Chapter 455: Chapter 187: Earth Fiend Divine Acupoints, Storm in the Liang Kingdom

’Huh? Is that... Elder Li Feiyu?!’

Xu Tian’s heart pounded as he stared in disbelief at the clear portrait in the men’s hands.

"That’s the target of the Demon Palace’s bounty. Tsk tsk, how amazing. If you could catch him, you’d be rich."

A voice came from beside him.

Xu Tian’s heart dropped.

’The Demon Palace... a bounty?!’

’What is going on?!’

"Senior Brother Xu, what’s wrong?" a voice suddenly sounded by his ear.

Xu Tian snapped back to reality. His gaze was fixed on the figure in the portrait, his mind a raging storm.

"I’m fine," he said flatly. Then, he strode over to the men and tossed a gold leaf onto their table.

"I’ll take this portrait," Xu Tian said coolly.

The men were startled for a moment. Their eyes burned with greed as they looked at the gold leaf on the table. One of them, a large man, quickly recovered, plastered a smile on his face, and handed the portrait to Xu Tian.

"Here you are, Sir."

Xu Tian put the portrait away, his expression unreadable. Just then, his companions came up to him, staring at him in astonishment.

A young woman couldn’t help but ask, "Senior Brother Xu, are you crazy? A whole gold leaf for a wanted poster?"

Xu Tian glanced at her and said coolly, "It’s fine. It’s just pocket change."

"..."

Hearing Xu Tian’s words, the others were left speechless and didn’t press the matter further.

For Senior Brother Xu, with his wealth, it really was just pocket change.

"Let’s go. We’ll talk upstairs."

Xu Tian spoke, then headed upstairs in the inn, with the others following close behind.

Soon, they arrived at a premium room on the top floor of the inn.

After closing the door, Xu Tian took out the portrait and looked at the figure depicted within.

"There’s no mistake. This is definitely Elder Li."

"I never thought the Demon Palace’s bounty would be for him."

Xu Tian gazed at the wanted poster and sighed internally.

’How long has it been?’

He remembered they had only parted ways a little over a month ago.

’It seems Elder Li must also be the one who wiped out the thirty-odd Demon Kings of Ten Thousand Demon Mountain.’

The thought flashed through his mind.

Meanwhile, his companions watched his focused expression. The girl in red spoke up.

"Senior Brother Xu, is it possible you know the man in this portrait?"

Hearing the girl in red’s question, the other three also looked at Xu Tian with curiosity.

Xu Tian nodded.

"Yes."

He then briefly explained the situation from before and shared his suspicions. Hearing this, everyone in the room felt their hearts leap.

One man had nearly annihilated all the Demon Kings of Ten Thousand Demon Mountain and even slain a Demon Emperor.

No wonder the Demon Palace had issued such a shocking bounty.

"Senior Brother Xu, what do you plan to do?"

the girl in red asked, looking at Xu Tian.

Xu Tian pondered for a moment before speaking. "I should inform the Elder and give him a warning. For now, don’t speak of this to anyone. If the Demon Palace finds out, it will be trouble for all of us."

Hearing this, the others nodded.

Xu Tian was their First Senior Brother; naturally, they would listen to him.

Xu Tian then took out a Sound Transmission Bell, sent a message, and put it away.

"Senior Brother Xu, do you think this Elder Li can escape the Demon Palace’s bounty hunt?"

A skinny young man asked Xu Tian, his face full of curiosity.

Xu Tian shook his head. "I don’t know. We can only leave it to fate."

At his words, the others couldn’t help but look at each other in dismay.

"If he could kill a few more of the Demon Palace’s Demon Emperors, it wouldn’t be a bad thing. The Demon Palace has run rampant for so long; it’s time they paid the price," said the girl in red.

Xu Tian fell silent, gazing quietly out the window.

Although he hadn’t been able to meet the Elder again, the news he’d heard was earth-shattering.

His intuition told him that a greater storm was brewing in the Liang Kingdom.

’I just don’t know where Elder Li is now. I’d really like to see his magnificent presence for myself... ’

The thought flashed through Xu Tian’s mind.

He had never imagined that the person he’d met back then would now be the source of such shocking news.

It had been a long time since the Demon Palace issued a bounty of this magnitude.
