Commanding Wind and Cloud

Chapter 379

Chapter 379: You Noobs

“Mr. President, wait.”

Paying no attention to Ray Guamin, Qian Jin made straight for the furnace in the courtyard corner. Although the Torrent Battle Fort had hired its own blacksmiths, they still had to turn to the Blacksmith Union for sophisticated weapons because the blacksmiths weren’t that skilled. But they had all the forging equipment needed here.

The strange behavior engaged the audience’s full attention that they even forgot about the quarrel. Fixing their eyes on Qian Jin, they started to guess what his plan was.

“Is this bastard…” Ray Guamin murmured to himself in a lowered voice: “Trying to prove his value through forging?”

Fuel was poured on the fire that had not yet extinguished and the furnace was suddenly ignited with burning flames!

Qian Jin cast an appropriate amount of coal and a few pieces of pig iron into the furnace, and then picked up a hammer from the tool rack without any hesitation!

Ray Guamin laughed out after he saw the hammer. Well, the kid was clearly bluffing! He was definitely a layman! When forging pig iron, a relatively large hammer was the best choice! That little thing in his hand was used for shaping!

“And the bellow, he is pulling it too fast, which will damage the iron.” Ray Guamin shook his head at this moron! Did he think forging is just casual knocking and hitting?

The bellow was pulled fiercely, which caused more fiery flames! The pig iron soon became red all over! Qian Jin then took an iron bar to single it out!

This time, a series of laughter burst out from the blacksmiths standing behind Ray Guamin! Didn’t the man know there was a tool in this world named fire-tongs? Without the clipping force, sparks would splash from the burning piece and people might get hurt!

Suddenly Qian Jin fetched another hammer with his left hand! Now he had two hammers! Ray Guamin’s face was brightened. Why did this look much like the rumor he had once heard of…

Ray Guamin winked hard! It finally occurred to him that an Oakland blacksmith called Lucas once said that there had been a man who could forge pig iron into purified iron with two hammers but no fire-tongs! That man was named… Qian Jin!

Wasn’t this a coincidence? Before Ray Guamin woke up from his reveries, Qian Jin initiated the first strike onto the blazing pig iron! No sooner had it jumped up than Qian Jin launched the second with the other hammer in his left hand!

The two hammers worked like two sticks at this moment. The spirits rose to their zenith as the war drums beat one hit after another!

All the people were dumbfounded by the scene… What the hell? Wasn’t this kid a warrior? Why could he forge? And it seemed he was very skilled…

Even to Marc Gavin, it was a surprise. He only knew Qian Jin could forge, but he didn’t know it could be so sensational!

It was a stunning show! Looking the pig iron that was being transformed into a weapon, Ray Guamin couldn’t move his eyes. What was this kid doing? He should make some purified iron first! Was he out of his mind? Didn’t he know it would reduce the weapon’s quality but also compound the difficulty?

Qian Jin finally stopped. Wiping off the sweat on his head, he threw the brand new ax at Ray Guamin’s foot.

The blade thrust itself sharply into the ground, reflecting a chilling light!

Ray Guamin bent down and gently stroked the hatchet. The hand that had never shaken for once now trembled hard! His pupils shrank into needle tips and they looked so blank. “Level 2 Warrior Weapon? No! How can it be like this…? ”

Level 2 Warrior Weapon? All at once, the audience had their sights set on the piece made in a hurry!

Level 2 Warrior Weapon… Ray Guamin breathed heavily as if he was choking to death due to a lack of oxygen.

Well, compared to the Level 7, this one didn’t count for a thing. But the problem was, it was produced in such a short time and with such ordinary materials! Qian Jin did it like it was just some familiar bit of work to him.

Ray Guamin knew for sure that he wouldn’t be able to do this if he were Qian Jin. He couldn’t forge a Warrior Weapon out in such a short time with such inferior metals even if he was a Level 10 Axe Forge Master!

All the people looked at Qian Jin in silence. Even the laymen would know that this time, Qian Jin had defeated Ray Guamin!

Glancing over Ray Guamin, the five vice presidents and the old new leader Ray Zhen, Marc Gavin laughed out loud. “You bastards dared to wake me up on such a beautiful morning? And you even wanted to threaten me? I thought the grudge between us has ended already! It seems you don’t want to let it go just like this! Alright, Fabreidis is coming back soon… ”

“Mr. President,” Qian Jin threw away the hammers in a yawn and checked out the sun for the time, “I have to go or I’ll be late for class. Fill me in when I come back.”

“No problem!” Marc Gavin cried out as hard as he could, “Torrent Ten Warriors! Yeah, right! You go and escort Qian Jin to school. Remember to pick him up when it’s over. If anyone dared to lay his hand on my babe, kill him! You hear me?”

Armed with different weapons, the ten warriors who had been secretly watching behind the crowd suddenly dashed out! They answered with high morale and strong fighting will! Caring not if Qian Jin had agreed, they walked along with him and Gabriella out of Torrent Battle Fort.

Marc Gavin shuffled crabwise across the yard. The smug smile didn’t make the face more handsome but much more annoying to the Rays! Only the man himself wasn’t aware how ridiculous he looked right now.

He had never felt so good before! Offending the Blacksmith Union, he thought the equipment of his organization must have been sacrificed! Who would have expected that it wasn’t an effort for Qian Jin to forge a Warrior Weapon!

Fu*k the Blacksmith Union!

“Haha…” Marc Gavin stuck his round face out. “Ray Guamin, you want to get out on your own or you need my help?”

“You…”

“Oh… I see! You want me to toss you out?” Clutching the man’s neck with only one hand, the bear lifted the man up and threw him out as if he were a little chicken!

Marc Gavin had been dreaming about this for his whole life! Thanks to Qian Jin, he finally did it! That kid was full of surprises.

With a black face, Ray Zhen stood up. Before he left, he turned around for another look on the Level 2 Warrior Weapon lying on the ground. This Marc Gavin looked like a bear but was quick-witted indeed. He would definitely have gone after Qian Jin if he hadn’t sent the Torrent Ten Warriors to protect that young man.

Torrent Ten Warriors… Ray Zhen dared not to challenge them! Besides, Fabreidis was a Saint Warrior now! Rumor even had it that he had discovered his Soul Realm already!

Killing the Torrent Ten Warriors was, in fact, to declare a war on Torrent Battle Fort! Heavy losses might be inflicted on that organization if the Rays make the best of it, but the Rays might disappear from the Yulee once and for all!

“Qian Jin… Qian Jin…” Ray Zhen was suddenly enlightened as he saw the passing warriors in black uniforms! Yes! There was still one way to get rid of that young man!

Jun Wudo! The ringleader of the Yulee gangs! With money, he would do this!

Today was the first day of school. Sitting in the bouncing carriage, Qian Jin felt oddly nervous while heading to the Punitive Expedition Academy.

Getting off the carriage in front of the gate, Qian Jin found the guards throw back their heads, expand their chests and stood more briskly than ever! They were like a contingent of troops waiting for review and Qian Jin was the General!

It seemed that what had happened yesterday in front of the students had achieved the effect… At least, no one dared to look at Qian Jin with different eyes anymore!

“I should go.” Gabriella ran to the magic department after a short and timid greeting.

Watching her leave and turning around, Qian Jin saw two acquaintances waiting there.

“Qian Jin, what a coincidence.” Waving an expensive paper fan in hand, Tence Matten came forward in an elegant way. Though there was no wind in the air, his hair was blown in the breeze produced by the Magic Conductor, the fan!

Qian Jin smiled while he greeted back! With a closer look, Qian Jin found the last warrior of the top 100 on the Hundred Battle Ranking List seemed a humble man, but in fact, was a player who even used Magic Conductors in his daily life.

“Qian Jin, I checked it last night and found we are in the same class. How about we go together?” Tence Matten shut his folding fan while turning aside, “Please.”

Qian Jin walked on beside Tence Matten. It suddenly occurred to him that the man wasn’t making way for him but giving orders, except the order was given in a subtle way that was almost imperceptible.
