this had become possible largely because of Aditya’s actions. Furthermore, Aditya had left such a powerful impression on the hearts and minds of the nobles that their opinion of him had changed significantly.

Before the war, some of them had supported Aditya mainly because he was the former Crown Prince and the rightful heir to the throne. Others had supported him because they disliked Ren’s rule or believed that the Celestial Dragon Empire needed a different Emperor.

However, after witnessing Aditya’s strength and achievements today, their support had become much stronger. They no longer viewed him as merely the former Crown Prince who had returned to reclaim his throne. They now saw him as someone who truly possessed the strength and ability to become the next Emperor of the Celestial Dragon Empire.

After all, an Emperor needed more than royal blood to rule such a powerful Empire. He needed enough strength to protect his people, enough intelligence to make difficult decisions, and enough courage to stand against powerful enemies. And today, Aditya had demonstrated all three qualities.

His overwhelming strength had allowed him to destroy a large part of the enemy army. His intelligence had allowed him to defeat Andris despite the difference in their cultivation levels. And his courage had allowed him to personally enter the battlefield and fight against enemies who were powerful enough to threaten his life.

For the nobles who had witnessed everything, these achievements were more than enough to prove that Aditya was fully capable of becoming their next Emperor. In fact, many of them were now looking forward to the day when he would finally sit on the throne of the Celestial Dragon Empire.

They believed that under his leadership, the Empire could become even stronger than before. Because of this, nobody had the slightest objection to Boris handling tonight’s meeting on Aditya’s behalf. If anything, they were happy that Aditya was finally getting some well-deserved rest.

After all, he had already done more than enough for a single day. And if he managed to recover completely before tomorrow’s battle, the Anti-Emperor Faction’s chances of winning would become even greater.

Seeing that nobody had any objections, Boris nodded with satisfaction.

"Good. Then let’s allow Aditya to rest peacefully tonight."

He then looked down at the map once again. "Now, let’s continue discussing our preparations for tomorrow."

For the next hour, Boris continued discussing the plans and strategies for tomorrow’s battle with everyone gathered inside the tent.

Although the Anti-Emperor Faction had gained an enormous advantage during the first day of the war, Boris had no intention of becoming careless. He understood that tomorrow would most likely be the final deciding battle, and because of this, he wanted to make sure that everyone knew exactly what they needed to do.

During the meeting, Boris carefully went over the different parts of the battlefield. Using the large map spread across the wooden table, he explained where the different divisions of their army would be positioned and how they would move once the battle began.

He also discussed which commanders would be responsible for leading the different sections of the army. Since their forces were much larger than those of the Emperor Faction, Boris wanted to make sure that they used their advantage in numbers properly.

After all, having more soldiers did not automatically guarantee victory. If the soldiers were poorly organised or their commanders made careless decisions, even a smaller enemy army could cause serious problems.

Because of this, Boris spent a considerable amount of time discussing how the different divisions should support one another during the battle.

He also reminded the commanders that they should not underestimate the remaining soldiers of the Emperor Faction. Although Ren’s army had suffered terrible losses, the soldiers who were still capable of fighting would most likely be desperate to survive.

And desperate soldiers could sometimes become even more dangerous than ordinary soldiers. Furthermore, Boris wanted everyone to remain prepared for the possibility that Ren might receive additional support from the mysterious organization.

Although they had no information confirming that the organization would send more powerful cultivators, Boris believed that it was better to prepare for such a possibility than to be caught completely unprepared.

During the discussion, Malakor Harrington and the other Seventh Order cultivators also shared their opinions. They discussed how they should respond if several enemy Seventh Order cultivators suddenly appeared on the battlefield.

Everyone knew that their main responsibility would be to prevent the enemy’s strongest cultivators from attacking the ordinary soldiers. After all, if a Seventh Order cultivator was allowed to freely attack an army without anyone stopping him, the number of casualties could increase very quickly.

They had already witnessed what Aditya had accomplished during the first day of the war.

Although Aditya was only a Beginner Sixth Order cultivator, his overwhelming abilities had allowed him to kill more than two hundred thousand enemy soldiers within less than forty minutes. This alone was enough to remind everyone just how dangerous a powerful individual could be on a battlefield.

Because of this, Boris made it clear that the Seventh Order cultivators should focus on dealing with enemies of similar strength instead of wasting their time fighting ordinary soldiers. Of course, if an opportunity appeared to eliminate an important enemy commander, they were free to take advantage of it.

However, their main responsibility would remain the same. They needed to make sure that the Emperor Faction’s powerful cultivators did not gain the freedom to attack their army. Meanwhile, the ordinary commanders would be responsible for leading their soldiers and defeating the remaining forces of the Emperor Faction.

Throughout the discussion, everyone listened carefully and occasionally shared their own suggestions. Whenever someone raised an important concern, Boris would take a moment to consider it before making a decision.

Although he was extremely confident about tomorrow’s battle, he was not someone who would ignore the opinions of experienced commanders. After all, many of the people sitting inside the tent had spent years leading soldiers and fighting wars.

Their experience could prove extremely valuable. Because of this, the meeting continued for almost an entire hour. By the time they finished discussing everything, most of the important

Of course, Boris also knew from his experience that no plan could perfectly predict everything that would happen on a battlefield. There would always be unexpected situations. However, as long as everyone understood their responsibilities and remained prepared to make changes when necessary, Boris believed that their army would be able to handle most problems.
