Chapter 1868 – Return of Mingye (4)

Long Yan smiled on the surface but he was cursing this mad and idiot prince in his heart.

“During the period I was away, what were you all doing?” Shen Yanxiao saw that the suspicion had been cleared up, and so she immediately had Mingye inquire about the situation.

“Answering Your Highness, since we hadn’t seen Your Highness for a long time, we thought that Your Highness was taken away by the dragons in the north. We were just discussing whether to go to the Dragon Cemetery, resurrect the bone dragons and charge to the north to rescue you.” Sal answered systematically and in full detail. He no longer had any doubt about Mingye. Right now, his heart was full of hatred for Long Yan’s deliberate deception.

“Oh? The Dragon Cemetery ah… This matter seems to have been dragging on for a long time now. The things that father asked me to do must be completed. I think I can start tomorrow.” It was rare for Mingye not to make things difficult as he readily agreed.

Sal was stunned by Mingye’s response.

Didn’t Prince Mingye always like to make things difficult? How come he was so easy to talk to today, that when you told him to go to the Dragon Cemetery, he actually agreed to go?

The most difficult prince in history suddenly became so easy to talk to after going out for a while. For a time, the group of undead found this somewhat difficult to digest.

Just after having been struck by Mingye, Long Yan did not dare to hit the target at this time, and immediately agreed. He tried his best to find an excuse to slip away, and dared not stay in the room for another half minute.

Only a bewildered group of undead remained inside the room.

“I’m tired. I’m going to rest first. Ye Dou, come with me.” Mingye yawned and, together with Ye Dou, left Sal and the others’ line of sight.

When he returned to his room, he immediately lost his elegant posture. He stood obediently beside Shen Yanxiao, waiting for her instructions.

“Early is not as good as opportunely. We came back at the right time.” Shen Yanxiao sat back in the chair, fiddling with a crystal ornament.

If they hadn’t arrived in time, she reckoned Sal would have rushed to take someone to the Dragon Cemetery this afternoon.

Once the undead aside from Mingye were allowed to resurrect the bone dragons, things would have gotten difficult.

“You know exactly what to do when you get to the Dragon Cemetery, right?” Shen Yanxiao looked at Mingye and again determined whether he was still under the control of her curse techniques.

“Yes.” Mingye nodded.

Shen Yanxiao smiled in satisfaction.

Moments later, a knock sounded on the door of Mingye’s room. Shen Yanxiao immediately stood up, put on the dull expression of Ye Dou, and then went to the door to open it.

Outside the door, the group of royal relatives lined up with eager eyes.

As soon as Shen Yanxiao opened the door, they rushed in impatiently. One after another, they walked over to Mingye and surrounded him.

“Your Highness, you’re back at last. You really made us worried to death while you were not here.”

“Your Highness is wise and mighty. I knew that Your Highness would never have any accident. Your Highness must have discovered that that man Long Yan is dishonest, and so went to tear down his face.”

“Humph! That Long Yan actually dared to deceive us. Wait until we eliminate the dragons in the north, we must let him see some color.”

A group of royal relatives, while despising the shameless Long Yan, sang praises for the wisdom of Mingye at the same time.

As a spectator, Shen Yanxiao was calm and unruffled as she leaned against the door, watching as the group of royal relatives, who were extremely good at boot-licking, attacked Mingye from all sides.

Obviously, Mingye had become accustomed to the compliments of these guys. Compared to Shen Yanxiao in disguise, he was more comfortable putting on an aloof and remote appearance, thinking that he was really awesome.
