Chapter 564: No One Likes Pain
“If you can’t make 10 bottles of this potion, you can’t leave!” Adams said to Qian Jin without looking up. “But since it looks like you have questions to ask others, you can get the fu*k out now.”
“Oh,” Qian Jin scratched his head and quickly went to Enlak’s place.
On the way there, he was caught by Eulalia. Eulalia told Qian Jin, “Come here, try this new potion that I made, it is very beneficial.”
“Beneficial?” Qian Jin chugged down the potion as he doubted Eulalia’s claims.
Instantly, he felt like his body was getting bigger and bigger and a huge force inside his body was trying to rush out. His Warrior Power started to cycle out of control, and it immediately passed Qian Jin’s limit.
Bam!
Before Qian Jin got booted out of Endless World, he saw his body exploding completely as that huge force expanded outward, and he heard Eulalia say, “Looks like my God Creation Potion is prepared incorrectly. I need to do more research…”
Puff! Qian Jin spat out a mouthful of blood and quickly sat up from his bed. He realized that blood had jetted out of his pores and he got turned into a blood man. His reservoirs and connections looked like they were bombed; nothing was intact.
“Huh…”
When Qian Jin just took the potion, he was feeling so great that he almost flew and his reservoirs and connections were in a state of hyperactivity. However, that only lasted shortly before everything went south.
“If the dosage decreases a lot…” Qian Jin rubbed his nose and thought, “If I take that during battle, my combat ability would increase a lot, right?”
He laughed bitterly and put the hat back onto his face. He told himself that he shouldn’t think about this potion that much as he might die from it.
After he returned to Endless World, he saw a bottle of potion by his feet, it was from Adams.
Of course, the potion didn’t have feet and didn’t get here on its own, Adams prepared it and put it here in advance.
“Eulalia! Go easy on him! If you kill my apprentice, I will…”
“Adams! You don’t know sh*t! I’m helping him! He is my apprentice as well!”
Eulalia and Adams shouted at each other in Eulalia’s workshop, and they were both expressing their love towards their apprentice.
Qian Jin bowed in their direction sincerely.
Enlak’s sharp eyes saw Qian Jin’s behavior through the gate and nodded in satisfaction. After all, gratitude was shown and not spoken.
“Uncle…”
“What’s up? You here to battle again?” Enlak smiled, “I’m waiting.”
“No…” Qian Jin scratched his head and said, “I need your help…”
Before Enlak could say that Qian Jin needed to defeat him, Qian Jin squatted down and drew a series of strange technique sequences; they were the unknown technique sequences in his Warrior Heart.
Enlak who was about to tell Qian Jin that he was breaking the rules closed his mouth after he saw the technique sequences, and a lot of expressions appeared on his face including, confusion, surprise, curiosity, and joy.
Although these strange technique sequences were moving and changing in Qian Jin’s first Warrior Heart and didn’t follow any order, there seemed to be a pattern.
“These technique sequences, are alive…” Enlak cupped his chin and said, “They are still wiggling and moving, right?”
Qian Jin wasn’t surprised; Enlak was someone who could rewrite the entire Kun Fighting Technique by just looking at a small part of it, recreate Qian Fighting Technique from Kun Fighting Technique, and combine them together.
Enlak’s understanding of Warrior Power and Fighting Techniques was so outstanding that Qian Jin wasn’t sure if there was a person in Zence who could top Enlak.
“Interesting,” a rare admiring expression appeared on Enlak’s face as he said, “The person who created this technique is a genius!”
“Created?” Qian Jin wasn’t sure how he got a technique that he didn’t know about.
“You have your own set of Warrior Power Training Techniques, right?” Enlak started to draw out the cycling path of the Warrior Power.
Enlak who used to complete everything rapidly slowed down and drew carefully for the first time, and he sometimes had to stop and think.
Qian Jin was immediately shocked. “Is this Wind and Cloud Warrior Power? How did Uncle Enlak know? Is it from those technique sequences?”
The 108 Reservoirs Training Scrolls were all extremely complicated and Enlak stopped before he completed his drawing. He looked up and said, “I know what the creator of this technique was thinking.”
“The person who taught you this didn’t teach you any fighting techniques, right?” Enlak asked.
Qian Jin nodded habitually. Although he knew that Enlak was good at his job and was very talented, his question shocked Qian Jin; it felt like he was there when that old man taught Qian Jin in Four Seasons Valley.
“It is not that your master didn’t want to teach you fighting techniques; there was no need,” Enlak continued, “If he taught you fighting techniques, you might have increased your combat ability fast in a short time, but that would lock in your potential, you would only be as powerful as him.”
Qian Jin was more confused as he listened more.
“To put it in simple terms, you got a special path when you learned this Warrior Power Training Scroll,” Enlak said. “These technique sequences formed not too long ago, right?”
“Your Warrior Power is alive as well.”
“As well? Alive?” Qian Jin was perplexed at these words.
“Your Warrior Power has its own technique sequences, but anyone who learned it will create different fighting techniques,” Enlak explained. “Normally, training Warrior Power and learning fighting techniques are different things.”
Qian Jin nodded and agreed. Humans, demons, and barbarians had a consensus on this topic.
“Your Warrior Power can learn on its own, and that is why I say it is alive,” Enlak praised with a smile on his face, “Through your battles and the fighting techniques you’ve learned, it will slowly absorb the essence and create a brand-new set of fighting technique that is so unique that your disciples couldn’t even learn from you.”
“What?” Qian Jin was surprised, anyone from the real world would be as this was unheard of.
“That is right! It is in the preliminary stage,” Enlak snapped his finger and said. “There seem to be criteria around this. As long as you learned enough fighting techniques and have a Warrior Heart, it will start to evolve. Although you hadn’t learned a lot of techniques, the quality of these techniques are…Haha”
Qian Jin started to laugh as well. Bloodline Technique of Iron-Arm Mantis Bloodline, Land Tearing Chop, Latent Thunder, Kun Fighting Technique, Eighteen Blade Elevating Strikes… all of these were Divine Fighting Techniques, and even the top-10 bloodlines families in Zence couldn’t come up with so many Divine Fighting Techniques.
“What is it going to form?” Qian Jin asked.
“Form?” A curious expression also appeared on Enlak’s face as he replied, “I also want to know. It is in the early stage and it needs to be nurtured by a lot of fighting techniques. Doesn’t matter if the techniques are Divine-level or not, the more the better. I believe the person who taught you this training scroll told you to learn as many fighting techniques as possible, right?”
Qian Jin nodded repeatedly. When he got kicked out of Four Seasons Valley by that old man, that old man did tell him that; now he understood the intention behind his master’s words.
“One thing is certain; this technique sequence could distinguish the good fighting techniques from the bad ones. It would only take the good parts of the techniques and put it in itself. I don’t even know how it is going to turn out.” Enlak sighed, but he soon added with excitement, “But I do look forward to its final form.”
“Distinguish the good from the bad on its own?” Qian Jin felt like it was impossible. “Could it be that the story that master told me is true? The creator of Wind and Cloud Warrior Power did fight with the Ultimate Awakened Bloodline Warrior of Qian Family?”
“Such a genius design!” Enlak suddenly praised, “But it is also the dumbest design as well!”
“Why? What?” Qian Jin was confused by the contradicting words.
“Genius! The effect of this technique is amazing!” Enlak smiled and said, “Dumb because I can’t even say it requires hard work, it is on the level of cruelness. Anyone who can’t endure that pain and the cruelness can’t reach the max potential of this technique. The person practicing this training technique needs to give it all, risk his or her life, and work extremely hard. Any sort of slacking off would harm the effect of it, and the peak won’t be reached!”
He then shrugged his shoulder and added, “But people are people after all. Any person with a rational mind might back off in front of extremely hard work. People would say that they are willing to put in the work, but what about after 10 times, 100 times? After these people see how their hard work resulted in less achievement compared to those born with advantages, wouldn’t they be disappointed? After ordinary warriors are surpassed by Bloodline Warriors regularly due to the bloodline awakenings, would they still keep going? People are all afraid of hard work; no one likes pain.”
